Tophet was the location of a ritual to Moloch known as 'passing a child through the fire' and has nothing to do with 'handing children over to pagan religions'

Well that document claims that this is what the rabbinical interpretation of it is.

Charred remains of an infant can just mean cremation. You do realise that this has been done throughout centuries?

This is an interesting article, from a Jewish source, discussing the worship of Moloch. While people have been told about children being burnt as sacrifices it seems that Rabbinical traditions seem to think its more about handing over children to pagan religions.

maybe one day someone will say that the nazis didn't ever cremate anyone and that the language was just meant symbolically

Stop trying to take the thread off topic. You want to apologise for the nazis then do it in another thread.

You do realise burial is the far more common form of disposal of the dead over history?

You do realise that cremation, particularly in the middle-east is nearly always associated with pagan rites of human sacrifice.

You do realise cremation in fact was specifically forbidden by the Israelites for this reason.

You do realise I'm practising to see if I can be as pestiferous as you are.

You put up a pic then claim its human sacrifice without a jot of proof. The bible says you dont allow your children to pass through the fire. The rabbis dont think this refer to sacrificing children by fire.

There is some evidence to suggest that the Israelites may have practised human sacrifice themselves and the story of Abraham marked a transition point.

Don't worry, you dont need the practise.

So you admit that you are pestiferous?
