kestrel
I declined to register onto the electrol roll, and I declined to participate in the 2021 Census. They have now given up on harrassing me. Stick to your guns people... Corporations operate under contract law, and if you never contract with then they are fucked and you win everytime. They will send you threats, but those are short term. I was also threatened with £1,000 find for not registering onto the electrol roll - they sent around their fear mongering zombies in their face nappies and flurocent jackets - they were informed I will not contract with them, and off they scuttle to their hole. I guess they given up on me. Lulz.

CosmoGenesis
Anyone had any more visits? I have had two knocks at the door today, one at 18.40 pm, I'm suspecting its census goons as nobody else knocks. Knocking at tea time is proper sneaky, similar to what TV license goons do. Anise
Can anyone please help me out here. Somebody said to me that I am wrong to say that using the crown motif is illegal because it is not a Crown commissioned document. They then showed me this link and argued that it would be illegal if the civil servants didn't use it and refers to the Crown copyrights and database rights 2020 OS100019153. https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/information-management/re-using-public-sector-information/uk-government-licensing-framework/crown-copyright/ Can somebody clarify here please as it's important I know what I'm talking about? Is this because Parliament appears to have deposed the Queen as of October 2019 and so they aren't acting for her, rather for Serco and Leidos?
annie bee
Anyone know when all the contracts of the higher ups enforcing non compliance end? I remember it was some time in early to mid July but I cannot remember the date. I believe that is the date that if you have had no threats of court action & have not spoken to them face to face or given a 'hard refusal' you are "safe" as it were. Anti Facts Sir
And on it goes... Now we have a "Shape Tomorrow" survey. Again it appears to be compulsory...with a "visit" from the team if you don't (or can't) take part. https://www.ons.gov.uk/surveys/informationforhouseholdsandindividuals/householdandindividualsurveys/findingyourstudy/shapetomorrow They will be hearing from me, but not in the way they perhaps wanted. It says it's a voluntary survey, but I won't be taking part anyway!
Anti Facts Sir
Just now, RobSS said: It says it's a voluntary survey, but I won't be taking part anyway! The letter they send out states that you will be contacted by their team if you don't take part. Which is nice.

Which is nice. On the page you linked to it says, Quote Do I have to answer all the questions? Answering the questions is voluntary. If you do not want to answer some or any of the questions, you do not have to. Please answer as many questions as you can, to ensure that your experiences and circumstances are counted. But you know what some people are like. If it's from the gov they think it's compulsory! lol
Anti Facts Sir
I'll dig the letter out later and quote the bit about being chased up if you don't do it. My poor mother doesn't need to be worrying about some tw*t hassling us at the door.

It's like people who said you needed to to have some sort of official documentation to prove exemption from having to wear a mask. They talked bollocks! lake
Interesting interactive map with all the supposed data right down to individual postcodes it would seem (just scroll in on the map) .... lots of different information covered! https://www.ons.gov.uk/census/maps/choropleth Lets just say that you can find a great deal of information about an area if you were considering moving there!
Anti Facts Sir
We (ie my folks) are still getting stuff from Kantar in the post, trying to bribe them with shopping vouchers to take part in more nosey business. Were Kantar the ones who the gov hired to do the census?
