How bad does it need to get?

It's getting like that for me too.

But we have to be careful, let them come to us and then explain how trying to stop a virus with a mask is like trying to stop a mosquito with chicken wire.

During our break I walked with 2 of my coworkers to the grocery store for sandwiches. My coworkers put their masks on soon as we went on our way. I laughed at them and asked them why they put on those silly masks. They said they had to because it's mandatory. We went into the store and almost everyone was wearing masks except for me and 2 or 3 other customers I saw. It's not even mandatory. People are obsessed with complying to authority. It wasn't like this 20/30 years ago I remember. I've seen people change in the last 2 or 3 decades. People have become conformists and obedient slaves. I wonder what made this happen?

A lot of these masked idiots would take them off if only EVERY shop in the land displayed this sign in their windows.

Do you like beer?

I like beer.

You seem the sort of person I would drink beer with and laugh out loud with.

You may yet save the world.

I certainly hope so.

I love real ale my friend.......and laughing.........I'd be happy to have a beer and a giggle  with you............in a normal world.

Anyway, long story short I go into a couple of shops regularly, maskless and now I am less concerned,in fact make a point of projecting confidence.

I get a great deal of confidence projection, power walking into Tesco without a muzzle and right past their traffic light system, which seems to be always on red.

It's been played out before...

Protesting During A Pandemic Isn’t New: Meet The Anti-Mask ...

and we may know who plays the tune.....

Book Review: "Dictionary of the Khazars" by Milorad Pavić

That top picture's me tomorrow trying to get on the bus.

Well to be fair the 1918 flu pandemic was very virulent and dangerous as it killed the young adults very quickly; sometimes in as little as a day from symptoms coming out. Covid is nowhere near as bad. Then there was the Tudor sweating sickness and people did try and  quarantine and try and keep their distance but Henry VIII didn't shut the country down!

I suffer from anxiety and social phobia as well as panic attacks and because of the nature of my social phobia I wear a mask when in supermarkets because of the fear of getting harassed by other shoppers and I fear the intimidation which would give me great psychological distress. I know that I should be exempt because of my anxiety disorder and I feel uncomfortable wearing masks but it still doesn’t help with the fear of being confronted by a disgruntled shopper.

However, I know that this lockdown and wearing of masks is utter bullshit and has nothing whatsoever to do with health and medical reasons. This is all down to government obedience and compliance and no doubt many other people in shops and supermarkets only wear masks for the same reason that I do.

Get a face shield instead. Those masks are useless anyway and suffocating. Some people are walking down the road in them. I'm sick of the sight of them. A young man I was talking to on a workshop I was in a few days ago kept his on the whole time although they told us we didn't have to and he told me likes wearing it. The mind boggles- how can you like being muzzled and suffocated by cloth over your nose and mouth all day?

Ugliness?

Perhaps he has a face that looks

like it caught fire and someone tried to put it out with a shovel.

Lol that's mean. I asked him if he had asthma, wondering if he's got some health issue that makes him scared of covid and he said no.

He must be scared of it though. He only looked in his mid 20s. I'm 52 and not worried.

Yes its interesting isn't it my mates son was in the van with me the other day helping us at a painting job. He is 19 and had his shirt over his nose most of the way. I got paranoid at first but remembered i did brush my teeth that morning and also had a shower. So i certainly didn't smell my personal hygeine has always been spot on. Although admittedly i haven't been washing my hands as much since the rona.

Then it dawned on me he is frightened of the Rona 😂. He is really intelligent though apparently passes all his exams and is really doing well for himself. So i am told. Its just a shame these really intelligent people who are doing well in life can't seem to use critical thinking. I didn't give a fuck at the age and i certainly don't now of this nonsense virus.

I don’t like the idea of face shields too. Its quite mind boggling indeed that a guy you know wears a mask all the time though I don’t agree with Ziggy Sawdust that maybe the guy is ugly. I think the reason that people wear those masks all the time even in the street is that either they have a mask fetish or they are the sort of people who likes to hide their identity for other reasons and the mask law is a good opportunity to do that or they really believe that wearing those stupid masks will protect them from the virus.

Whenever I see designer face masks and there are so many of them now, I wonder how many times they wear them between washes. Seems somewhat of a complete waste of time if they aren't disinfected every time they are used. You can guarantee that the vast majority of people wearing these stupid things do not do that.

And some of those regulation blue ones look decidedly worse for wear!

Just that alone makes a mockery of this whole process.

Just been listening to talkRadio on youtube ... about the BBC viewing figures for Eastenders and Brtain's got talent (never watch this myself) and that they are plummeting ... and that the content is all very political liberal agendary shit.

Which is good, it means the country aint' interested.

Seems like there is a group of people in the liberal/media part of society who are a bit miserable and they are vomiting their misery on the country ... and that's what we are going through, it may not be a generalised problem, and so there is hope it passes through after someone takes a big dump.

Those people tend to be emotionally negative and sheeplike ... so are prey to the globalist we're gonna save the world message ... and the world is turning against globalisation, in parts ... Brexit/Conservatives/Trump ... so this group of people feel miserable and want everyone to know it.

That's pretty much "what is going on".
