I talked to 2 people recently who each said "There is a real slide towards dishonesty, selfishness, cheating and corruption in our country. Every year it gets a bit worse, and many people who do it now think its normal and brush it away as 'Its just a way to make money. Nothing more. I do it for my family and children. Everybody else would do exactly the same.'" What is everybody's thoughts on this? Are we entering a "post-ethics" phase of human civilization where it is "every man for himself"? Is the world giving up on honesty, decency, empathy and morality?
