"THE PETER HITCHENS DEBATE:" Case Closed Or More To It?

Some thoughts on the Peter Hitchens statement in his Daily Mail column yesterday.

I think a lot of people like myself were more than a little surprised to see Peter Hitchens’ statement that he is going to “take the vaccine” this week. On reading the article my initial response was one of extreme disappointment given that Hitchens has been one of the few in the mainstream  arena  to mount any sort of resistance to the covid onslaught. The reason offered didn’t resonate with me either but as I had a number of things to do yesterday I put it to the back of my mind and got on with my day.

I’ve now had 24 hours to mull this over, including catching a couple radio news bulletins,  (I don’t watch any TV) which I’ll come to later, but having slept on this I awoke with the following thought:

“I’m not buying it.”

My gut instinct tells me there’s more to this than meets the eye. I’ll try and set them out in some sort of logical fashion here.

If we look at Hitchens’ stance from the start, the reason offered is not only lame but appears to be completely out of step with everything else he has said so far during this pandemic. It’s almost like some high school pupil’s poor excuse in advance for handing his homework in late, “So I can go and see my Aunty in far-off Peru.”

Let’s also look at not only his newspaper column, but also his regular appearances on Talk Radio with Mike Graham, where he has continually based all his arguments on “evidence” and “proportionality of the response,” which is fair enough, but if you compare that for his reasons for taking the vaccine then this doesn’t seem to stack up. There is no evidence to suggest the vaccine is safe, mounting evidence that there is a danger in taking the vaccine, and surely his relatives could come and see him instead? Having watched nearly all of the Talk Radio conversations I don’t think I’ve heard Hitchens mention the vaccine ONCE, although Mike Graham has mentioned it several times since Talk Radio was removed from YouTube, had its “ticking-off” and morphed into Vaccination FM. For Hitchens to come out of the blue like this and declare he’s having the vaccine strikes me, at the very least, as being odd.

Then we look at the timing: in a week where we’ve had various “celebrities,” book-ended nicely by the Queen on Friday encouraging us all to get this “harmless” and “painless” vaccine, we  were told in the Radio news bulletins yesterday that the vaccination total was about to pass 20 million. I saw a newspaper headline on one of the news stands on Saturday proclaiming “All over-40’s to be offered the jab during April.”

Hitchens’ timing on this is very convenient. I don’t think I’d be too far off the mark to suggest the people who read the Daily Mail, and indeed Hitchens’ column, fall into that very bracket the Government have in their sights as their next target. This statement by Hitchens may sway a number of others to "cave-in" where fierce resistance might have been met. An important barrier to be overcome by the government psychologists at SAGE in their perpetual war against the people.

The debate can go on about the why’s and the wherefores... my question is this:

“Has he been got at?”

In my opinion I think this certainly could be the case as he is on one of the few people in the mainstream who have failed to capitulate up to this point.  It is entirely plausible that he may have had pressure from one or a number of sources, perhaps he has been leaned on by his editor at the DM, perhaps someone has “advised him” to recall the fate that became Dr David Kelly 20 years ago and to consider that his actions and words could decide his future.

Certainly something to ponder.

One thing I am certain of is this. Hitchens is a clever man. I know people have criticised him in the past for failing to join the final dots in this whole covid narrative but I always believed he was playing the long game and keeping things “within reason” to allow him to continue to question within the mainstream arena. Maybe I'm wrong, I hear the cries of “gatekeeper” but I’m not convinced, I just think that given how far we’ve come and given how long he’s maintained his stance, to about face now with such a lame reason just strikes me as very strange indeed. Perhaps I would be overthinking things in suggesting this is perhaps a coded message? Is he telling us he’s been got at, and that by proffering such a lame excuse he is alerting us to the fact whilst making the statements that keep his paymasters at bay? An interesting theory to consider, and I’m not sure we’ve heard the last of this.

Remember, this is World War III, an information war, a war on the mind  - and using people like Hitchens as a weapon in achieving the goal will come at small cost to elites running the show.

***Addendum***

Whilst writing this piece, my inbox received the following article from John Wards excellent blog Teh Slog, which I’ll link to here and post in its entirety in the next reply. It’s very interesting ,particularly the comments section (including a reply from Hitchens himself), given what I’ve just written prior to reading it.

Please have a look, it’s worth your attention.

OPINION: the hitches in Peter Hitchens’ self-exculpation

hitchens3.jpg?w=249

Peter Hitchens is growing a beard. Maybe he’s trying to hide behind it. Certainly, in his latest piece for the Mail on Sunday, Hitchens tries very hard to hide behind the rationale for his decision to have the Covid19 jab. But for a man in his position (as a high-profile fighter for freedom) it’s nothing more than a bunch of flimsy excuses, hurriedly cobbled-together to explain his unwillingness to walk and talk at the same time.

Let me start with the holes in his not entirely bullet-proof string vest of philosophical defence.

There is first of all an attempt at WYSIWYG: ‘I have had my first Covid vaccination for wholly selfish reasons. I did not do it for the good of others but for my own convenience. And I will have my second for the same purpose. A very important part of my family now lives abroad and I am deeply tired of not being able to see them’.

‘Je m’accuse’ is all very well as a “forgive me children, for I have sinned” wave of the family virtue flag, but Hitchens is not a private person – nor has this renowned columnist ever refused the bed he has made: to be Pontificate Pilate. On the contrary, he has embraced the role with serial enthusiasm.

Peter’s sense that he is somehow unique in being cut off from his family is telling. For almost everyone I know, this is a shared frustration. But he is “deeply tired”, and so he has decided to give a thumbs-up to the Pharisees demanding crucifixion: Pilate washing his hands before the mob is not a good look.

Hitchens continues, ‘I get the strong sense that any sort of travel, and plenty of other things, will be impossible if I don’t have the necessary vaccine certificate’. Correct….if everyone does what you just did – viz, emotionally bottle out.

Now here’s where his defence does get vomit-inducing in its hypocrisy, (my emphases):

‘….if you think Covid is dangerous, I certainly don’t want to put you off the jab. Indeed, I don’t want to put you off in any way. It’s your business, not mine…..Of course my selfish injection didn’t hurt. I’m a blood donor (so also please don’t call me selfish), used to far bigger needles in my arm, for a lot longer. But I did feel a pang of regret and loss. For me, the vaccination was a gloomy submission to a new world of excessive safety and regulation. I’d tried to fight against it but I lost.’

‘Your business, not mine’. Sorry, but that’s cant of the first order: Hitchens is an opinion former who has chosen Opeds over reportage.

‘Selfish but don’t you dare call me that’….for I am Peter the Rockfist who faints not at the sight of very big needles.

Oh, do fuck off.

‘…a pang of regret and loss’. Just a pang then – after all these months of high-horse riding: is that it?’

‘I tried to fight against it, but I lost’. No, Peter: you scored a spectacular overhead scissor-kick own goal…and thus gave the game away. You let your team down, you let the Home Crowd down, you let liberal democracy down. So regrettably, it falls to people like me to stick a pin in pompous procastination….and watch as your engorged balloon goes fuuurhhhhhhrrrght.

And so I turn to the ‘jab’ itself, the nature of which Peter the Great chose not to discuss or denigrate in his column: for like it or not – while he has deplored the pressure on him to be vaccinated – Hitchens has, by this action, given millions of others the encouragement to ignore the risks of such “vaccination”.

I hope that, on visiting his far-flung family, the Mail on Sunday’s ageing enfant terrible might resolve to read up a bit on some of the more obvious dimensions of Pharmafia above-the-law greed:

  • Their demand to be free from prosecution for any and all damage done to individual citizens or their economies by vaccines exposed to the most superficial safety trials
  • The action of cytokines used in such vaccines to (variously) induce adverse reactions via local inflammation and/or ulceration at the injection sites; become dysregulated and pathological in inflammation, trauma, sepsis, and hemorrhagic stroke; be linked to many disease states and conditions ranging from schizophrenia, major depression, Alzheimer’s disease and cancer

So-called ‘Cytokine Storms’ may yet prove to be yet more alarmist red herrings. But the reality is that, as of now, nobody – not Chris Whitty, Peter Horby, Michael Caine, Peter Hitchens, the Queen, Boris Johnson, Anthony Fauci and least of all Matt Hancock – knows the Truth about the long-term effect of these jabs that neither immunise nor reduce the spread of Sars-Cov2….a virus that has yet to be isolated and photographed in the laboratory.

Peter Hitchens emerges from all this as just another false disciple who chose to collaborate with rigid Pharisees and their Roman masters rather than tread the painful road to greatness.

It’s one thing to grow a beard….but another thing entirely to grow a pair.

Hypothetical question,obviously unconnected.

If you were advised to remember David Kelly and Robin Cook what would you do?

You couldn't speak out or you might be found in an uncomfortable crimescene like David Carradine, which any family would want to bury to avoid embarrassment for your good name and legacy.

You could grow a beard as a subtle indication that coercion was involved.

Talk Radio

After Talk Radio was banned by Youtube and then re-instated, they have become ... very changed.  Cowardly.  Avoiding the big issues.  Hiring less radical interviewees.  Presenting the Government line.

And so where do we arrive at ?

Most human beings are just 2 steps away from taking it up the arse and saying thank you.  They are all fit for nothing but the bottom of the ocean.  Even their complaints are entertainment.

Few people survive death, because few are anything except nothing.

You are better off with Buddha.

This society is evil and everyone is it.

It is a lie from top to bottom.

Forget about the illuminati and the bankers ... it's much deeper than that.

The plane of consciousness is very very low.

Only radical effort will change your consciousness, using the few techniques that have been discovered.

Learn zen and sit 2.5 hours every day, that is the standard for the first 10 years.

Otherwise where will it get to.

Society, yeah well it goes up it goes down, it'll kill you sometime or not.

It'll be as stupid as ever the day you die.

What justice is there?

The corruption is not in the system, it is in the people more or less.

They are the system.

It's such a mess that you simply need God, you need a radical solution.

And you have to work for it.

You can't even judge this place, it's just a messed up world with messed up people doing messed up things.

Your only job is to get yourself out if you can.

That's it.

I've not seen this.... I'll give it a watch later. Cheers.

I find Peter Hitchens to be a total wet blanket (and the way he rolled over like a bitch and took the Covid vaccine proves it). But his brother Christopher Hitchens was a pure firecracker. Intellectual brutality. Exciting to watch.

What did Hitchens say ... that he took the injection because he lost and he is happy to admit it?

W.T.F

What a f-ing loser, a loser a loser a loser.

Christ what a nobody.

He is nothing, like dog shit on your shoe.

He is nobody.

It was a pretty pathetic statement, I must say. Piss poor logic at best.

That was pretty much how I saw it... He's got far too much brains,  plus years of experience, knowledge and research ability to arrive at that conclusion as he did.

And that's why I'm calling it out as I have.

He said something about seeing his family abroad

But he surely must know that even those who are vaccinated are still under lockdown rules. I haven't come across anyone yet who has had the vaccine and can just freely and suddenly roam the earth. As far as I know, all the vaccinated dopes are still just as screwed as the rest of us. So what's the bloody point.

Well he's an ahole, so .... but an ahole with family abroad.   Does it excuse him?

Well you know what, pinning your hopes on an ahole journalist is a bigger problem them him being weak.

You need to pin your hopes on what might actually work.

Like I said, compared to the intellectual force of his brother, he has always been piss weak in my eyes. So none of this surprises me. And honestly, at the end of the day, if he gave his free and informed consent to risking his life with the vaccine, then good luck to him. My personal view is it's pretty bloody stupid to stick that mRNA shite in your system, but so be it. But it's pretty dumb when you do it knowing it doesn't guarantee you'll see your family anyway.

Look what I just dug up, Early life of him and his brother from wiki fupeia

Peter Hitchens was born in Malta, where his father, Eric Ernest Hitchens (1909–1987), a naval officer,[1] was stationed as part of the then Mediterranean Fleet of the Royal Navy. Hitchens had hoped to become a naval officer himself, but an eye defect prevented him from doing so.[2] His mother, Yvonne Jean Hitchens (née Hickman; 1921–1973), committed suicide in Athens[3] in a pact with her lover, a defrocked clergyman named Timothy Bryan.[4] The pair overdosed on sleeping pills in adjoining hotel rooms, and Bryan slashed his wrists in the bathtub.

------------------
Christopher Hitchens was born the elder of two boys in Portsmouth, Hampshire.[12] Even when they were children Christopher never got on well with his brother Peter Hitchens,[13] a Christian and later a socially conservative journalist.[14]

Hitchens's parents, Eric Ernest Hitchens (1909–1987) and Yvonne Jean Hitchens (née Hickman; 1921–1973), met in Scotland when both were serving in the Royal Navy during World War II. Christopher often referred to Eric simply as 'the commander'. ...

Later in life, Hitchens identified as a secular Jew after he discovered his mother was Jewish.[17][18][19] His mother had been a 'Wren' (a member of the Women's Royal Naval Service).[20] His father's naval career required the family to move a number of times from base to base throughout Britain and its dependencies, including to Malta, where Christopher's brother Peter was born in Sliema, Malta in 1951.

...

Hitchens was bisexual during his younger days, and joked that as he aged, his appearance "declined to the point where only women would go to bed with [him]."[27] He claimed to have had sexual relations with two male students at Oxford who would later become Tory ministers during the prime ministership of Margaret Thatcher, although he would not reveal their names publicly.[27]

Hitchens joined the Labour Party in 1965, but along with the majority of the Labour students' organisation was expelled in 1967, because of what Hitchens called "Prime Minister Harold Wilson's contemptible support for the war in Vietnam".[28] Under the influence of Peter Sedgwick, who translated the writings of Russian revolutionary and Soviet dissident Victor Serge, Hitchens forged an ideological interest in Trotskyism and anti-Stalinist socialism.[20] Shortly after, he joined "a small but growing post-Trotskyist Luxemburgist sect".

Stop trusting people in the mainstream. Peter was always a gatekeeper. Anyone who puts this scamdemic down as "incompetence" is a certified gatekeeper.

Mike Graham is another. I remember years ago when forum member Steppewar went on his radio station talking about the Bilderberg group and Mike was an utter, patronising bellend. He started the segment by claiming he had never heard of the Bilderberg group yet later on he said to Steppe, "If it's so secretive then how do you know about them?", to which Steppe replied "Well, you are a mainstream journalist and haven't heard of them" to which Mike Graham replied " of course i have" before going on another abusive rant. Well and truly rumbled.

There's no logic to Hitchens' rationale or defence in choosing to willingly poison his body with an untested gene therapy. But the clue, as @sambaking7mentions, was in his continual assertion that all of this COVID scam was about political incompetence. Nobody except controlled opposition, or a gatekeeper, would come to that conclusion or stick to that belief. That's what made me suspicious even before this latest development.

It's a poor argument, "oh I am an old man and I want to see my family before I die", or words to that effect. It's defeatist, it flies in the face of how he portrays himself as a physically and mentally alert and competent adult. Yet suddenly, with a needle of god-knows-what poised at his arm, with the "promise" of travel to see relatives that apparently cannot be seen any other way but through risking imminent or near-future health issues (even death), he acquiesces?

Nope, makes no sense. It's either an agenda to wear down the public and get them to submit to injections (the timing is all too suspicious), he has been threatened in some way and told to co-operate, or he is a fraud.
