I think I actually said the opposite, that vibration did not reach the cabin interior, hence the lack of sound.

In my opinion it would transmit sound so badly that you would either hear nothing, or hardly anything, in the cabin.

 

Rocket exhaust makes a sound because it collides with air molecules, setting up a chaotic mixture of pressure waves. Since air molecules are floating freely it's very easy for the exhaust to create these chain-reactions of collisions. But the molecules in the rocket housing are not free to collide with each other like this. By design a rocket housing would need to be very tough and vibration-resistant in order to carry out its purpose of transmitting all of the force of the exhaust gas to the spacescraft as movement. The last thing you would want is for the rocket housing to be full of random vibrations. It would shake itself apart.

Doesn't matter. Gas laws describe a a particle velocity curve that "looks like" white noise. Some of those particles will obviously transfer energy to the exhaust cone.

No, it's all about amplitude. Low energy random vibrations are not going to destroy anything.

Well, we have to accept the fact that space is not American only. I heard that Donald Trump had plans to colonize the Moon and make it to be an American colony and now NASA is looking for partners to participate in the Moon mission. And except NASA there are other companies responsible for space exploration. The UK is famous for satellites producing, launch vehicles and third stage. They have also rebuilt cosmodrome.
