BitChute Content Unavailable Deemed Potentially Illegal Within Your Country By The Moderation Team?

Recommended Posts

I thought Bitchute was all for freedom of what you can watch with out restrictions. Over the past few weeks (it's never happened in the past), I click on videos but unable to watch the video, Deemed Potentially Illegal (JPEG below). What is that all about, why are BitChure Moderates deeming what I can watch? Is anyone encountering this or is there anyway to bypass it?. Thankyou.

Hi HW, I didn't know that ofcom had regulated BitChute, very surprising. I have never heard of HopeNotHate. Just checked them out. Another orgnisation with a particular purpose. You mentioned a VPN. So my question is...there are loads of companies offering VPNs...what can yourself or any other people on this forum that uses a VPN recommend. Much appreciated EW for your info. Thank you to all.

Are you using a PC or laptop ?

Opera browser has a basic but free VPN.

No idea what to use on a phone.

Hi BC, I am using a laptop and firefox as my main browser and chrome to download videos from certain websites. I have heard of a Opera but never looked in to it but will do. I put up the other day on the forum about Windows 10 and the corruption after they put in windows updates. I got suggested operting system Lunix on the last post. So all info is very helpful to me, with regards to VPN, browsers, operation syetem. Much appreciated with info, thank you.

Thanks EnignaticWorld for the info you put up. Wow, so now videos on BitChute is classified as hateful, violent and antisemitic. I would like to know where they found those videos. Never seen any videos like that on BitChute. It looks like that BitChute is going the same way as the other main stream sites with the regulations. I apperciate the info EW. Thank you.

No prob.

Depends what is considered antisemitic or hateful. I haven't seen anyone inciting violence on there though, but I do avoid that kind of stuff.

The Opera browser has a free VPN built in. You just have to switch it on. I think it can be set to 4 different regions - America, Europe, Asia and so forth.

You can just switch to Opera when you need to do something that requires a VPN.

A lot of paid VPN services are CHINESE OWNED. Your browsing data and identity will get shared with the Chinese authorities.

Opera Browser is owned by a Chinese company

A lot of anons say Opera is now a Chinese botnet, but maybe that's just paranoia.

That being said, I don't use Opera or any other free VPNs, but I'm not that bothered if the Chinese harvest my political views, I just don't trust them with my financial info.

Chinese will own everything soon, didn't know that about opera browser.

Which paid vpn would you recommend?

Not sure to be honest. The one I'm currently using is VyprVPN. It has all the features that I want like no logs (supposedly anyway), a kill switch, and they own their own infrastructure so no reliance on third parties. However, the logo is a snake and it's based in Switzerland I think, so I don't trust it that much. It's another VPN that I got a year of cheap in a Humble Bundle, but the year is nearly up so I'm looking for another one myself.

I would advise not getting one from a 5 Eyes nation, Israel or China, but besides them I don't know.

Part of me thinks about getting a VPN from a less developed nation as they might not care about what content I view as much, but then I also think they could be more prone to corruption and harvesting my data.

You asked a good question though, and trusted VPNs is probably something we should be looking into.

Yeah, they have been cucked by Ofcom and groups like HopeNotHate.

You're going to need a VPN, then just select a country that works.

Vpn doesn't seem to work for me

I have always wondered why on earth anyone under 16 was ever allowed on Social Media with the content and predators on them, 18 would be more appropriate but then you wonder how they implement that, yet my Company work Phone doesn't allow me to view Bitchute because it says I need to prove Age because it's restricted to 18+

David Icke Website just comes back with Failure error so totally blocked from it on work phone

Cheers for Info

I use my own phone most of time, not that I like using them, just i have limited data and soon use it up on listening to videos while at work driving, so thought I'll use there's and it's blocked, so it was more just info that they are blocking some of the Truth Sites
