HistoryIsComplex
Everybody is releasing 80s themed tracks. Buuut... The boy in this video falls madly in love with another guy who is pretending to be a hot chick in Virtual Reality. There is also a Lesbian kiss on prominent display. As if telling youth "You'll get your 80s fix kids. But you gotta be LGBTQ!"

HistoryIsComplex
What is significant is the numbers and terminology: - Young Millenials being corrupted - Born about 2000 Years After Christ - 2nd Coming Symbolism - 21st Century - 3 x 7 - aka the 777 (as opposed to 666)

Fluke
Of course. Us millenials don't have a culture of our own. I'm hoping the lockdowns bring a rise in people starting bands in their garages again. People raving in old warehouses last week gave me some hope for the youth and young. However even the cosplay punk bands from the 2000s were cringey as hell. The hipsters are cringe. People in their 20s thinking they are hip because they listen to bon Jovis living on a prayer . Same with the hippy symbol (worth reading up on the history of that) and it's nefarious roots, and commercialising everything. So everything is watered down. And then you add the social engineering of promoting "being kind" which is just virtue signalling. Snapchat releasing clips of Alan Watts and modern day android and apple phones and not to mention Instagram promoting "inspirational" quotes, and it'll be some women sitting in a yoga position, or a business man like the wolf of wall Street . And then you got some band (who I can't be bothered to search for) with the main singer a man in a dress, with shaved legs, saying he is gender fluid. His fans think it's great. They probably think they are going against the establishment. They of course aren't. And it's nothing like what Bowie was doing back in the day. Even Freddie Mercury, I love queen, (even though they were and are really mainstream) who was in his own words "gay as a daffodil dear" at least he was and acted like a man. A real man. Manlier band than any of these soyboys even with a band named queen. I'm not exactly the perfect picture of masculinity myself, but the agenda is plain to see. Those that go along with it, must know even subconsciously there's something very anti human with it all. Edit And is it just me or is it pretty creepy having any sexuality shoved down our throats or on screens? Whether gay or straight. Am I old fashioned for just wanting it to be kept in the bedroom? Perhaps I'm just getting older than my years and I need a good shag. Perhaps I'm bitter like good old Morrissey because I never "fumbled in haystacks" or had a good one two unbuckle my shoe on a beach. Still nevermind aye. Life on hard mode I'm all for a bit of light-hearted and CLEVER innuendos but this in your face sexuality always struck me as a bit trashy. Not a chance! The music nowadays is beyond atrocious. My dad was a jazz musician and he said the exact same thing to me about rock and blues bands but it really is a whole new degenerate and abysmal level nowadays. Take this video above you..... 'Starlight - Numero Uno' . If you take away the computer manufactured synthesized sounds you'd be listening to a deafening silence. It's worse than atrocious and cannot be called music. And these hip hop guys? Some of the lyrics are quite meaningful and I thought that guy Immortal Technique was worth a listen as there was a soul and depth to what he was singing about, albeit that the best song of his was an old Andy Williams song. Kids hear a cover version by by Taylor Shit or Ahell and think its great when in fact, the original song was by Bob Dylan, Billy Joel or the Eagles. They kill the song. The old Blues masters like Leadbelly, John Lee Hooker, Muudy Waters, Howlin' Wolf all had their songs copied of course by Cream, Led Zep but there was still an awful lot of originality and the songs that were copied were infinitely better versions. Robert Johnson's 'Crossroads' was nothing compared to Cream's version. As for those black musicians nowadays...an absolute fucking drugged up degenerate disgrace considering it was Blues, Jazz and Gospel music which derived from the slave trade that spawned modern music. Their only motivation for becoming a pop star is to get inside the pants of a white woman. By the way, I think Queen were awful. Not surprising really when there influences came from the likes of Sweet Give me Emerson Lake and Palmer any day. Have a whiff of this Fifth Element and you come back and tell me how good your offering was! My workmate has heart FM on in the morning in his van and it's bloody awful. Really puts me in a mood for the day actually. I liked little Richard. Little Richard was original I like some of his records.

Without him perhaps there would have maybe been no Beatles. There are a few films of the early Beatles as 16/17 year olds - how they met, how and where they formed a band, the Hamburg days on YT which are brilliant (for me.) I've watched them over and over. It just reiterates the fact that because they all knew each other so well and came from the same background etc, that is 75% of the battle won when you have four people with the same personalities, the same aspirations and the same level of creativity. Harrison was younger than the rest so wasn't too bothered about bursting the McCartney, Lennon monopoly.

Yes someone I know or used to see around town who is approaching 30 does that shit. It's all just ego bragging my dicks the biggest I'm the hardest blablabla. Drum and bass was just coming into fashion in my late teens and grime and it used to depress me even then. I was exposed with it when I hung around with the council estate lads. Depressing and aggressive. Aggressive but not to the right people lol.
