How on Earth do you guys cope ?

How on Earth do you guys cope? I don't mean that in a nasty way. I mean it in a "nearly everyone is a complete moron, how do you all keep your sh!t together on a day-to-day basis?" way.

Any suggestions, books, I'll try anything, even religion at this point. But I feel like they're getting to me and I'm honestly just losing the plot. Any pointers would be really welcome.

Again, apologies, if this is in the wrong place and there's a thread for "n00bs having meltdowns", tell me and I'll punt this into there.

Some ways I can think of: Try to limit the exposure to all the media BS that is spouted 24/7. Focus on ones own mental and physical health. Maybe try bodybuilding, helps you take your mind off things or try having a walk in nature. Learning new skills might be another option.  Good music can inspire too.

And remember, there are good people that can see through what's going, even though they seem to be far and few between. And while seeing all the maskers while visiting a supermarket can be discouraging, it's those good people that keep giving me faith that not all is lost.

Welcome, clownworld....

1. Limit time spent with the morons

2. Switch off the TV/ignore media beyond just keeping up with the basic gist of their latest BS manouevres.

3. Have at least one person in real-life who can also see this nonsense for what it is, and will behave accordingly

4. Know that you are on the side of truth, of justice, and that whatever happens, you have not succumbed or been fooled by this scam.

5. Keep up some hobbies, interests, things to distract your focus onto something that gives you some pleasure/outlet/satisfaction.

oh and

6. FFS, don't ever wear a mask.

Thanks for all the solid advice ladies and gents (don't wanna assume anyone's gender!!).

Much appreciated. And yup, Chief was one of my favourite characters. Dunno how people feel about TV shows and series and such but Ratched on Netflix (ahem or the bit torrenting site of your choice, ahem) is well worth a watch if you like OFOTCN.

And body building is a good shout. I've lost fat, lots of, but am noodly and all legs and arms. I need to start with that, muscle mass is sweet as heck to look at and I am told it is excellent for mood.

Well, if the gyms are open. It's the best possible idea. Over here in Europe everything is locked down tighter than a virgin's pussy. No gym and many of them are already filing for bankruptcy. I doubt gyms will ever reopen and I wouldn't mind betting that Boris shuts everything down again in a month or two.

Gyms in UK are due to reopen on 12th April, but I think you're right. The moron in chief will shut things down again when vaccine uptake isn't as rapid as he wants it to be.  By winter at the latest. That's the plan, right?

Edited to add: DePfeffel has said pubs will be exempt from the "freedom passports". Someone needs to Mussolini the feck out of him and his Government, in Barbie Pony Adventures, obviously.

I don't know how this will affect the UK, but over here, we are bracing for a new Polar Vortex. Last week we had summery temperatures, but now, we are expecting snow and frost along with sub-zero temperatures. I understand that it's already snowing in Spain

Now I think everyone here is aware that the weather is being GeoEngineered, by the USA and probably Russia and China as well. How convenient to have wild swings of temperature. which will give 'flu-like symptoms, more "cases" of Covid and stricter lockdowns (until the entire population has been "vaccinated").

This is also going to have a devastating effect on crops, fruit trees and cattle feed, not to mention the effect in bird, insect and wildlife.  Food shortages, massive increases in cost of food and more poverty, disease and death as doctors and hospitals are only interested in "covid, covid and more covid".

Interestingly enough, I believe a lot of the food sold in UK shops comes from Europe, whilst here in Europe we hardly see anything at all from the UK and it isn't just since Brexit. We've been here on and off for more than 20 years. It's always been like this. We used to pop over to the UK to visit friends and do shopping for things like cheese, turkey's, Christmas fare, bacon and the like, but that's over. It's never coming back for the unvaccinated. Be ready for price hikes and food shortages. After all, you have to send the best of everything to the Third World, whilst you eat the leftover shit, and when there is a food shortage, guess who will be at the top of the list for supplies. Three guesses? Well, it certainly won't be the British!

What a wonderful fucking summer(?) to look forward to!

Since the start of the 'three weeks to flatten the curve' last year, I've continued to work and to travel to work, so not a great deal really has changed for me.

So I've just pretty much tried to continue 'as normal' the best I can. With a couple of exceptions:

I've not been able to go and regularly visit my parents, not because I don't want to, but because they won't let me - they're both avid TV watchers so are sadly fully indoctrinated into the propaganda, and I realise its a waste of time trying to persuade them otherwise, as I found at Christmas, so I just leave them to it.

I don't go shopping at 'big name' stores any more. Mainly because I didn't want to deal with the aggro of having to queue to get in and all the other silly rules and restrictions being put in place. Prior to the pandemic, I did online shopping at Tesco and Asda, mainly because I don't drive and this was handier for me. However, once all the available delivery slots started disappearing, I knocked that on the head, who really wants to wait six weeks for a grocery shop to arrive? I started using Iceland instead, the range isn't as great, but most of the time I can get a next-day delivery. And I also started shopping more at local independent supermarkets and convenience stores.

I've never been challenged at any of my local shops for not wearing a face covering, neither by staff or belligerent customers, in fact many fellow shoppers here don't wear masks either, and neither do the staff.

I live by myself, and don't have a lot of friends, so really nothing much changed! I do my own thing, and when I see other people out and about, who choose to wear masks and cross the road when they see me approaching, I don't let it bother me, if thats their choice then so be it.

I have a lot of parks and open green spaces near me, and I love just going out for a stroll, away from the TV, my computer and my phone (I leave it at home at lot now). Just me, my thoughts, and passing strangers. I sit on a bench by the park pool observing the ducks and geese, and experience a different reality - no pandemics, no wars, no misery, no violence, no suffering.

Thats how I personally cope. By rejecting this reality the best that I can.

Music...learn to play a musical instrument. Almost everyday, playing my 12 string guitar, along with my favorite tunes from the last 60 plus years works at least as well as meditation...the rest of the world just disappears for a short time.

........

There's one way you can move away from the world's fools and that IS to assume ones gender!

If my handle here is not my real name (and it's not) then you WILL assume and you WILL judge everything written by them to be one way or another.  So don't feel sorry for getting it wrong if and when you found out the truth later!

Just smile, call them a dîck for having a masculine or feminine title and move on!

If I see a woman from behind and my animal instincts kick in, then I WILL be shocked to find out it was a bloke!  That's nature and I'm not apologising for it!  Same with names.

If I'm to be friends with them after that I WILL talk about it but not apologise.  If I were to be good friends later on I would advise he drops the arse wiggle if he wants to not be seen as gay!

I'm not against gays.  I don't give a toss if they don't bother me, but if in this case the bloke was not gay I would help him be less feminine!

You are what you are.  Don't fight it.  Don't apologise.

Fûck PC culture.
