Bernie Madoff is Dead

The man who wiped out  over $17.5 billion worth of savings is dead. He died of natural causes in prison where he was serving a 150-year sentence. He was 82. This man operated under the radar of the SEC for years and swindled some big names, including Steven Spielberg. He operated the biggest Ponzi scheme of the modern era.

So many financial scandals have passed through the city of london such as the LIBOR rate rigging scandal or the london whale or MF Global and yet we didn't see any arrests

 

The reason bernie was arrested was because he stole from the rich

And he made a lot of people look very foolish. Bernie was greedy all right, but was he any greedier than the people he swindled?

He was a crook.....but the law is clearly not applied evenly

When has it ever been? The legal system is akin to sewer where rats scurry to and fro looking for meal.
