After the Twin Towers came down I visited New York. I was in Planet Hollywood having a meal and got talking to a local waiter we were discussing what had happened. I was told not many people in New York believe the story of terrorists as two weeks before the event the Firebrigade had cleared out the towers to do a routine check of the basement? I was told it was never reported in the news that they had been in the basement prior to 9/11. The waiter said everyone was confused as to why they had been in the basement towers as this had never happened before. Food for thought hey!
