rideforever
Dear Lord, I dread to think what people will post here. But here goes anyhow. I sure am tired of the talk of people. Edited January 19, 2021 by rideforever

facere arbitrium
This is a picture of a faulty screen repurposed as found art and used in abstraction to represent flicker rate and layers of reality. The framing is intended to be done by the viewers own screen, making it a dynamic piece which the viewer participates in creating. It's artistic function is to make the viewer question what screen they are looking at, the one in the image or the one in reality? Which screen better represents reality, the abstract image or the screen in reality? And whose eyes are they looking through, their own or the artists, since the artist has conceived the viewers position and involved them in framing the piece within 3 layers of perspective. The description is intended to guide the viewer in how to see the art in contrast to the other works, otherwise it can be misinterpreted as a meaningless load of bollocks that appears to blight the page and detract from the theme of conscious artwork. Mitochondrial Eve
Upper Palaeolithic art from the Chauvet Cave in France dating to around 35,000 to 30,000 years ago. The images are from full-size replicas of the paintings as the actual cave has been sealed off to the public for preservation purposes. It has been suggested that the artists may have practiced a form of shamanism and explored altered states of consciousness and that, even if they were technologically primitive, it doesn't necessarily follow that they were culturally primitive. The images could suggest a deep respect for the animals depicted - for the sustenance they provided and a shared struggle for survival - along with reverence for the forces of nature and spirit.

Kill or be killed. This seems to be the nature of this world. Not easy to move upwards from that whilst being here.
