The Hidden Origins of the Human Race

Recommended Posts

Well,

I've watched Michael Cremo's video a while back and he had me puzzled back then and again a few days ago so I figured I would post it here to get some of your thoughts on the matter.

I personally don't think it's too far fetched for humans to have been around for millions of years knowing what archeologists find and the location and depth of the discoveries are, it makes you wonder what is going on. Some will refer to Wikipedia as a source ( 👎 ) about Michael Cremo and call him a nut and his research as pseudoscience but we've been lied to before and still today so... Who knows.

Any idea?

Watching this now. Straight off, I'd go with the strong possibility that humans have been around for millions of years. Partly basing that on the fact that humans have been scientifically proven not to have evolved from any known primate. This has forced science to come up with the "common ancestor" theory, which is no more than a theory. So science has no idea on the actual history of human kind as evolution has no basis in fact. Also, we tend to view ourselves as humans rather than spirits. Science does, at least.

Could human kind, as the physical form, be viewed as a vehicle for evolving/growing cosciouness? If we could entertain the ideas of Dark Ages followed by Golden Ages, that are followed by cataclysms; what would be the point of that? It might seem like a cycle of birthing, coming of age/worldwide "buddahood" and then dying on a global level via cataclysm for the purpose of a completely new consciousness coming into being- creation. For something new to happen, something might need to end. That previous one global consciousness then moves onto planetary level, i.e. becomes a planet/moon in itself. Perhaps not that but to illustrate a point. In the bible it talks of human kind being cast to the winds, separated, following a Golden Age and almost made to be divided by creed, sect, colour and language. The hundreds of years old living humans then losing the connection with source and having to start over and grow a completely new consciousness to the one that has passed on to a higher level. Potentially reincarnated from the animal kingdom with all the notions of territorial divisions brought into the human realm.

Cataclysms erase a great deal and carbon dating is thought to be majorly flawed by many.

I tend to see that as a strong possibility. What would be the point of living on earth to just die 80 some years later to end our journey?

As DI says (which I believe), ours bodies are just vehicles and our spirit/consciousness lives on forever.

There's no photographic evidence for any of the things Michael Cremo claims in his book 'Forbidden Archeology'.

I was interested so I bought a copy.

It's just full of second hand stories but there's NO EVIDENCE. Not even photos. NOT A SINGLE ONE for the hundreds of OOPARTS he claims exist.

So I call bullshit.

I was open minded and I bought the hard back edition of the book. It's a great book full of all sorts of tantalising mysteries.

But it's just a fantasy without evidence or corroberation of any kind.

Strange seems to be plenty of evidence in the video posted. Photographic evidence that you claim is missing.

I was talking about the book. He claims wrist watches and lighters were found in ancient bedrock and such....but without photographic evidence makes it hard to believe.

Depends how you view things. Some might say that your ancestors journeys haven't ended because you're the walking and talking culmination of them. Deracinated people might view things differently though.

It's okay. It would be nice if we carry on our journey after this life, but obviously we can't be certain that whatever is next is better, so I dunno. lol

I wouldn't be mad if our journey ends here as there are worst possibilities. I guess we're still part of a cycle regardless, and like in native American tradition, it's ok to think that we're connected to sacred soil because it's full of our ancestors.

I think these days the worst of possibilities are right here on this rock. The sooner we leave this rock honorably the better off we will be. I just go with what my heart tells me and I do not worry about such a thing.

Life too short...

Cheers!!
