Okay

Not this discussion.

The interaction / discussion when challenged for no mask.

Keep it as short as possible.

No big long winded explanation.

Just state - I AM EXEMPT.

When asked about your exemption, just state - YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ASK ME THAT.

Out of reactions, but this is EXACTLY all you need to say. "I am exempt", and then if still challenged/quizzed "you are not allowed to ask me".

That's exactly it.

I've been 'challenged' twice, admittedly only when using public transport (local buses).

First time was by a Safer Travel revenue inspection team, after showing my valid travel pass I was politely asked if I had a mask I could wear, to which I replied simply "no I don't have to" and presented my 'exemption' card which I keep in my travel card wallet; the inspector just backed off and apologised.

Second time was by some over-zealous driver, who asked me "do you have an exemption?" as I boarded. After scanning my pass, I waved the same exemption card at him, to which he merely grunted "ok then" and looked away.

I'm no legal expert myself but the rules are there in place about 'mandatory face coverings' with exemptions.

As I understand these rules and 'guidelines', you DO NOT have to wear a face covering if you are exempt. But if challenged as to why you are 'not following the rules', all one has to do is to reply 'I'm exempt'.

There doesn't appear to be any provision for having to explain exactly what your exemption is, and any business that refuses you service on the grounds of not wearing a face covering runs the risk of falling foul of Equality Act 2010 discrimination laws.

Of course it shouldn't have to be said, but if challenged, remain calm and polite, no need to get aggressive or hostile, as that doesn't help anyones situation. Especially if you're being challenged by a police officer.

Store guy: "You need to leave if you're not going to wear a mask."

You: "Sure mate, no problem..."

(Pull out your phone and open the Notes app)

You (cont.)... "But before I go, I just need your name and contact details please."

Store guy: "Why?"

You: "Just for my legal records."

Then see where it goes from there 😎

It's the same as a female applying for a job (in Australia at least). It's illegal for a potential employer to ask if you plan on having a baby. You can say, "you're not allowed to ask me that."

I havent worn a mask all the way through this bullshit buddy and i can tell you this:

There is no law on this Planet that can make you wear one, only you giving up your own Sovereignty under pressure, businesses can refuse you for any reason just like if you dont want someone in your property you can ask them to leave and refuse to deal with them [always been this way, nothing new here] but why would you want to shop there if thats their policy anyway, it is obviously a place to boycott forever as i do if/when this happens

Being sovereign means you are your own ruler and nobody is yours, just as you are nobdy elses. Therefore, you can exempt yourself and you do not and should not tell anyone any of your exemption details, hell, they all pretty much know now not to ask for fear of repercussions that are happening.

Even those arseholes driving Buses surprisingly changed their policy of mandatory masks on buses here in the UK a couple of weeks back and they were very staunch about all this before, i refused to use buses until i found this out myself and tested that successfully  the same damn day
