One obvious show was Star Gate. The Original Star Trek had an episode battling a bipedal lizard man, until a spirit entity took over. The Star Trek Enterprise series was full of the multi beings that are addressed by the alt community. I am writing this to suggest a recent TV show that is giving a description of deep cult , it's name is "Timeless".
