Misconceptions about praying

Michi713

Recommended Posts

Prayer has been defined by some in a deceptively superficial way, which guarantees its dismissal as a useless endeavor.  This comical, childish depiction of prayer undermines the truth and keeps people from approaching it for fear of looking ridiculous.  It belittles people who do pray, so anything they say will fall on deaf ears.

So this is an attempt to clear up the deception.

What praying isn’t:

Prattling off a wish list to a man in the clouds, like a child’s letter to Santa.  “Please keep the cabal and the NWO off my back.”  “World peace please now.”

Naming everyone in your family and every friend, stating their personal business and woes.  “And please heal Nanny’s goiter.”

Repetitive chanting

What praying is:

Have you ever thought about all that goes in to make you possible from the micro to the galactic level?  If you really think about it, it’s quite a lot.  Praying is to remember the miracle of your existence, and praise and thank God for all the blessings you are continuously receiving.

To ask for forgiveness, be cleansed of wrong doing, and reestablish yourself on a better path.

To listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, so you will do according to what God wants for you, which is the best course of action.

Ephesians 3:18-19

“to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

I'm afraid you've got that totally upside down Michi .....

Prayer is not about Praising God and being thankful ... Why would God need your Praise ??  But being thankful is beneficial for oneself ....

We are (supposed to be) in control here ...We are to come up with our own plans , and seek a  partnership with Creator .. If our plans are in divine alignment  then He will empower them ...

So it IS about "prattling off a wish list " .... We are advised top of our whish list should be the healing and forgiving the evil coalition that is oppressing humanity ... If we don't get enough people praying for this , then humanity will be exterminated by them ...Not many years to do this ..

this sounds so good but how do you know that when you'e praying that you aren't praying to a demon ?

there is only one test to prove so.

Good question G to Fly ....

Daemons can achieve results to ... This is the path of classical traditional Magic you call the spirit/daemon by name , perhaps use his sigil

Dee conjuring daemon                                Dee and Kelly conjuring Earth bound spirit

 john-dee-conjuring-spirit.jpg?w=350422px-John_Dee_and_Edward_Keeley.jpg

These are malevolent creatures and may appear to deliver , but will definitely be looking to lead you to disaster and sabotage your life , they feed off suffering and torment , These fallen spirits have infested the depraved  ET's who control society from behind the scenes They have formed a partnership with them to bring humanity down.

So to make sure you connect to God/Creator ... Call on him by name ...Ask him to protect you from outside malevolent forces , protect you from the evil cabal and their vaccinations ... Ask him to join forces with you in sending healing and forgiveness to the  forces that want to destroy us , this last thing is the only way we can win ...

Believing in God does not come easy for most ... the cabal have corrupted all religions and made "God" a dirty word ...

It comes down to whether you believe in evolution , that life came about by random happenstance  , of believe there is intelligent design.... a Creator.

You are correct.  God doesn’t need anything from us but we do need everything from Him.  The very air we breathe...Yes, being thankful is for our benefit, but being thankful to God for our very existence puts things into perspective.  Does it not?

How will we know if our plans are in alignment with God’s will?

I wonder what the spiritual/energetic effects of symbolism and reverse symbolism are

Why do you wonder about that? Just curious.
For example:  My name spelled backwards is ellehcim.  There is hell in my name.  Why mess with it and derive other words from it?

rubbish, this is deception, you are doing the devils work by obfuscating the truth, proving once again that christians dont read their own bible and instead spend their time on earth spreading darkness

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will. (Mark 11:24)

prayer is a direct link to the structure of consciousness and is for bringing change, growth, healing

all other prayers are egotism

@killing raven sun What’s up rad?  So do you think praying to the dark alien forces that are controlling the world and keeping us from reaching our infinite potential is the way to go, like some others on here?

i so fucking wish that aliens ran the world, we all grew up with those promises, but its just plain old death worshipping flesh bags that are loving the planet to death

the aliens, advanced life if you want, gave us our shot, we fucked it up, but they left their teachings with us, in case we wanted to follow, and if anyone could understand, but mostly we have false messiahs

Evil gods hear our prayer good gods hear our prayer. To say there is only one god and mention nothing about lesser deities with flesh having abilities attributed to only one god is to deceive the world. Dont be dismayed that there is evil looking on you from heaven. Heaven cannot be undone by deception since it knows your heart. The lord gives light to the eyes of both. If the just do not progress their way toward the heaven and only evil do, then the earth is sat on only by evil. If god is only the creatures of flesh which hear your prayers and do you more harm from behind the veil, these are gods which you can at least match as an equal, since you too are made in the image of god and you will find that the crooks on high lack an important vitue called courage. As the strong they crush the weak and fill themself with pride, but pride is a fault just as cowardice is. When they are drunk with their lips dripping blood, the white lips kiss them in the darkness as their equal and the fires of hell is set ablaze within them that the just pay no homage to the devil and enter the place that was hidden within which none can hide. News spreads across the earth, rumours of a hidden world, lies and gossip that beyond the matrix is just a delusion. Get on with obeying the earthly masters and stop saying things that make them annoyed to hear. The mothership is not Higara but those within cryogenic suspension are of Higara but asleep to the fact they are in the heavens dreaming of a fictional world called Kharak to be destroyed in accordance with the legends written by the mystery of Mnemosne, a river which cannot be seen by those who are asleep upon the earth who fear a coming apocalypse which will blow their world to kingdom come.

Michi, you've totally nailed it.

This makes so much sense.

Thank you!

@Michi713 I am curious how you came to your ideas about what prayer isn't.  Because while I agree that prayer can not just be a list of requests, asking God for help..and being specific..is part of it in my opinion.

Yes you are correct.  Sorry I was having a moment, being irritated at certain individuals on here who make prayer look like a silly joke so they can undermine it and pitch their own brand of pop spirituality.

I think I've told this here before. I am a Catholic. Some years ago I sought out a priest who deals in exorcisms. Not a lot here in the US do anymore. I wanted to ask some questions. After he answered, I asked him about prayer. I told him that I like to speak to my dead loved ones, and I know that they can intervene for me, but I also knew I can not pray to them like God and Jesus. He told me that they are closer to God than me, and as part of my prayers I can ask them to pray for my intentions. This is now part of my prayers.

Let me share a prayer story. A few months ago, on the phone with my mother, I mentioned how-while my wife and I are certainly not rich- we are very blessed. I then spoke about done of these blessings. These were not words I would have said not too long ago. And for context I am in my forties and she is eighty. She got very emotional, and said....."can I read a prayer to you. I keep it with me, I have for over twenty years, and I say it everyday". The prayer was about how she prayed for me to someday become content with my lot in life, and though I may not be rich to feel as though God is with me and giving me strength. This is the power of prayer.

A telepathic person can hear your prayers and we are told people who have voices in their head are delusional despite Elijah, etc having the same so called delusion. People can hear peoples prayers and occording to the bible they hear the voice of god as people pray to god and Jesus says what psalms says ... I say that ye are gods. The big question now is whether you hear god or speak to god and how to acquire the gift you don't have. As for those who say its all a load of rubbish, well they have their beliefs and are entitled to hold and impart them so long as they respect the law that they should treat others the way they wish to be treated, but if they are outside the law, then Jesus grants no protection of eye for eye and tooth for tooth type retribution as it always was. I believe god is in everything, and the zealots who shout mental illness against beliefs they dont want told should take their own medicine. Is my religion unjust? The god of the living, not the dead!

I have much personal knowledge regarding mental illness/false societal labels of mental illness/ and the powers that belong to those considered mentally ill.

I have some questions. A little confused by your comment. Do you believe telepathy is always in the form of hearing the thoughts of others? Can it be different?

Can you explain further why you think they would hear the prayers and the voice of God?

And can you sort of rephrase the parts after " outside the law". Sorry to be a pain, I understand If you don't want to.
