    As much as I would love England to win this European Championship, am I the only one not getting swept up in the "it's coming home" hysteria and is expecting us to get crushed by this Spain side?

      Agree with @Fluke - not a bad performance tonight from players who are really on the same level as Spain, they just need a better coach to manage the tactics. It was a decent watch. Three best moments of the tournament all by young players (Bellingham, Watkins, Palmer). Next manager needs to build the team around them. Kane looks finished at this level.

      All the hoopla is embarrassing. I'll be pleased for the players if they win. The boss is a tiresome gatekeeper who has been very very lucky at almost every point of his England reign. Even now he's rewriting the recent past to suit him, and the papers just lap it up. Reading between the lines he knows the players have got him out of jail on every occasion. England got to the final despite him, not because of him, although maybe always being on the easy side of the draw was his greatest contribution.

       

      England and Spain's teams have developed almost side by side in recent years, from the U17 World Cup, the U21 Euro Championship, and now in this tournament. Many of the players on both teams will have played in those matches. Think it'll be closer than many expect.

    I know we're all conditioned to believe it will be 2024 tomorrow, but in all honesty, does anyone really know? The way that history has been rewritten over the years, and calendars have been changed and altered, who really knows what year it is?

    I'm pleased to see we never had much coverage of the death of 'Pauline O'Grady' , I feel sorry when anyone dies, but I never liked him, and always thought that his smiles never reached as far as his eyes and there was something essentially false about his Mr nice guy image! My wife's friend is thoroughly convinced that he did 'For the love of dogs' totally free and never took a penny in wages from the show!🤔Maybe that's why he only left just over six million quid in his estate? He was the darling of many a sheep, but as I said, there was a falseness to him that put me off him, my wife thinks I must be one of the very few who didn't like him 'because most people did, and it was only weirdo's that didn't'!🤔

      ITV rolled out the sickbags over the weekend...endless repeats of For The Love of Paul O'Grady and compilations of the Dog programmes he did.

       

      Wasn't there a petition to have some sort of PoG statue somewhere for services to the Drag...sorry Dog industry....or was that an April Fools?

    My insight into the last two years is now provable. I said way back, roughly halfway through 2020 that the widespread wearing of facemasks would have a detrimental impact on the behaviour, psychology, learning and development of children and now, here we are, in April of 2022 and it is now being confirmed by Ofsted that many children are now basically retarded as a result of the face mask situation and several other facets of the Scamdemic. I called it. I should stop doubting myself. Somewhere on this forum there will be a post where I said this. I think even David Icke didn't touch upon this aspect of the Scamdemic much, if at all.

    I made the decision today that I will no longer be carrying the sunflower lanyard on me when I am out and about. I will not explain, justify our defend my right to breath properly. Any place which asks me to provide evidence of anything will be reported and/ or dealt with through official channels or being named and shamed.

      Last month I lost my exemption card (it must have slipped out of the lanyard thing when I was awkwardly getting in or out of the car - I am disabled), and for a few days I thought about just not wearing anything at all. It had been over a year, everyone knows the score, even the "official guidance" no longer requires it by law. Yet the majority of people still wear their masks, and the shops are still banging on about it, only now it's a "personal choice" (subtext: you're an evil bastard if you don't wear it). So I just keep the sunflower ribbon part visible and ignore any looks I may get (if people are twisted enough to confront a geezer in a wheelchair, then that's their problem). But I am getting to the stage where I may just toss it...especially if someone ever dared to question me or demand "proof".
