I am exempt, so don't have to subject myself to this bizarre ritual, but that doesn't stop me from feeling very disconcerted about nearly everyone else wearing them. It is dehumanising people, and reducing interaction and understanding between people. Plus, for me at least, it is a very unpleasant sight which triggers something in my psyche that I would never have imagined being raised in this way. I also cannot understand what people are saying through them. Removing the ability to smile and exchange facial signals with other human beings is a disgraceful act. Waitrose are the worst with this crap. One of our local branches has a "marhsall" outside who is a complete cu......jobsworth. I wonder if it was them! John Lewis' boss is now Sharon White, who is big buddies with Matt Hancock and George Osborne. This is possibly why they are behaving like cu.....jobsworths. You'd expect better from Waitrose. The hectoring in-store PA announcements every 5 minutes are like something out of 1984. No other supermarket chain I know of is behaving this way. I know Sainsbury's split up couples who want to shop, but otherwise their attitude is pretty good (in the circumstances).

It depends how long it takes the majority of the public to realise that the "old normal" is not coming back. Ever. When their jobs are gone. Their money's gone. Their kids are going into mental meltdown. They can't have their blessed holidays. The football grounds don't allow them back in. Concerts and pubs continue being either closed or subject to restrictions. And, perhaps most of all, when it dawns on them (should have already of course) that these "vaccines" are the biggest con of all and they've sold their DNA and health down the river for a lie.
