An intranasal flu vaccine used in Switzerland in the 1990s was withdrawn after being linked to cases of facial paralysis. “The safety profile may well turn out to be better for nasal vaccines, but there’s a little bit more of the unknown." But while the media are squeezing every ounce of emotional drama out of that situation, with the police making public their earnest determination to track down all involved, I want to know how many youngsters have been slain with this poison.
