Why do I get the feeling that bitcoin wont be allowed or that if it is it will be some kind of restrictive wallet held by paypal rather than the person misled by google censorship to believe that paypals bitcoin wallet it creates and restricts then allows paypal users to use calling it the users bitcoin wallet when really its the users paypal accounts bitcoin wallet owned by paypal not the user which paypal have claimed some obscure legal right to restrict.

The history of paypals ever-changing terms of service has generated so many complaints in tech forums, that it seems unlikely the free trade system of a non-centralised currency cannot be improved upon by those whose main business is the transfer of centralised currencies.

This might be a similar hype & crash.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.

They know the public know the economy is dying and will be looking at other currencies. This could just be a way to fleece concerned people of their last fiat, then later on they crash the crypto too.

I also thought eBay was doing a deal with another payment processor and that Paypal will only be a guaranteed payment option at the checkout until 2023. Perhaps this is just Paypal looking at a new market.

Silk road, which was backed up by a mainstream media "hate speech" campaign prior to the theft of millions of hours worth of hard work crystalised in bitcoin because the lack of faith in Fiat Currency, manufactured freely and given liberally to those demanding that those who are barred from manufacturing it provide it in a system where the only way to acquire it, is to work for a manufactured worthless thing under the threat of hunger if you dont have it.

My true society have a seven letter word to describe this practice. The fourth letter has important meaning.

Silk road & BTC back then was free market capitalism, which couldn't be tolerated. Shows what the internet could be without all the Paypals & Ebay, Amazon fleece markets.

Real anarchy.

This is like a change over of old elites to emergence of new younger elites likes of Elon.

Now Amazon/Ebay/Paypals are becoming old hats and we welcome the new era of silk road  & BTC.

Apparently banks are buying it so there's going to be a big push.

Elon who originally started PayPal is a front & not a true elite, neither is Darpa Bezo or the rest of the technocrats, have all been groomed into positions.

BTC is more conditioning for the move to blockchain ID currency, through id2020 & Luciferase digital tattoo.

BTC recently hit $17000 last week, highest its ever been.

Britain & the EU have been putting their digital currency plans out also.

I feel the rate they are spending, will bring in a world $ as the solution.

Technological change is upending finance. Bitcoin has gone from being an obsession of anarchists to a $1trn asset class that many fund managers insist belongs in any balanced portfolio. Swarms of digital day-traders have become a force on Wall Street. PayPal has 392m users, a sign that America is catching up with China’s digital-payments giants. Yet, as our special report explains, the least noticed disruption on the frontier between technology and finance may end up as the most revolutionary: the creation of government digital currencies, which typically aim to let people deposit funds directly with a central bank, bypassing conventional lenders.

These “govcoins” are a new incarnation of money. They promise to make finance work better but also to shift power from individuals to the state, alter geopolitics and change how capital is allocated. They are to be treated with optimism, and humility.

A decade or so ago, amid the wreckage of Lehman Brothers, Paul Volcker, a former head of the Federal Reserve, grumbled that banking’s last useful innovation was the atm. Since the crisis, the industry has raised its game. Banks have modernised their creaking it systems. Entrepreneurs have built an experimental world of “decentralised finance”, of which bitcoin is the most famous part and which contains a riot of tokens, databases and conduits that interact to varying degrees with traditional finance. Meanwhile, financial “platform” firms now have over 3bn customers who use e-wallets and payments apps. Alongside PayPal are other specialists such as Ant Group, Grab and Mercado Pago, established firms such as Visa, and Silicon Valley wannabes such as Facebook.

Government or central-bank digital currencies are the next step but they come with a twist, because they would centralise power in the state rather than spread it through networks or give it to private monopolies. The idea behind them is simple. Instead of holding an account with a retail bank, you would do so direct with a central bank through an interface resembling apps such as Alipay or Venmo. Rather than writing cheques or paying online with a card, you could use the central bank’s cheap plumbing. And your money would be guaranteed by the full faith of the state, not a fallible bank. Want to buy a pizza or help a broke sibling? No need to deal with Citigroup’s call centre or pay Mastercard’s fees: the Bank of England and the Fed are at your service.

Strange nobody has been talking about whats been happening in the crypto world last few days, ELion Musk the ELite front recently added BTC as an option to buy Tesla,

but has recently been supporting Doge & claiming he will use it to pay for Space X...now says BTC is bad for environment & has dropped it, whilst promoting Doge.

But is he just trolling the Doge people, who knows...hes always been a scammer. If he accepts Doge for Tesla payment & Space X then bye bye BTC.

IMO hes right, BTC is a monster for many reasons.

Seems to me Elions a promoter or public relations for the real players...unless you actually believe he runs all these companies & pushes all the agendas, Electric cars/Mars/Moon/Nerulink/AI..... No imo Elion is all about conditioning us into the digital currency right now.

You might see someone like Jeff Bezo jump on board with Dodge coin or another coin to create a crypto war soon. Once Amazon start accepting crypto will go full mainstream & the .gov coins will move in on the action.

Thats my theory anyway.

Yes I support privacy coins & decentralized exchange. PC tanked recently, the problem with crypto well volatile.

Also pricing people out of property in US as well. I've been hearing of whole neighborhoods being bought out and rented straight away. Utter contempt for us, but ya know, we're conspiracy theorists right......
