Does anyone know why David went from believing he was Jesus to not believing in Jesus and Christianity or if there's anything to listen to where he describes that transition of thought in his experience?

I know some people find that stage in his life a little wacky or funny if they're viewing it superficially, but I reckon that's likely a really common experience for people going through spiritual development.

I interpret that as part of a process in dissolving the ego. A defense mechanism to re-enforce some sense of egoic identity. Seems like a natural response to relate oneself to that image whilst in a state of elevation. Works both ways too, like when a person relates themself to worthlessness in depression and when they look in a mirror they see something worthless in themself.

He didn't believe that he was Jesus nor was he a Christian, but in a confused, semi-hypnotised state he said things that were interpreted by the mainstream media to be so. He started to break free from his 'Turquoise period' in 1992 and wrote of that change in 1993 books: "Days of Decision" and his autobiography "In The Light of Experience".

As a modern Christian (fit the Re:1 group) I have no love for false Christians and their insane false doctrines. By 'false' I mean the ones that can be shown to be in opposition to the very book they say is holy.  The 1611KJV is mocked by false Christians because of how accurate it is rather than it is a shoddy translation.

My personal POV is from a futurist/literalist perspective, you develop that from reading and understanding what you are reading. Practice is taking what (supposedly) educated men have to say about a set of text that were published 2,000 years ago and are still a complete mystery to those same 'experts'. An 'expert' that lies to his 'clients' is the only person that will never be able to change no matter the mountain of facts that point to him being in error.

The test for Gentiles is to read the 4 Gospels like Peter had a few Gentiles do in Acts:10 and answer 'Yes.' to the question about the doubting Thomas story being a rael event or not.  That's it, the rest of the text is about 'other things'. Ge:1-3 and Re:20-22 is a summation of the beginning and end of this earth and a bit about God as He is the one who authored the whole book. The rest of the text in the book is all related to the two bruises from Ge:3:15. That is the topic that should be talked about when 2 or 3 people interested in God should talk about.

The 'Vatican' and all other Christian related Institutions' were created to be the bank of the Gentiles that runs on the same foundation found in the OT. 'Gentiles' are 'brothers' rather than 'strangers' like we are today. Usury is applied to loans taken by 'Corporations' (strangers) or by individuals who have a yearly income that is higher than a banker takes home (when money is deemed to be an essential service rather than a 'for profit private business for a handful of men'. Other than Wall St turning to dust it would be a seamless transition.

To have the Christian Churches (the RCC in particular) deemed to be a 'revived Roman Empire' that is the only danger to Israel and her new friendship with a few OPEC nations in the area would end what Rabbis are already calling 'false Churches' to the point of being 'anti-semetic' (Tenak Talk vids at the moment) for the way they have altered the text.  The good news is the same Bible that is used against false Christians can be used against them as the NT has the timeline and sequence list that God did not give Daniel.

I prefer to watch that unfold without commenting on it for the most part, their old vids I saw as 'fair game' but it is their current shows that really push the envelope about how misguided Gentiles are and how smart Jews alone are. Maybe I'll sign off as 'Noah' if I comment on any more of their vids.

I like the 'problem/reaction/solution' series the best. Lizards would be fallen angels, not sure that connection was ever made in a rational way.

If I was to make his path similar to some servant of God in the Bible it would be Neb. when God had him exile the sinful Jews from the land God promised them (under certain conditions) God put Daniel there to help with that 'servant' part but Da:4 shows he was a firm believer in God before he reached the age of 120.  David could be exposing liars of some sort, God hates all liars, especially the ones that lie about who He is and who He isn't.  Better to say ''I'm not convinced yet.' as the gathering process is part of his book.

When I first read the Book of Job I found it to be very confusing, at best. A decade later I had read a lot more of the other parts of the Bible so that book was 'not as' confusing and a decade after that I could relate to all parts of it as far as remembering where the same topic was mentioned in other parts of the Bible. Today the people that hate me the most are 'false Christians' for obvious reasons and OT only Jews as I can mesh a lot of the NT and OT together that they cannot form a rebuttal for using the book so my right to open the book in the first place becomes the topic instead.

If OT only Jews help the 'Christian false doctrines' take root so they could come along later and act as heroes by knocking  them down when they are the cause of it all as part of a lie that never ends.

I Am The(sinless and guiltless) Son of God. The Truth of All Reality Is That. Anything else is illusion=nothing and nowhere. Momentary mental masterbation.

They mock me. They doubt me. They bear false-witness against me. They Know not The Truth. They are blind, delusional, hallucinaters seeing things and believing things that are not.

They Will Awaken, they Will re-member. They Will be released from nightmares of nothingness. That Is their True Will, by God, there is no other. The experiment of something outside of Reality is expired already. The end of time and dreams of separation is inevitable.

Some who have such experiences go on to be gifted and highly intuitive people.

My intuition currently tells me you are not posting on this forum from anywhere in the UK.

Because he looks at religion and knows what that means.

He also doesn't know who gave him the information.

The Lord is not in a religion.

Religion means to bind in bonds.

The Lord is the truth which sets you free.

EL Elyon gave him this knowledge.

David Icke is the witness on the left

He is Isaiah the one first comes to put things right.

All religion is satanism.

The truth is peace.

i don't think he ever said he was jesus....

I think he was saying that he had had a spiritual awakening

Jesus wasn't called 'christ'. Christ was a titled conferred to him to show that he had been born into spiritual life

It seems that Dave was a christian of some sort, but not in the mainstream kind. David has said he is a channel for the christ spirit too.

Its also known that he was a follower of Alice Bailey and the ascended masters at some point. A lot of his early beliefs were basically the same as most new agers.

David Icke shares his consciousness with the author Philip K Dick.

I just rewatched the infamous Wogan interview before commenting. David talks about the state of the world at that time, a world enslaved for 12000 years by Lucifer. He talks much about Jesus and makes predictions of earthquakes and tsunamis that he claims will start that year (1991). He also claims Saddam Hussein was dead at that time. He answers that he does believe he is the son of god and wears turquoise as the colour of love and the spirit of the godhead. He also says thoughts are projected telepathically.

Much of what David said about the world rings true today and there were some major disasters in the following years. Saddam Hussein was eventually executed as well. As for Jesus, David has moved away from Jesus in recent years reflecting more on spirituality. Whatever David went through in his awakening led him initially to god and Jesus. Over the years that connection appears to have been lost.

As I was mentioning earlier the giants in the OT should have eyes that looked like their fathers, the fallen angels.  The global system they had in place was similar to what the money-changers were before 70AD. They would have escaped with all the gold BTW.   It takes more from the poor than it does the rich in it's basic form, it is far from being dead and gone.

Terry Wogan: The press claim that you claim to be the son of god

David Icke: Umhum

Terry Wogan: Is that true

David Icke: Yes, you see the thing is that, its quite funny really you know, 2000 years ago had a guy called Jesus sat here and said these same things you would still be laughing...

But what is David saying yes to? Yes, that the press were writing about him, or yes, that he's the son of god?

I see what your saying. The press at the time took it to mean that he was saying he was the son of god but looking at it again he does not necessarily mean that. I actually find most of what David says in this interview very true, about the world, about our thoughts.

It's so many years ago but I don't remember him saying he was Jesus? I thought he said he was the son of god and when questioned by Wogan he continued "we are all children of god" I'm sure he said something to that effect.

I don't believe in God per se anyway, I believe God was actually an alien and the people of that time were so 'spaced out' by its power and technology that they worshipped it as a God.

Jesus, I don't know about but I do know one thing, David Icke has spent the better part of his life to this point trying to help humanity, if that isn't something a saviour would do I don know what is?

Far more people have claimed that they are God themselves, or can become God. It's a common theme across the globe in religions. It's the ignorance of the public and the circumstances of exposure that David got singled out. Many people have such beliefs, David just happened to be on the screen. I've never thought much of it.

David Icke is a "son" of the Creator, as much as we are all "sons" and "daughters" of the Creator. - symbolically

David Icke is also a "sun" of the Creator in terms of the amount of knowledge-energy that he has channeled and is currently channeling.

- bringing Light into the equation

nowhere in that interview does he claim to be "jesus" / the messiah though
