It is very random and I can't see it being allowed to happen, most likely because it was Trump who did it. Wonder if Trump will reveal some stuff out if spite or malice? Spite and malice, oh and self-interested greed, are the most prevalent traits in the US' national psyche

Trump probably did want to reveal something. He was likely told that he cannot do that.

 

So it seems he threw UFO disclosure in a law that Congress did not dare to downvote just before his time was up.

 

180 days from now one of 3 things will happen:

 

1- We see UFOs but don't know what they are (lying in other words)

2- People see UFOs but these are just light tricks and weather phenomena (this one is quite likely)

3- We see UFOs and they are not from our world (probably the truth, but U.S. agencies probably won't say this)

It's not random if we consider the Israeli ex top brass guy talking about a "Galactic Federation". Two possible / probable reasons why this is happening now:

 

1. TPTB are going to pretend we're under threat from ETs (which don't exist, BTW) to somehow crank up / accelerate the control mechanisms further, or,

 

2. It's a sideways threat to China along the lines of "We have ET on our side, so do you really want to go to war with us any time soon?"

The US has been quick off the mark to reveal their UFO files, well at least some of them which have been heavily redacted, which seems odd as the US never reveals anything it doesn't need to or wants to. 

 

That they have done so and with such rapidity is suspicious in itself. It's either an exercise in damage limitation or a selective revealing as a preparatory stage to an inevitable full disclosure, in whatever form of events that may take...

 

If there is (part of me hopes there is) an impending disclosure or event, a subdued and cowed population, already injected with a DNA altering substance, would make the perfect gift to appease an invading extraterrestrial force.

 

We all know the elites would sell us out in a heartbeat to save their own skins
