Covid Conflicts of Interest

Recommended Posts

Hi shipmates,

can you please assemble examples of conflicts of interest relating to this whole covid hysteria as it would be interesting to gather them into one thread so that we can truely see the scope of the corruption guiding government strategy.

We are hearing all kinds of experts in their fields speaking on platforms like talk radio eg Prof Henighan, Dr Yeadon, Dr Lee, Dr Wodarg, Sumption (ex supreme court judge), Dr Bakhdi etc and we have seen over 35,000 doctors and scientists sign the great barrington declaration which was itself created by three epidemiologists from leading universities whose perspectives have all been swept aside by this small group of 'experts' in the governments SAGE team that contains many people who are not scientists such as the people from the 'behavioural insights team' (psychological manipulation)

So the entire country is being lead by a small cadre of people ignoring the growing body of dissent from the wider scientific community and they are only getting away with this because the corporate media is not giving a platform to those voices thereby preventing the public debate that needs to happen

So lets explore why the financial incentives for this small cadre to dogmatically ignoring everyone else....

Bill Gates gives £200 MILLION to the 32 individuals in the UK vaccine council. This guys breaks down what each person has been paid by bill gates

Ian Hudson the CEO of the MHRA regulatory body that is currently rubber stamping all of these experimental vaccines so that they can be deployed against the british public stepped down from his position and became bill gates senior advisor so that he could advice gates how to navigate through britains regulatory system (revolving door! This would be like the farmer going to work for the fox to advise him how he can find his way into the henhouse!)

Firm ‘linked to Matt Hancock’s family’ given £5,500,000 mobile testing contract

author image Siba Jackson

Friday 11 Dec 2020 4:30 pm

A firm believed to have links to Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s family has been awarded a £5.5million contract to provide mobile coronavirus testing units. A deal was struck with EMS Healthcare, whose chairman Iain Johnston is said to be a former business contact of Hancock’s mum and stepdad, Shirley and Robert Carter, the Byline Times reports. Details of the deal, published yesterday, show the company, based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, was awarded a contract for £5,462,150 to supply the testing units to the Department of Health and Social Care. The contract began on September 15 this year and is due to end on September 14, 2021.

‘My Little Crony’ map shows web of deals between Government, MPs and Tory donors

author image Sian Elvin

Friday 13 Nov 2020

An MP has called for a public inquiry after a web of connections between Tory politicians and companies being awarded Government contracts was uncovered. The ‘My Little Crony’ map shows how large numbers of contracts have been handed out to Conservative Party political donors, family members and employers during the coronavirus pandemic. It uses reporting from the Byline Times, openDemocracy and other outlets to visually reveal what it calls the ‘scale of cronyism’ in Number 10. For example, it was reported in September that Globus (Shetland) Limited, which has donated more than £400,000 to the Conservatives since 2016, won a £93.8 million Government contract for the supply of respirator face masks. Shadow Commons leader and Walsall South Labour MP, Valerie Vaz, called on the Government to publicly investigate the contracts awarded and their connections to the Tories. Ms Vaz said: ‘I don’t know if [Mr Rees-Mogg] is aware of the interactive map “My Little Crony”, which has been created by Sophie Hill. ‘I raised all of the contracts that have been handed out to those connected to the Tory party last week and I didn’t get an answer – but it is well worth a look. ‘Because [Mr Rees-Mogg] will know that I think it might be time for a public inquiry, particularly on the £670,000 that has been allocated by the vaccine tsar for public relations.

Press release

MHRA awarded over £980,000 for collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organisation

MHRA today announced a partnership worth over £980,000 to improve the safety monitoring of medicines in low and middle-income countries.

Published 15 December 2017
From: Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organisation that aims to extensively improve the safety monitoring of medicines in low and middle-income countries (LMIC).

New medicines and vaccines, for diseases such as malaria and HIV, may be introduced for the first time in LMIC’s where there are weak or no regulatory systems in place for effective safety monitoring.

WHO and the Gates Foundation have launched ‘Project Smart Safety Surveillance’ (also known as Project 3-S) to help LMIC’s identify, assess, and adequately manage the risks associated with new products. MHRA will be joining this initiative to bring regulatory expertise to the project. This will be for a 3-year period where it is intended to run three pilot exercises in different LMIC settings.

Dr Ian Hudson, Chief Executive Officer at MHRA said:

We are delighted to be involved in such an important global initiative. New drugs and vaccines are being brought to the market for the first time in public health programmes in settings where the safety monitoring and regulatory systems need strengthening. The expertise we can bring to the project will help national safety monitoring centres identify risks and benefits early and take appropriate regulatory action to support global heath.

Can We Trust the WHO?

Global Research, April 25, 2020

WHO’s SAGE Still Conflicted

Despite the huge 2009-10 conflict-of-interest scandals linking Big Pharma to WHO, today the WHO under Tedros has done little to clean out corruption and conflicts of interest.

The current WHO Scientific Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) is riddled with members who receive “financially significant” funds from either major vaccine makers, or the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BGMF) or Wellcome Trust. In the latest posting by WHO of the 15 scientific members of SAGE, no fewer than 8 had declared interest, by law, of potential conflicts. In almost every case the significant financial funder of these 8 SAGE members included the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck & Co. (MSD), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance (a Gates-funded vaccine group), BMGF Global Health Scientific Advisory Committee, Pfizer, Novovax, GSK, Novartis, Gilead, and other leading pharma vaccine players. So much for independent scientific objectivity at WHO.

Gates and WHO

The fact that many of the members of WHO’s SAGE have financial ties to the Gates Foundation is highly revealing, even if not surprising. Today the WHO is primarily financed not by UN member governments, but by what is called a “public-private partnership” in which private vaccine companies and the group of Bill Gates-sponsored entities dominate.

In the latest available financial report of WHO, for December 31, 2017, slightly more than half of the $2+ billion General Fund Budget of WHO was from private donors or external agencies such as World Bank or EU. Far the largest private or non-government funders of WHO are the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation together with Gates-funded GAVI Vaccine Alliance, the Gates-initiated Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). Those three provided more than $474 million to WHO. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation alone gave a whopping $324,654,317 to WHO. By comparison, the largest state donor to WHO, the US Government, gave $401 million to WHO.

Among other private donors we find the world’s leading vaccine and drug makers including Gilead Science (currently pressing to have its drug as treatment for COVID-19), GlaxoSmithKline, Hoffmann-LaRoche, Sanofi Pasteur, Merck Sharp and Dohme Chibret and Bayer AG. The drug makers gave tens of millions of dollars to WHO in 2017. This private pro-vaccine industry support for the WHO agenda from the Gates Foundation and Big Pharma is more than a simple conflict of interest. It is a de facto high-jacking of the UN agency responsible for coordinating worldwide responses to epidemics and disease. Further, the Gates Foundation, the world’s largest at some $50 billion, invests its tax-exempt dollars in those same vaccine makers including Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline.

Against this background it should come as no surprise that Ethiopian politician, Tedros Adhanom, became head of WHO in 2017. Tedros is the first WHO director who is not a medical doctor despite his insistence on using Dr. as title. His is a doctor of philosophy in community health for “research investigating the effects of dams on the transmission of malaria in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.” Tedros, who was also Ethiopia Minister of Foreign Affairs until 2016, met Bill Gates when he was Ethiopian Health Minister and became Board Chair of the Gates-linked Global Fund Against HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Under Tedros, the notorious corruption and conflicts of interest at WHO have continued, even grown. According to a recent report by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, in 2018 and 2019 under Tedros, the WHO Health Emergencies Program, the section responsible for the COVID-19 global response, was cited with the highest risk rating noting the “failure to adequately finance the program and emergency operations [risks] inadequate delivery of results at country level.” The ABC report further found that there has also been a “surge in internal corruption allegations across the whole of the organisation, with the detection of multiple schemes aimed at defrauding large sums of money from the international body.” Not very reassuring.

In early March Oxford University stopped using WHO data on COVID-19 because of repeated errors and inconsistencies the WHO refused to correctThe WHO test protocols for coronavirus tests have repeatedly been cited by various countries including Finland for flaws and false positives and other defects.

This is the WHO which we now trust to guide us through the worst health crisis of the past century.

Robert F Kennedy Jr. Exposes Bill Gates: “Bill Gates Buys Media to Control the Messaging”

Jack Metir Alternative September 7, 2020 1 Minute

Columbia Journalism Review expose reveals that, to control global journalism, Bill Gates has steered over $250 million to the BBC, NPR, NBC, Al Jazeera, ProPublica, National Journal, The Guardian, the New York Times, Univision, Medium, the Financial Times, The Atlantic, the Texas Tribune, Gannett, Washington Monthly, Le Monde, Center for Investigative Reporting, Pulitzer Center, National Press Foundation, International Center for Journalists, and a host of other groups. To conceal his influence, Gates also funneled unknown sums via subgrants for contracts to other press outlets.

His press bribes have paid off. During the pandemic, bought and brain-dead news outlets have treated Bill Gates as a public health expert—despite his lack of medical training or regulatory experience.

Gates also funds an army of independent fact checkers including the Poynter Institute and Gannett —which use their fact-checking platforms to “silence detractors” and to “debunk” as “false conspiracy theories” and “misinformation,” charges that Gates has championed and invested in biometric chipsvaccine identification systemssatellite surveillance, and COVID vaccines.

Gates’s media gifts, says CJR author Tim Schwab, mean that “critical reporting about the Gates Foundation is rare.” The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation declined multiple interview requests from CJR and refused to disclose how much money it has funneled to journalists.

In 2007, the LA Times published one of the only critical investigations on the Gates Foundation, exposing Gates’s holdings in companies that hurt people his foundation claims to help, like industries linked to child labor. Lead reporter Charles Piller, says, “They were unwilling to answer questions and pretty much refused to respond in any sort of way…”

The investigation showed how Gates’s global health funding has steered the world’s aid agenda toward Gates’ personal goals (vaccines and GMO crops) and away from issues such as emergency preparedness to respond to disease outbreaks, like the Ebola crisis.

“They’ve dodged our questions and sought to undermine our coverage,” says freelance journalist Alex Park after investigating the Gates Foundation’s polio vaccine efforts.

An important conflict of interest which I think needs to be noted is that of the authors of the Corman-Drosten paper which established the worldwide PCR testing protocol with huge global ramifications.

The Corman-Drosten paper was supposedly peer-reviewed within a day having been submitted on 21st January 2020 to Eurosurveillance with it then being published online on 23rd January 2020.

22 experts, including Michael Yeadon, have called for the urgent withdrawal of the Corman-Drosten paper noting 10 major flaws with it. One of those major flaws is of conflicts of interest, namely that two of the authors (Christian Drosten and Chantal Reusken) are on the editorial board of Eurosurveillance which published the paper in perhaps record time. Three of the authors are also on the payroll of companies which perform PCR testing.

Imperial College, Covid, China and conflicts of interest?

Imperial College London are very busy behind the scenes.

Our Debi Evans investigates.

Who are they?  What a tangled web we weave…… let’s take a closer look to see who is running the show?
Imperial College London have close ties with China.
They collaborates with the Chinese Research Institute.
Annually publishes 600 research papers with Chinese Institutions.
225 Chinese staff carrying out world research.
7000 Alumni living in China the largest group outside U.K.
China generously donate to Imperial College
President Xi visited Imperial College in 2015 on his State Visit to U.K.  He was accompanied by George Osborne Chancellor.  Hi-lighting Imperials role as a “premier partner”.
Imperial works alongside many NHS Hospitals and have many campus’ Including Hammersmith White City.
Imperial also partner
  • NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London
  • NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre
  • NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre
  • NIHR UCL Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre

Imperial College attended WEF in China 2018 (Air pollution)
Imperial College work with Tsinghua University in Beijing.  Seed fund – Innovation fund supporting ‘bold ideas’

Imperial have also joined forces with TWIG EDUCATION to deliver for UNICEF a “Learning Passport”, this will deliver a digital learning platform available in Ukraine and Somalia soon.  Who knows where else?  Perhaps a town near you?

Imperial have released their 2020 – 2025 plan.  There’s plenty going on.  Interesting the mention of “Chemical kitchens’ and ‘ Invention rooms”.  Have a look.

On Jan 20th Imperials President Alice Gast  delivered a speech at World Economic Forum based on George Orwell’s 1984.   Sacrificing our privacy for “big data”.  Artificial Intelligence. The collaboration between NHS DEEP MIND and Google.
“ If you want to keep a secret you must also hide it from yourself”

Debs finds a bit more about Professor Alice Gast
Formerly Chevron, an oil company. Some very interesting connections to past Presidents USA.
There have been allegations of bullying and students have called for her resignation
Professor Gast has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate at Tsinghua University, Beijing and has a special interest in chemical engineering, radiation and ‘complex fluids’.  She has strengthened ties with philanthropists, policy makers, industry and Alumni.  As noted earlier many of these are in China.
Imperial rank as 3rd highest ranking University in Europe and 11th in the world  (Times Higher Education World University Ranking).  Imperial is also ranked as the U.K’s most international university and 6th most international in the world.
The close Eastern Asia relationships continue actively.  The Huawei Data Science Lab is based at Imperial which have caused some concerns within the U.K. Government. Imperial are aligned to The Chinese Academy of Science and Imperial work closely with Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.  Research includes many subjects but interestingly and specifically ‘nanotechnology’, ‘bioengineering’, ‘data science’, ‘off shore energy’ and medicine.
So who holds the grand title of highest ranking University in the world?  Who runs Imperial?
Oxford University is number one.  Oxford (AstroZenica), Covid 19.  Interesting, but maybe we will come back to Oxford another time.  There’s rather a lot to say!
Are Oxford and Imperial linked?  If so how?
Imperial College NIHR – Imperial Biomedical Research Centre AND Oxford have teamed up and developed  Remote Covid 19 Assessment in Primary Care  (RECAP).  The aim to develop a tool to assist primary care providers in the identification of Covid patients who may be at risk of getting severely ill.  An early warning score specific to Covid, based on data that can be collected reliably during ‘remote GP consultations’.   This data will be captured daily and available through Imperials BRC’s ‘i care environment’.  It can also predict who will need admission to hospital and who may need an ITU bed.  This is in partnership with Royal College General Practitioners research and SURVEILLANCE Centre based at Oxford University.
So who is in charge and who are they advising.
Professor Brendan Delaney, Imperial Faculty Medicine, Surgery and  Cancer.  He received an award from Population Research Committee to advance research into earlier diagnosis of cancer.  He was involved in The Learning Health System and was involved with clinical trials re Family medicine.  https://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/brendan.delaney
Sir Phillip Dilley Imperial – Non Exec Chairman.  He was involved on Mayor of London’s Infrastructure Delivery Board and a special advisor to the then Prime Minister David Cameron.  You may remember him as Chairman of the Environment Agency, the one who couldn’t be bothered to return home when vast swathes of the U.K. was severely flooded in 2015.
Nigel Brandon Dean
Professor Robin Shattock  Imperial College leads the development for the Oxford vaccine at a very competitive price EU price £2.23 per dose. The U.K. have ordered 100 million shots.  He says we won’t be back to ‘normal’ anytime soon.

SAGE is the Scientific group advising the U.K. Government on how to handle this “pandemic”.  It is interesting to see many from Imperial College, London School Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and Oxford.  Many representatives from there also on the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group along with named members of The Behavioural Insights team.

Professor Chris Whitty the U.K. Chief Medical Officer Oxford, London School Tropical Medicine and recipient of a healthy donation from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for research into Ebola.
Sir Patrick Vallance the U.K. Chief Scientific Officer educated here in Cornwall, trained at St George’s and was then CEO GSK Pharma, they all have a history and perhaps a conflict of interest?  Sir Patrick is also a Hon Dr Science at Imperial.
Sir Patrick delivered a lecture for Imperial College Christmas
He also has a big pharmaceutical history not deemed a conflict of interest, hmmm.

Professor Jonathan Van Tam

JVT as he’s affectionately known by the Secretary of State Health Matt Hancock, has an interesting history.  He is the grandson of a past serving State of Vietnam, PM and his uncle a Chief of Staff in the Vietnamese National Army.  JVT was awarded the military MBE for services to Lincolnshire Army Cadets.  He was also a Director of Smith Kline Beecham so AGAIN strong pharma roots.

Let’s not forget some of the more familiar names like Professor “Pantsdown” Neil Ferguson, Imperials very own rogue gallery star who made/modelled and broke his own rules inspired by China. Didn’t he allegedly incorrectly model Mad Cow Disease sending millions of cows to a terrible death unnecessarily? And we are expected to trust him?

Even our own Prime Minister has history with Imperial when he was Mayor of London and he listens carefully to Imperial.

Matt Hancock appears on very good terms with China and Imperial

U.K Column explain the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation link to Imperial perfectly.

Have we come full circle?

So who is in charge of our country? Do they really have OUR best interests at heart?  Do you TRUST THEM?  The new Oxford vax will be our soon, U.K don’t have a great track record when it comes to vaccines and this one appears no better.  The Oxford vaccine has only 70% efficacy and little safety data. Hey ho cheap cheap and homegrown. What could be better?   Perhaps a New Year gift?

You decide.  A “Decade of Health” perhaps. 2020-2030?

Waste, Negligence and Cronyism: Inside Britain’s Pandemic Spending

In the desperate scramble for protective gear and other equipment, politically connected companies reaped billions.

By Jane Bradley, Selam Gebrekidan and Allison McCannDec. 17, 2020

LONDON — When the pandemic exploded in March, British officials embarked on a desperate scramble to procure the personal protective equipment, ventilators, coronavirus tests and other supplies critical to containing the surge. In the months following those fevered days, the government handed out thousands of contracts to fight the virus, some of them in a secretive “V.I.P. lane” to a select few companies with connections to the governing Conservative Party.

To shine a light on one of the greatest spending sprees in Britain’s postwar era, The New York Times analyzed a large segment of it, the roughly 1,200 central government contracts that have been made public, together worth nearly $22 billion. Of that, about $11 billion went to companies either run by friends and associates of politicians in the Conservative Party, or with no prior experience or a history of controversy. Meanwhile, smaller firms without political clout got nowhere.

“The government had license to act fast because it was a pandemic, but we didn’t give them permission to act fast and loose with public money,” said Meg Hillier, a lawmaker with the opposition Labour Party and chair of the powerful Public Accounts Committee. “We’re talking billions of pounds, and it’s quite right that we ask questions about how that money was spent.”

The procurement system was cobbled together during a meeting of anxious bureaucrats in late March, and a wealthy former investment banker and Conservative Party grandee, Paul Deighton, who sits in the House of Lords, was later tapped to act as the government’s czar for personal protective equipment.

Eight months on, Lord Deighton has helped the government award billions of dollars in contracts –– including hundreds of millions to several companies where he has financial interests or personal connections.

The contracts that have been made public are only a part of the total. Citing the urgency of the pandemic, the government cast aside the usual transparency rules and awarded contracts worth billions of dollars without competitive bidding. To date, just over half of all of the contracts awarded in the first seven months remain concealed from the public, according to the National Audit Office, a watchdog agency.

The Times investigation was based on contracts compiled by Tussell, a research firm that tracks public spending. It also relies on other public records, and interviews with dozens of government officials, lawmakers, business owners, doctors and nurses.

All of the companies named in this article have denied wrongdoing, and there is no evidence to suggest that government officials were engaged in illegal conduct. But there is ample evidence of cronyism, waste and poor due diligence. Some of it has been documented by the British media, but the scale of the problem is wider than previously known.

In the government's rush to hand out contracts, officials ignored or missed many red flags. Dozens of companies that won a total of $3.6 billion in contracts had poor credit, and several had declared assets of just $2 or $3 each. Others had histories of fraud, human rights abuses, tax evasion or other serious controversies. A few were set up on the spur of the moment or had no relevant experience — and still won contracts.

The Department of Health and Social Care, which led the government’s pandemic procurement, said in a statement that “proper due diligence” was carried out for all contracts.

“We take these checks extremely seriously,” a spokesman for the department said in an emailed statement.

The government was undoubtedly in crisis in March, with Mr. Johnson putting the country on a “war footing.” Many companies, such as the fashion brand Burberry, did create new production lines and successfully produce critical supplies.

In addition to the information about some SAGE members in the post above, there are sub-groups to SAGE including the 'Behavioural Science Advisory Group' and the 'Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Behaviours'.

Professor Susan Michie is a member of both sub-groups and is also Director of the Centre for Behaviour Change of the Health Psychology Research Group at UCL.

On this topic, I emailed my MP months ago specifically in relation to conflict of interest as the approval of the vaccine was made by the MHRA who obviously received 980k from B&M gates. So I finally received a response, stating that my email has been forwarded to the Secretary of State for health 🙄 I won’t hold

my breath for a response.

The Appalling Science and Conflicts of Interest Behind the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine

February 6, 2021 Anthony Colpo COVID-19

Here's but a mere sampling of the links between the drug industry and UK health authorities, who are supposed to be acting in the public interest:

Sir Patrick Vallance is the Government Chief Scientific Adviser and also a key member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) which is steering the UK's dystopian response to COVID-19.

From 2006 to March 2018, Vallance worked for the corrupt GlaxoSmithKline. He began as head of drug discovery, and in 2012 was appointed head of research and development at GSK. He went directly from GSK to his post as the UK Government chief scientific adviser. Several months later, it emerged that Vallance owned 43,111 shares worth £600,000 (US $824,000) in GlaxoSmithKline, which is currently developing a COVID vaccine.

Ian Hudson, MHRA chief executive from 2013 to 2019, is a former vice president of GSK (then SmithKline Beecham). In 2019, Hudson became Senior Advisor, Integrated Development, Global Health for the intensely pro-vaccine Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Former MHRA Director of Inspection, Enforcement and Standards, Gerald Heddell, worked at UK's National Health Service until 1978, then left to enjoy senior roles at The Wellcome Foundation, Glaxo Wellcome and GlaxoSmithKline. He then returned to bureaucratic life in 2005 with a senior posting at the MHRA.

Prior to joining the MHRA in 2008, Senior Medical Assessor Dr Nithyanandan Nagercoil, worked for a generic pharmaceutical company and then a global contract research organization performing clinical trials on behalf of drug companies. During his time as a clinical researcher, he helped conduct trials for AstraZeneca and Pfizer, among others.

MHRA documentation shows current MHRA Non-Executive Directors Anne-Toni Rodgers and Amanda Calvert are shareholders in AstraZeneca. The current Chair of the MHRA Board, Stephen Lightfoot, is a shareholder in GlaxoSmithKline, while MHRA Non-Executive Director Professor Liam Smeeth is the beneficiary of research grants from GlaxoSmithKline.
