both died on the same date - april 5th.

Layne Staley....this is my favourite Alice in Chains track. I saw them live years ago supporting Metallica at the Milton Keynes Bowl..... but I only got to know this song from the fabulous Clerks soundtrack.

I don't know but something about Delores O'Riordan's apparent death by apparent drowning in her own bathtub just doesn't make sense.

It's like Jimmi Hendrix and Jim Morrison all over again...those guys were murdered. 

 

Who drowns in a bath? Nonsense.

 

Especially not a seasoned boozer like poor Delores.....I've been off my head and taken a bath many many times and never even come close to drowning.

We had some good days...........I pity the young they never knew that vibrancy of hope, power and infinite possibility when everything seemed to be on your side and culture was your friend and accomplice.

The night's forgot so you can best remember describing
The falsehood you concluded today

Kinda reminds me a bit of Richey James' writings for the Manic Street Preachers. Do you remember that guy? 

 

He was basically a poet and the guitarist James Dean Bradfield wrote the music over his words...
