I always tell people that the background is where they should be looking when they are trying to "see". In commercials, shows, movies you name it, give them a good watch and only look at the background of every scene and you shall be amazed at what you may find. I wake up around 3:30 am every morning, and I always seem to glance over at the clock at 3:33 pm most days. Last night when I woke up, there was a Barred Owl outside my bedroom window perched right on the porch and it was making it's hooting noise or whatever. It was so incredibly loud it sounded like a woman crying outside. Those things are scary looking! Macnamara
In the german time travel TV series 'Dark' the character tannhaus explains that the lunar-moon cycle, when the sun and moon align, repeats every 33 years. he also says Jesus performed 33 miracles, 33 litanies of the angels, and Dante's 33 cantos in purgatory and 33 in paradise. Jonas adds that 33 is the age the anti-christ begins his rule.

Ire_Mane
33 is a number representing the duality of the trinity and the balance between the two. With access to both, it's power can be used for either "good" or "evil", because ultimately the two are one and the same.

All other degrees are unofficial and honorary. The 32nd and 33rd degrees are like receiving an honorary degree from Harvard. It means nothing. You can be awarded the 33rd degree without ever having previously been a part of Masonry. In fact, that's usually the case when someone is awarded the 33rd degree. It's almost insulting, and definitely condescending.

That sounds like something a portico freemason would say who is unaware of what goes on above him in the compartmentalised hierarchy of freemasonry
