  1. That's interesting thought, perhaps this is the first phase of a very long term plan, give us a couple of years of relative normality and then hit us again with another 'problem'. It would be a perfect way to destroy all of our arguments and fears about what's happening now. However if they did ease off would they lose the momentum that they have built this last year? Anything is possible.
  2. Pretty much follows that leaked Canada email, there was some suggestions it was fake but it seems a realistic timeline of how things are panning out.
  3. Police didn't seem to worried about rescuing him.
  4. Vitaly Zhuravsky Ukrainian politician who was involved in legislation restricting freedom of speech.
  5. Can't remember which country but recall a news clip of a politician being thrown into a skip by a group of angry citizens.
  6. Already have experience of 3 colleagues who have suffered chest infections that took quite a while to shake off...all mask wearers.
  7. How do we bypass them and get to the person that was elected by us? There must be a way. Our MPs should be asking the very same questions that me, you and everyone else on this forum is. They can't all be 100% behind every single policy decision being made.
  8. For some that's very true but surely not for all of them. I just don't want to believe that there isn't a sizeable percentage that are angry as hell about all of this.
  9. We need to find them, demand to know where they are. Their job is to protect our rights and speak up for our concerns....they are the most essential employees in the country at the moment! Perhaps they are our only hope.
  10. I'm also concerned for the well-being of our MPs maybe they are being held against their will and only a select controlled few are allowed to attend parliament. Utterly impossible to get 500 MPs from all sides of the political spectrum to all think the same! Perhaps that's why emailing your mp about this is so futile...the email gets forwarded to a central server and you get a computer generated response.
  11. This image sums up the state of our democracy, one man talking to himself, no other voices allowed. An echo chamber with the red signs on the back of the seats symbolising our cancelled voices. Where have our representatives disappeared to?
  12. It's also bemusing how they have a variant and almost immediately they know which vax is most effective against it. Proper traditional science doesn't work like that...however with junk science you can do or say anything, just like magic. Junk science is also very vague and undefined, notice how often they use very vague language 'it may, it could, it might, possibly, we'll have to see' Proper science is based on hard facts.
  13. Yep, I think your correct, people who have had Oxford first will be clamouring for the supposedly more effective Pfizer one on the next round. They won't care less that neither have been tested (officially) on how they operate in conjunction with each other. Perhaps that's the reason for so many vaccines, people are always going to be craving the one with the best effectiveness %.
  14. I don't know, I reckon Johnson has said sit tight old boy I'm wiping out all your completion for you...couple of months and you will have a monopoly. He'll be selling his modern day Victory gin to everyone.
  15. I think a very subtle easing will occur just to give the masses a bit of hope that we are turning the corner....probably early March, then they will inflict the real psychological hammer blow not sure when, maybe late March early April...Easter sort of time....the Oxford vax is not working. That will be very damaging psychologically. Just watched bit of BBC news and they are planting seeds in people's minds...some of the red list country passengers saying they came in on flights with non red list passengers. So the narrative is being laid...the red terror will sweep the country. Just a hunch I suppose.
  16. You must resist otherwise next week it will be 4 masks and 2 visors, your boss needs to be made to think.
  17. Apart from the massacres, deaths and famines for which communism was responsible, the worst thing about the system was the official lying: that is to say the lying in which everyone was forced to take part, by repetition, assent or failure to contradict. I came to the conclusion that the purpose of propaganda in communist countries was not to persuade, much less to inform, but to humiliate and emasculate. In this sense, the less true it was, the less it corresponded in any way to reality, the better; the more it contradicted the experience of the persons to whom it was directed, the more docile, self-despising for their failure to protest, and impotent they became. Theodore Dalrymple
  18. True, but just not in one of his pubs.
  19. As we walk around any supermarket we stand out like a sore thumb. The maskless were probably put on a list in July last year.
  20. Great idea Tim, you should be PM with policy ideas like that....country is ruined but hey ho let's just get pissed.
  21. It's relentless on all the main channels, all current shows, quiz shows, soaps, sport and fluff like this morning and loose women. It's so insidious that the viewing public aren't given the mental break to question it. Bradley Walsh won't shake a contestant's hand any more on the chase so the proles perception of a virus is constantly reinforced. The only channel worth watching is ITV 4, with reruns of the Sweeney, the Avengers etc.
  22. Maybe they don't care enough. It's too much for them to cope with mentally, so they shut down and watch the telly instead. They are committing mind suicide by not being courageous enough to try and solve the puzzle. When I see people lining up for the vax they have already committed mind suicide by accepting the invite. What ever happens to you after that invite is accepted is pure random luck, just like life itself.
  23. Down in the street they're all singing and shouting Staying alive though the city is dead Hiding their shame behind hollow laughter While you are crying alone in your bed Pity, Cassandra, that no one believed you But, then again, you were lost from the start Now we must suffer and sell our secrets Bargain, playing smart, aching in our hearts [Chorus] Sorry Cassandra, I misunderstood Now the last day is dawning Some of us wanted but none of us would Listen to words of warning But on the darkest of nights Nobody knew how to fight And we were caught in our sleep Sorry Cassandra, I didn't believe You really had the power I only saw it as dreams you would weave Until the final hour [Verse 2] So in the morning your ship will be sailing Now that your father and sister are gone There is no reason for you to linger You're grieving deeply ,still moving on You know the future is casting a shadow No one else sees it, but you know your fate Packing your bags, being slow and thorough Knowing, though you're late, that ship is sure to wait
  24. We are perhaps chosen but Cassandra had the same problem. People don't listen or maybe they don't care which is more likely.
