Apparently in Denmark, there have been signs of minks infected with a mutated strain of the corona virus, and because those who've been in contact with them will have lower effectiveness with the vaccine when it is is introduced...so they are planning to destroy all 67 million minks that there currently exist in Denmark. It's bye-bye for an industry that's worth over 500 million euros. Now what was that Great Reset about? Oh, right, that the proles won't have any possibility maintain their own ways of getting income outside of the state. The actual number of minks cited for culling is estimated at 17 million, not 67 million. Still a lot, though. Those poor animals. :( It's shocking and disgusting that these "fur farms" are still continuing in the 21st century. If any good can come from this then I hope that the "fur industry" is gone for good. These people are making money out of the suffering of animals. Good riddance! I've got a vintage style fake fur collar and a fake fur scarf. They are warm and soft and attractive looking. I've had fake fur coats too in the past. I did though have a real fur coat back in the early 1990s given to me by an elderly lady. I asked her if was real fur and she told me it wasn't. I wore it for a few weeks until and older man I knew ( whose second hand book shop I used to go into as a friend worked there ) looked at it and told me that the coat was a real 1940s fur coat, probably mink. I told him it was fake fur. He showed me how the fur grew and then the ration ticket sewn into the lining- which I hadn't noticed! I got rid of the coat when I got home. I probably gave it to a charity shop; can't quite remember. Some people actually wear the vintage fur coats but wouldn't buy a new fur coat; saying that it's a waste of that poor animal's life to just bin the coat. I can see their point, but being a vegetarian I couldn't carry on wearing it, as it felt to me as though I was endorsing wearing real fur.
