Is this one being processed by Lockheed Martin again or they just gonna give it straight to the Cocaine Import Agency? But getting back on topic, I had the Census letter in the post at the weekend, and I went online and completed it in less than ten minutes. I totally get why some people might be opposed to this, but it does (supposedly) serve a purpose, and to be honest I wasn't giving away any more information than is probably already known about who I am and where I live. Maybe its different for me because I live by myself and I am pretty confident there will be no 'visitors or guests' staying here on Sunday 21st March. Funny to think in another 100 years, if the house is still standing, someone will be able to look on the census and see us tenants and also all the others before them if they want to. But, for those not comfortable with not filling it in, Save Our Rights have come up with a suggestion about completing the census and creating a new form of religious or philosophical belief called "Freedom". If over 250k people did this, then "Freedom" would become a recognised belief system which could be protected against discrimination. I have just opened my invitation letter and it says that you can request a paper form at www.census.gov.uk. Perhaps that would give more free rein for what you enter into the boxes? I have just requested one just to see what it looks like - it asked for my name so I just entered "Householder" and that was accepted.
