Do you consider yourself a "conspiracy theorist"?

I recall seeing possibly the second Wogan vs David Icke interview where David remarked how awful it is people will laugh at those of us who think apart from convention.

Last year, I was mocked and jeered on a forum when I explained I believe the Bible originated from Sumerian texts. I added I believe God to have been a group of astronauts. This was Zecharia Sitchin's view and, later on, Christien and Barbara O Brien. Anyway, the onset of mockery took me by surprise. Members (and it was a science forum), competed to see who could get the most laughs. The moderators apparently encouraged the whole circus and never remarked it seemed a bit unfair to gang up behind numbers. Knowledge-wise, I defended my position logically. However, I left the forum and was surprised by the hostility.

Despite all that, I'm not sure if I'm a conspiracy theorist. I suppose the ancient astronaut theory is similar to Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, however. Apart from that, I don't tend to follow views where secret groups get together and arrange an elaborate con. I always figured you'd only need one whistle-blower. However, many others with an interest in UFOs will speak at length of area 52 or hidden spacecraft. My old girlfriend used to talk a lot about Coast To Coast on TV which was about cover-ups.

Question. Are you a conspiracy theorist? Do others view you as a conspiracy theorist!

The term "conspiracy theorist" was brought about by the scum at the CIA, the term was invented to discredit anyone who questioned the official narative of the JFK assasination.

I really don't give a damm about their idiotic labels, I will never label myself, all I care about is the truth.

I always believed that the term ' Conspiracy Theorist'  is a dismissive term used by those who are mentally dulled against those who have an active curiosity and imagination for the weird and wonderful in the world.  People who use that term towards me are usually folks who think they are intelligent and informed -  but are sadly not. I do not consider myself as a conspiracy theorist, but I do research conspiracies - as a lot of them are worth looking into. Many so called conspiracy theories have been shown to be conspiracy fact. Too many people do not research their ' belief system' and take the surface mutually agreed definition of whatever,  because they are in fact too lazy, too arrogant or too stupid to go any deeper. Ridicule is their defence against something that they realise they know nothing about. They have numbers on their side to back up their assumptions, but they only reveal how ignorant they really are in my view.

I have had a good few UFO experiences, and the few folks I have shared my truth with, humour me with feigned belief. They have not come right out and called me a tin foil hat wearing nut job,  but i'm sure they think it. However, the biggest blowback, is when I have tried to discuss the 'covid conspiracy' . People it seems, will tolerate conspiracy theories as long as it is something that has generally been ridiculed in the media , but more fool you if you try to discuss the 'in you face' conspiracy unfolding at the current time.  It is easier for them to take the mainstream line, than for them  to look and question the conventional  narrative.

So yes, Iam called and seen as a conspiracy theorist, but I do not think of myself as one. I see myself as a truth seeker and I feel sorry for those who have no creativity of thought or the ability to to grow with what they learn.

No, i just analyse stuff.

Its called being an "analyst".

I totally agree conspiracy theorist is a derogatory term, meant to marginalise people gov and media do not want people to listen too. For me, anyone who uses that term, is a person who never found out nothing by themselves in life, and assume no one else has either. Most people are just repeaters, and they assume all people are like this.

I just ignore it.

People that use terms, and words like conspiracy theory, coincidence, common sense are just people who have no idea what these terms or words mean.

Tell me how is there common sense? What does that even mean?

People use all these terms, and words, and have no idea what they even mean. I just ignore anyone who says anything about common sense, just as much as anyone saying things like coincidence, or conspiracy theory(theorist).

Next time someone talks about common sense, can you ask them what they hell does that even mean?

If there was common sense, then why do we have the police, or military to enforce rules or laws?

There is no such thing as common sense.

These terms are just ways people wash away ideas, or arguments with buzz words, because they are just too idiotic to have a reason why they disagree.

I view myself, as an "Analyst".

Thats what i do, as with many others. We analyse what ever, to the best of our knowledge, and instincts, like any other people analysing anything.

That might not have been the best way to put it ... The Annunaki passed themselves off as "Gods" ..(Elohim) . They were twice the size of humans , flew around in space craft , had advanced tech , so understandably the humans fell for it.

But that does not reflect on the existence or otherwise of God ... It comes down to whether you believe the official story that life came about by evolution , or you believe in intelligent design behind it all (God).

Certainly all religions were corrupted and confused by the controllers as soon as they appeared.

I have no problem with the term Conspiracy Theorist   ... it accurately describes what we believe , that there is a conspiracy at the heart of society ... Most people believe in the theory that life and society  is what they are told.

The normal normal is when you feeling or acting rationally (its the opposite of inanity ) or for shortness  just normal will do

And common sense is sound and prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or fact

Buddha called it rigjht mind so when in doubt refer to him.

Not very much M... Two of the psychopathic Annunaki trash that came here to enslave us ... these two depictions show what they must look like . Very human in appearance but around twice our height... The humans have their hands tied behind their backs ...

So now they have disappeared from sight  , left their elite bloodline apparently in control , but they are very close by and they decide how things unfold on planet Earth . The Cabal just follow their orders.

Fair enough Oz, I just watched this yesterday which gives a different perspective to what you are saying, not that what you are saying is not on point, but there's potentially another side to the story:

Best book to read is now a bit of a collector's item so not cheap. "The Genius Of The Few" by Christien O Brien. He also published his translation of Genesis (the first part) where "Elohim" was restored to its grammatical plural form, meaning "gods". The Sumerian term for a god is apparently "El" from which we get "elf". At any rate, the Sumerian creation account as we know was based on "gods" and not a single God. My own theory is that Moses witnessed an event that he interpreted in tribal terms to his people. The reported fact the Hebrews were washing their bodies at the foot of mount Sinai, to me suggested radiation. Maybe it was simpler to inform the people "there is only one God". You should be able to see the Christien and Barbara O Brien interview on YouTube.
By the way, I have never claimed these ideas to be total fact. I originally suggested it as more credible than standard religion. Something that could be closer to truth.

I guess also my theory is not simply extraterrestrial. I was thinking life on earth may just have come from a closer planet. Thus, the Genius Of The Few and Garden Of Eden with the associated gods. All explained by religion. In fact, to my mind, a suggestion life may have started from a neighbouring planet isn't such a huge jump. Despite that I was totally ridiculed at the time.
O Brien by the way studied Sumerian. His translation of Genesis has lots of linguistic footnotes. Many words had varied possible translations and you need a bit of Akkadian to assist, as well as Hebrew.

It depends on what side you're on. I may theorize about conspiracies whilst they are fooled by them.

At times we may be off the mark (Flat Earth), but at all times they are fooled.

We should all come to terms with who we are and which side we are on. Are we 'renegades' or 'slaves' and know now that the fight for souls is over, now he comes not to bring peace but to bring a sword, to divide the wheat and the chaff and seperate those from fire and water.

Stop trying to reason with and argue as the lines are drawn and the Earth divided, it's time to stand.

Those who are not willing to die for freedom do not deserve it.

Funnily enough, Nikola Tesla was likewise a "conspiracy theorist". His main conflict started after he claimed to have heard an extraterrestrial language on his invented radio. He was widely mocked - the father of AC supply. And the Tesla Coil. Marconi, however, didn't mock Tesla.
It's been said a good scientist needs to be a bit cranky. Like a science fiction writer. When I discovered Tesla I was quite encouraged because he suffered chronic OCD, sensory anomalies and was quite off-resonance with normality. I liked H.G. Wells as well.
O Brien is worth reading. He started out as an oil rep in Iran and there saw weird archeology sites. Learned Sumerian out there.

I like the description 'truth seeker' I also think people who see through the bullshit are on a more simplistic level, realists. They are not conned by veils and smokescreens thrown over us to obscure the reality of what is happening.

I consider it self-evident that we live in an elitist society, and I consider it remarkable when people are determined to believe otherwise, or to claim that this has occurred by accident. Those that busy themselves with their everyday lives and don't question anything, I understand. Those that are apologists for the indefensible, while not benefiting from it directly, I don't understand.

I suppose classic conspiracy theory would be Apollo never happened. It strikes me as a bit overly skeptical. The theme was raised in the movie Interstellar where future schools were teaching Apollo never happened. And yet, the USSR were very close. Even closer in the 1980s. I guess what I'm saying is the classic conspiracy is when a group of manipulators get together and plot a staged event. A very early example would be the King and his invisible suit. The swindlers fooled the King and an entire population. P.S plz don't take offence by any of this. It was intended to be a break from Covid which was getting a bit depressing. Thought I'd just talk about conspiracy.

Can't quite recall the linguistic details but Christien O Brien suggested that "heavens and earth" could be translated "high and low terrain". The Hebrew "Elohim" was used by Hebrews as both singular and plural. So, the gods cultivated the high and low lands. What happened was Genesis originated from Sumerian creation mythology. The giveaway in Genesis itself is "let us make man in our likeness" which was impossible to translate into singular in that particular case. Getting in deeper, the account of angels interbreeding with females comes straight from Sumerian accounts.
I don't quite see this as conspiracy theory but more lost ancient history. Our modern religion draws upon what Moses related to his people. The Bible states how these people watched smoke and fire at the summit of mount Sinai and many fainted in fear. It makes sense to assume Moses would have simplified his communications to his people. So, there is one god. Just follow these basic rules.
Possible alternative to religion? Homo Sapiens was an experiment made possibly by those who came from a nearby planet. Possibly quite similar biologically. Legends of gods and polytheism was a legacy of lost ancient history. To really get into it you need to look at Genesis alongside Sumerian creation mythology. There are definite parallels. Although it may sound outlandish, even more so is the idea of a six day creation. And it is for me just a theory based on very distant and murky creation myths. Sumerian still is only partly understood.

I believe genetically we predate Eden and Genesis is the story of our captivity and manipulation of our dna by a evil creator. I believe we were created as a mutant slave race. Lilith was Adams first wife and cast out of Eden for wanting equality. She then comes back to Eden as the serpent and seduces Eve into eating the apple. Eve in turn gives the apple to Adam and they are all cast out of Eden. But was the serpent right to eat the apple. Were Adam and Eve merely captives in the garden of Eden. Experiments of an evil God. A judgmental God. The God of the Garden of Eden being a false God and not the God of Love Jesus talks of. That this world is the realm of Satan, and he keeps us trapped here by pretending to be God so we loose faith. But our true God is unconditional love as taught by Jesus. This world is in fact hell.

I don't really care if that makes me a conspiracy theorist
