Surprised it's only 300.

Oh no doubt @Mr Crabtree - there's been plenty of sabotage in the past!

Marble Arch is site of Speakers Corner and also where in olden days the rebels and criminals were lynched. So very symbolic.
But take your point. Should be right under their noses.

It's funny how Nigel and "Tommy" bleat on about freedom of speech and the right to protest until it involves calling out Israeli atrocities, then they become big supporters of the government curtailing free speech and police aggressively cracking down on protests. I used to actually like them somewhat, but now I think that pair are wolves in sheep's clothing. Same goes for Trump, they all claim to be for freedom but very quickly call for a police state.
None of 'em are our friends or allies.

Wasn't sure if to put this in minor news, but to me, it's big news.
We got a government who's drops a spying case against China, claiming China is a challenge not an enemy.
But they officially state China has national security concerns, but it represents a growth opportunity, so we'll risk it anyway.
But you the people, we won't let you risk 2 glasses of sugary drinks.
One is a national security concern, the other is a lifestyle choice.
We have to be legislated against to much sugar, but the government dropped a spying case against a hostile foreign government that has security issues on the basis it may invest money.
So national security concerns go out the window in favour of investment but our personal choices have to be legislated?
Secondly, who the f*ck do they think they are?
I've often walked into a pub and downed my first pint because of thirst and ordered a second. I can't do that when I pay to go to a restaurant?
What next?
Waiters taught to calories count and refuse to serve if it breaks a limit?
Menu choices limited to what the government say us good for us and which food groups we can have.
FFS. This government is going to destroy the UK and move us to hardline socialism or communism.
They will not listen to the public or their own petitions.
They engage in Tax fraud and freebies while preaching to us about ethics and decency.
Digital ID and laws like this are just the beginning of the nightmare they would force on us.
Nando's restricts customers to one Coke per visit under new 'nanny state' rules triggering customer backlash
Nando's has sparked a backlash after restricting customers to a single glass of Coca-Cola Classic under new government rules aimed at cutting sugar consumption.
The Peri-Peri chicken chain, known for its 'bottomless' drink option, previously allowed diners to refill s
But while zero-sugar options such as Sprite Zero and Fanta Zero remain unlimited, Coca-Cola Classic is now capped at one serving.
An updated sticker on Nando's drinks machines now reads: 'Want Coca-Cola Classic? It's one glass only.
'Based on new government laws, we've had to limit Coca-Cola Classic to one glass per customer. Still thirsty? Help yourself to one of our low-sugar fizzy bottomless soft drinks.'
The move immediately triggered complaints on social media. One X user wrote: 'Welcome to the nanny state.' Another said: 'This must be a joke.'

Its not a joke, it's totalitarian tip toe.

Burnham is a real piece of work. So much dodgy goings on and bad shit happens under his watch. Maybe he would like to "reflect" on why that is. Less controlled-opposition, more an enabler for the PTB.

Covid's making a comeback apparently. Not sure if they're as good as Oasis.

Discussion and "fresh blood" have also slowed this year due to other tech/admin issues which required new sign-ups to be temporarily put on hold. That has now been sorted, hence a lot of new members appearing in the past week.

this relates to me, anyone else?
Some things I no longer feel the same passion for....watching sports, mainly...anything to do with politics. I maintain a watchful eye but I have seen through the charade and approach it differently. I do not get engaged in any of their mind games and BS.
Still like designing stuff, reading...old TV and films. Nothing modern. I have detached myself from modern society and its garbage.

I knew I'd seen them before!
Where do they find these....people....
Thoughtful of the CoE to make such a major announcement at this particular time. Otherwise this would have been a lot bigger story.

Former WSL manager Matt Beard dies suddenly at 47.
He was at Liverpool when the jabs were around, and we know that club were the biggest pushers of it thanks to then-boss Herr Klopp (who quit from "exhaustion" a year later, looking like a frail man).
Odd that he joined a new club this summer only to resign a few weeks later. Maybe that's when the SHTF with the vax effects. Seemed a top bloke, very honest and well-liked in the game.
Coroner's report says he took his own life. Very sad. He did look stressed and unhappy on the touchline during final season with Liverpool. Assumed it was being unhappy with the club's decisions. Obviously went deeper. Many reasons why ppl see no way out.

If this site had successfully ported over all the threads and info on the old site, this place would be huge, filled with old threads that people could spend hours browsing. Unfortunately, it didn't happen and there's really not much on here for new people to browse through.
No wonder it's so quiet. ,It lost members and input as well as vast amounts of historical information and research.
Yep, very frustrating for everyone, even the mods. We did try every so often to ask if something could be done. Tech stuff that's waaaaaay over my head.

If there's anything I detest more (in the emdia) than those "what you need to know..." pieces, I can't think of it.
Treating people with a bloody sheep mentality. Obviously lots of the time they probably deserve it, given their lack of critical awareness.

Flags at House of Parliament will be lowered tomorrow.
Has this happened before? And when....?
I hope it's not one rule for some, and not for others.

I didn't go looking for it but someone sent me the footage of a dead person on the floor and people just seemed to be walking over the corpse like it was a dead fox in the road or something. Very strange surreal... You would have thought someone would have put a blanket or something over the corpse? But of dignity.
Either:
1) possible shock caused people to just lose sense of humanity and realise what was going on
2) people have already lost most of their humanity anyway
3) it was perhaps not a real corpse.
A so-called FF does not mean there are no casualties. Scripted events designed to push an agenda and create a P-R-S can involve the death of actual people. There is a difference between "hoax!" and a FF.
But the signs so far, the "facts" emerging, the names, the places, the reaction....suggest that it was not some random nutter doing their terror thing.

Yeah it was. SKY or BBC made a point of zooming in on the tatty street sign on the wall. Why do that. Unless a "White House avenue" is their idea of a joke...ie we're going to follow the US in turning on our own people.

Maybe cos David's views and public opinions don't serve the PTB narrative in some form or create sham conflict and media diversions. David just speaks the truth and exposes the motive behind all this crap.
