I think in a few years from now, when all the data is analysed, we will know what exactly happened. However, by then the agenda will be so far advanced, it really won't matter.

As far as I've seen, it's almost all virtue signalling. They're not really scared of the virus. They just want to be 'seen to be doing the right thing'. They go out of their way to virtue signal. The rest are just complying because they are worried about receiving a fine they can't afford.
