Seeker
So yoga is something that seems to have divided opinions, naturally I’m interested to learn as much as possible. At first glimpses yoga is a form of exercise, and very good for strengthening the body and muscles. I find it is also good for the mind and connecting to conscious breathing. As like all exercises, I feel great after doing yoga, probably because of the endorphins. Looking a bit deeper into things, some people believe yoga is good spiritually, leading to being more calm in the day. And some people believe that yoga is asking for trouble from dark forces, as the poses attract dark spirits. I don’t know what the true origins of yoga are, and if it is a corrupt discipline or not. I think the infamous Alister Crowley was into yoga, which divides opinions even more. A problem for finding the truth about in depth knowledge is that there’s so many different opinions/ information and disinformation, some deliberate and some intentional. In my experience, I have better days when I do a yoga workout than the days I don’t. I just follow a simple workout from a YouTube channel which will involve focusing on the breath and a minute or two of meditation at the end to calm things down again. Exercise in general makes us feel better in ourselves, for me I’ve had good results with yoga too, daily exercise keeps the body and the mind healthy. Whilst I’m looking at things from a 3D 5 sense point of view, I can’t see how it’s negative at all. But I have very little knowledge about reality beyond the 3D 5 sense world, as I imagine almost everyone else does
