BBC Criticised For Allowing 50/50 Female Quota to be Filled by Transgender Guests

The BBC is facing backlash over claims that it is “disappearing women” by allowing its 50/50 male and female quota to be filled by transgender guests. The MailOnline has more.

BBC news presenter Ros Atkins is at the centre of a trans row following the corporation’s 50:50 project, an initiative he founded in 2017 that aims to increase the number of women on air and on screen.

The project has seen the BBC increase the salaries of some of its most high-profile women such as Zoe Ball and increase the number of female stars in its shows such as Line of Duty.

Mr. Atkins is accused of “going along with change” after the corporation stated in their latest Equality Project report that “they do not monitor whether a contributor’s gender differs from their sex registered at birth”.

The BBC guidance states: “Content-makers monitor the gender identity of their contributors with the aim of featuring at least 50% women. They do not monitor whether a contributor’s gender differs from their sex registered at birth.

“Where possible, teams also monitor the proportion of contributors who identify as non-binary or genderqueer in order to improve their representation of all genders. This data is not currently reported to 50:50 The Equality Project, but is used by these teams to improve their representation of all genders.“

BBC employees have blasted the corporation for “following Stonewall law” despite ditching the controversial LGBT charity’s Diversity Champion’s programme last year.

It means transgender women who are born male will be counted as females in the corporations 50:50 project that aims to “represent women”.

A senior BBC insider told the Telegraph: “The BBC has now ‘disappeared’ women as a sex class and instead monitors ‘gender identity’. It’s redefined a word which we all understand, without any public debate, and Ros Atkins has gone along with the change.

“In this 50:50 monitoring, the BBC is still following ‘Stonewall law’ in failing to respect sex as as a protected characteristic.”

This quite a dilemma for the, previously quite united front of PC. Do they recognise male to female trans women equally with 'from-birth' women, or as a separate category? Now that traditional feminism has prevailed and become mainstream, it's perhaps inevitable that another division in society is required to prevent too much unity. Otherwise there's the danger that independent power blocks will emerge outside the overlords' control.

There seems to be this prevailing view on the fake-left that in order to get what you want you have to take from other people

If trans people want to be trans then that's fine but why do they have to insist they are women? Why can't they just be their own new category? Why do they need to try and take what belongs to women?

If people want a black british spy movie then fine, go and make one but why do they have to take a white character: james bond and then take it?

They need to stop appropriating things and just make their own things. Its like they WANT to be aggressive and hostile

White -> black = equality, diversity and inclusion.

Black-> white = cultural appropriation, supremacy and racism.

It's the mathematics of multiculturalism.

'cultural appropriation' is a ridiculous term because they are making Tv dramatisations of our history in which they are replacing actual historic, white figures with black actors and actresses so what is that then: HISTORY APPROPRIATION

They are appropriating our history and frankly that is far more sinister than cultural cross-pollination which is usually a sign of admiration of the culture that is being emulated

BBC presenter who sexually abused boy while another man held him down is jailed for eight years

  • BBC DJ John Caine, 69, lured a teenage boy to the studios with backstage passes
  • Caine groped the boy in his car on the way home from BBC Merseyside to Wales
  • The victim said his life is now split into 'before' and 'after' the events in the 1970s
  • Caine was prosecuted for similar offences in the 70s - 90s over a decade ago
  • Judge Petts put him on sex offenders register for life at Caernarfon Crown Court

A BBC radio presenter who sexually abused a teenage boy after luring him to BBC studios with backstage passes has been jailed for eight years.

Former journalist John Caine, 69, was today jailed after being convicted of gross indecency for crimes including sexually assaulting the boy under 16 while another unidentified man held him down.

A court heard Caine used the visits to the BBC Merseyside studio to grope the boy, from Flintshire in North Wales, over his clothing on separate occasions while driving home from the radio station.

Caine, previously of Gower Street in Liverpool, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court today via video link from HMP Berwyn in Wrexham, for sentencing today.

Caine became a trusted friend of the boy's family while he was working as a BBC radio presenter in the late 1970s.

Prosecutor James Wilson said the victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had an interest in the world of broadcasting - so Caine invited him 'behind the scenes'.

So, Paxman quits University Challenge after 28 years. And guess who's taking his place.

Smug little shit Amol Rajan, who is far more powerful and influential within the BBC than most realise, or the BBC themselves let on.

Quelle surprise!

Yes I read this today, who's Amol Rajan ? It's not a program that I watch much, the questions are always to hard for me.:classic_biggrin:

He sort of floats around, essentially some sort of head of media or has a senior role in a department to do with current affairs. But in fact he's far more dominant and influential than that sounds, shaping the BBC's agenda and unsurprisingly behind the push for more and more diversity.

He'll also stand in on fluff like The One Show, to make it look like he's a harmless jobbing presenter.

Trusted News Initiative: Orwellian Global Ministry of Truth

Posted By: Dr. Joseph Mercola August 19, 2022

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

> The Trusted News Initiative (TNI) was founded by the BBC in July 2019. While TNI claims to promote democracy and freedom, its purpose for being is global information control

> Partners in the initiative include global media outlets such as The Washington Post, Reuters, The Associated Press, AFP, the Financial Times and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), and Big Tech partners such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft

> TNI was formed mere weeks after a Reuters Institute report revealed trust in U.S. media had slipped to an all-time low of just 29% — the lowest of the 46 countries included. Clearly, people were going elsewhere for the facts, and that probably had everything to do with the creation of TNI. They have no control over alternative media, so they needed a comprehensive way to shut them all down

> By suppressing information about early treatment and the adverse effects suffered from the COVID shots, TNI partners have played a direct role in the destruction of lives. In short, TNI is the converse of “trusted news.” It is the very “fake news” it claims to combat

> In addition to TNI, Google also has a similar program going on, called the Google News Initiative, which includes a $300 million funding commitment to the future of the news industry. The Google News Initiative is partnered with advertising agencies in a program called Trusted News for Trusted Advertising (TNTA), to ensure advertisers don’t have their ads associated with “false or misleading news,” thereby allowing them to “regain control of the media on which they publish the advertising”

BBC Boasts it Got Vaccine Injured Support Group With 250,000 Members Removed From Facebook

The BBC has boasted that it triggered the removal of a Facebook vaccine injury support group with over 250,000 members.

The BBC has seen several groups, one with hundreds of thousands of members, in which the [carrot] emoji appears in place of the word ‘vaccine’. Facebook’s algorithms tend to focus on words rather than images. The groups are being used to share unverified claims of people being either injured or killed by vaccines.

Once the BBC alerted Facebook’s parent company, Meta, the groups were removed.

“We have removed this group for violating our harmful misinformation policies and will review any other similar content in line with this policy. We continue to work closely with public health experts and the U.K. Government to further tackle Covid vaccine misinformation,” the firm said in a statement.

However, the groups have since reappeared in our searches.

One group we saw has been around for three years but rebranded itself to focus on vaccine stories, from being a group for sharing “banter, bets and funny videos” in August 2022.

The rules of the very large group state: “Use code words for everything.” It adds: “Do not use the c word, v word or b word ever” (Covid, vaccine, booster). It was created more than a year ago and has more than 250,000 members.

Marc Owen-Jones, a disinformation researcher, and associate professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar, was invited to join it.

“It was people giving accounts of relatives who had died shortly after having the COVID-19 vaccine”, he said. “But instead of using the words ‘COVID-19’ or ‘vaccine’, they were using emojis of carrots.

“Initially I was a little confused. And then it clicked – that it was being used as a way of evading, or apparently evading, Facebook’s fake news detection algorithms.”

I wonder if Parliament’s champion of the vaccine injured Sir Christopher Chope has anything to say about this? He is just about to launch a new All Party Parliamentary Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Damage.

The BBC helpfully explains that the ONS stated the risk of fatal vaccine injury last year – thus implying these people must all be wrong, or at least ought not to be allowed to talk to one another.

In 2021 data from the Office for National Statistics suggested that there was a one in 5 million risk of dying from the Covid vaccine, compared with a risk of 35,000 deaths per five million of dying from Covid itself, if unvaccinated.

Even if we assume, for the sake of argument, these figures are correct, they are not broken down by age and only cover deaths not injuries. A recent study by Dr. Peter Doshi and colleagues found that in the vaccine trials the vaccines were more likely to cause serious injury than prevent it. A recent paper from Oxford, Harvard and Johns Hopkins Universities similarly found that in young adults aged 18-30 the vaccines were 18-98 times more likely to cause serious injury than prevent it. The BBC and Facebook, on the other hand, don’t believe that these injuries exist, or at least that the injured should be allowed to speak to one another and seek mutual support.

Is that why these people pay their licence fee – so the BBC can go round banning their support groups?

The BBC are conducting a discreet 'campaign' right under our noses ...

I was making a YouTube video on apostasy when I noticed that the BBC webpage I was using had 'campaign=KARANGA' added onto the end of its URL, so I did a quick search and this is Karanga's webpage: https://karanga.org

Of course, another ungodly globalist organisation and a bunch of child grooming and Christian hating psychopaths.

There is no information available disclosing that the BBC are wielding this 'campaign' so they are doing it without the knowledge or consent of the British public who fund them.

Type into your search engine 'BBC karanga' and it will give you results of the webpages it has added the 'campaign' to.

Just look at some of the faces of Karanga:

Just had a look at their mission statement:

Our Mission

To inspire and equip practitioners, policy makers and researchers from across the world to promote quality and equitable Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills through initiatives that connect, coordinate, and drive action.

If that's not a perfect example left lib social justice common purpose drivel I don't know what is. I'd be interested to see if they have any links with BBC Media Action, another BBC subversive change agent organisation masquerading as a charity.

The BBC’s Connections to the Conservative Party, and Unit 8200 Infiltrating Social Media, with Alan MacLeod

Rishi Sunak is Britain’s new prime minister. Sunak was not elected, even by Conservative Party members, who, just weeks earlier, had chosen Liz Truss. However, she was immediately turned upon by senior party members.

Sunak is the darling of the establishment, chief amongst it the British state broadcaster, the BBC. In 2020, the BBC presented him as a literal superhero, describing him as the chancellor who would “save the country’s economy.” In reality, government incompetence over COVID, Brexit and sanctioning Russia wrecked the economy, leading to rampant inflation and a pressing cost of living crisis affecting all Britons.

For this latest episode of “The Watchdog”, Lowkey again talks to Alan MacLeod, this time about the BBC’s extremely close links to the ruling Conservative Party. While often criticized by right-wingers as a bastion of liberalism, a multitude of top BBC executives and directors are directly linked to Toryism. For example, BBC chairman Richard Sharp was a senior adviser to many top Tories, including both former prime minister Boris Johnson and Sunak himself. Sharp has also donated at least £400,000 to the party.

Meanwhile, as MacLeod noted, the BBC’s former head of political programming, Robbie Gibb – the brother of a Tory cabinet minister – left the broadcasting corporation to become the director of communications for Conservative prime minister Theresa May.

Alan MacLeod is Senior Staff Writer and Podcast Producer for MintPress News. He has worked at the company since 2019. Before joining MintPress, he was an academic and a freelance journalist specializing in Latin America and in analyzing media and propaganda. His latest article, “The BBC-to-NATO Pipeline: How the British State Broadcaster Serves the Powerful,” explores how the United Kingdom’s state broadcaster is nowhere near as independent as it insists it is.

A dangerous unit

In the second half of the podcast, the pair discuss MacLeod’s latest findings on Israeli military surveillance organization Unit 8200. In a new investigation, MacLeod found that hundreds of former Unit 8200 agents have been appointed to influential positions in some of the biggest and most influential Silicon Valley tech and communications companies. This includes Google, Amazon, Twitter and Microsoft. There, they oversee much of these companies’ development and security.

This is an alarming finding because, as is well-documented, Unit 8200 has carried out massive spying operations on Palestinian citizens, compiling sensitive information such as medical records and sexual histories, and used it to blackmail and extort them. Its graduates are also responsible for designing many of the most controversial and invasive hacking tools ever created, including the infamous Pegasus spyware that was used to eavesdrop on tens of thousands of politicians, journalists and activists across the world.

Watch or listen to this interview exclusively at MintPress.

Lowkey is a British-Iraqi hip-hop artist, academic and political campaigner. As a musician, he has collaborated with the Arctic Monkeys, Wretch 32, Immortal Technique and Akala. He is a patron of Stop The War Coalition, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Racial Justice Network and The Peace and Justice Project, founded by Jeremy Corbyn. He has spoken and performed on platforms from the Oxford Union to the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury. His latest album, Soundtrack To The Struggle 2, featured Noam Chomsky and Frankie Boyle and has been streamed millions of times.

Anyone catch that disgusting hit piece last night on Trump? Here's a link if you can stomach the blatant bias and propaganda. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001d1s8

One tactic is using carefully selected nobodies to caricature the most extreme position of Republicans  (esp in regards to the abortion debate), tying that in directly with Trump's philosophy and then of course that sets up some batshit Democrat canvasser nobody to say that the right have been going more extreme in recent years when of course it's the left.

No one credible to talk about election fraud either, and none of the evidence looked at. Put some dark music alongside angry Trump supporters or Antifa plants, and voila you've spunked out a 2 minute hate video for the normies.  I'd complain to the bbc about the bias, but for one it wouldn't do anything, two it would probably put me on a list, and three as my partner rightly pointed out, by doing so i'd be buying into the polarization they're trying setting up with these programmes.  And four, i still want a credible explanation for warp speed, so i couldn't even call myself a Trump supporter.
