Bee
There are over 66 million people in the UK. Is it just me that finds it beyond depressing that only 220,00 people signed this petition? Is this the 'great awakening'? Even if more people are becoming aware, it means nothing unless they change their behaviours to match their new understanding. Beyond depressing. The link is being 'shadow banned' on the Internet and less people are aware of it than should be..? And / or maybe people are afraid to put their names on a list and be recorded as a dissenter ? A_Grand_Tale_Of_Horror
220,000 thousand. Think about that, imagine that many people stood in front of you. That's more people than the army has. That's 220,000 people losing their jobs because their employer won't let them on site because they are unvaccinated, 220,000 refused access to shops, refused access to the dole (welfare),the nhs care they've paid tax into since becoming working age. 220,000 forced onto the street when they can't pay rent, dying of hypothermia, being raped, assaulted, forced into prostitution, drugs, dying of malnutrition. Maybe 220,000 extra prison spaces which cost 20k per person per year.not to mention all the crime caused by 220,000 people as they try to survive. It might seem like a small number, but when all the above happens you can bet your arse people will notice. All because we want to exercise our right as free humans to not have a corporation force untested chemicals into our one and only body. I am quite encouraged by the number of signatures when you compare it against the number of people who have signed the petition in support of vaccine passports. This petition, specifically asking for vaccine passports for international travel (and not wider restrictions), only has 4,163 signatures at the time of posting - https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/574479. Whereas the petition referred to in the OP objecting to vaccine passports now has 239,966 - a ratio of over 50 to 1. And the petition "prevent any restrictions on those who refuse a Covid vaccine" has even more support with 337,141 signatures - https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/323442. But you are assuming that the 220,000 who have signed the petition wont cave under pressure. You cant possibly assume that.

After a year of all this covid rubbish and lies that figure depresses the hell out of me even when trying to account for other influencing factors.
Seconal
I know 220,000 out of 66 million sounds bad but how many people knew about the petition and how many, once it was known, signed it. Edited March 3, 2021 by Seconal
Mr Chinnery
220,000 divide by 66 million is 0.0033 (not rounded) or 220 / 66 is 3.3 (not rounded)
Seconal
I like Crowley. He sombre but quite funny once you read on through past the prayers and he is an excellent author. 'Diary of a Drug Fiend' is a particularly good book by Crowley. He has that eastern common sense - sense of humour that mystics develop when they see singularly and clearly.
