  1. I agree this is a nightmare. But doesn’t mention door to door unless I missed it
  2. They’ll keep masks and social distancing and all the other ridiculous crap they can come up with because vaccine is only 90% effective. Mmm
  3. Agree with you. But unfortunately I think they will get away with it. Don’t think there is an occasion when a western government has been caught in the act and not wormed their way out. Remember regardless of who you vote for the government always wins. Anyway not trying to be a smart arse and I bloody hope you’re right
  4. Maybe we should pin down Tony Blair and give that cunt the 40% success rate vaccine
  5. From the bbc Covid vaccine: First 'milestone' vaccine offers 90% protection By James Gallagher Health and science correspondent Published 39 minutes ago Related Topics Coronavirus pandemic here we go. Got rid of trump no more problems with Biden in. Game on for the now
  6. Fl Hi Fluke, the post I wrote above refers to the you gov site rules of the U.K. You are absolutely right, you are exempt because of distress. As I said before distress is enormously open to quantification and opinion. You’re stress may not be mine for example. No one has the right to determine what and how much you find something stressful. Yet again gov advice makes that clear. There are NO LAWS saying you need to wear one.
  7. Know this has probably been posted before but makes it quite clear: When you do not need to wear a face covering In settings where face coverings are required in England, there are some circumstances where people may not be able to wear a face covering. From 5 November, see the guidance on national restrictions to find out which of these settings remain open to the public. Please be mindful and respectful of such circumstances, noting that some people are less able to wear face coverings, and that the reasons for this may not be visible to others. This includes (but is not limited to): children under the age of 11 (Public Health England does not recommend face coverings for children under the age of 3 for health and safety reasons) people who cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability where putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress if you are speaking to or providing assistance to someone who relies on lip reading, clear sound or facial expressions to communicate to avoid harm or injury, or the risk of harm or injury, to yourself or others ‒ including if it would negatively impact on your ability to exercise or participate in a strenuous activity police officers and other emergency workers, given that this may interfere with their ability to serve the public Look at point 3. This covers anyone who doesn’t want to wear a face mask in my opinion. No one can prove you wouldn’t be affected by severe stress. You wouldn’t be lying as severe stress can take effect an enormous amount of different ways. Being uncomfortable wearing a mask or visor is still very stressful if you do not wish to do so. The unseen mental health effects are also a valid excuse to refuse even on moral grounds. How you feel can definitely negatively affect your interactions with friends and loved ones, so causing you distress or stress. Just my thoughts though. The legal system is not quite precise about face coverings. As usual all British law or advice is so open to interpretation it’s ridiculous. Otherwise the government and their cronies wouldn’t be able to carry on as usual and then bullshit their way out.
  8. They all seem to accept their fate so quietly and submissively. Then again I suppose 10 coppers a person is probably quite intimidating.
  9. Probably go Xbox. Not 100%. Always had PlayStation but recently bought Xbox one s. Used to hate Xbox system but when I plugged in ps4 for first time in months it was really clunky and seemed miles apart from Xbox.
  10. Remember watching a program on telly a few years ago. They were talking to various Native American tribes about their culture etc. When one guy was asked about dream catchers he laughed. Said they were originally made by parents to soothe their children’s nightmares. Nothing mystical or fantastic just simple parenting to protect their loved ones. An aid to help the power of mind to relax and gain healing. Had many friends who had Indian spirit guides. All who happened to be famous figures rather conveniently. When the Indian in the tv program was asked about them he laughed even more. Said he could not believe white people could really believe the ancestors of his would protect their destroyers or their children.
  11. You still need it to watch BBC iPlayer regardless of live or not. Not really a great loss though.
  12. Need to be sacked. Supposedly there are ill patients on their wards. Sure this behaviour amounts to gross negligence.
  13. Absolutely right Velma. Posted something similar yesterday
  14. Have been reading a lot about common law and consent. I think given the situation that has been created by the government etc to deal with this bullshit they will probably use mental health issues as an excuse to override informed consent, or the refusal to give consent. This is just a small part of common law but very telling: CONSENT TO TREATMENT (PART IV) INTRODuCTION AND PRINCIPlES Introduction Part IV of the Order is concerned with the treatment of people who experience a mental disorder, both with and without their consent. It describes the procedures and safeguards in relation to specific treatments for mental disorder. under existing common law within this jurisdiction, all mentally competent adults have an absolute right to give or withhold consent to any medical treatment. Consent to a particular form of treatment allows that treatment to be given lawfully. To give treatment without informed and continuing consent may constitute assault and trespass against the person. The common law allows treatment to be given without consent if a person is considered to lack the capacity to consent to it. In these circumstances, treatment can be given if it is deemed to be in the person’s best interests Think the above rule might just wave ciao ciao to refusal of consent. The dice are always loaded in the system and you ain’t allowed at the craps table!
  15. A good read to give hope is about the Finnish resistance to the Soviet Union. Basic weapons, improvised, whatever was at hand. They gave a pretty good showing by all accounts. Not saying we need to do that. There are plenty of ways to resist. Agree that Farage is useful at the moment. I just think he’s a useful idiot who will sell his supporters in down the line when he’s achieved his personal goal.
  16. Not trying to be pessimistic and don’t think giving up and dying is a great idea. Just not seeing any real movement of resistance to what’s happening. I personally don’t know what is the best way to change what is happening. There’s no real banner for people of all ways of thinking to rally around at the moment. Don’t know what that is but I will gladly fight to the end for the right movement that genuinely wants to stop this crap without hidden self interest and agenda
  17. Think unfortunately this will not be the case. There is much talk, not necessarily by you, that we are the 99%. Alas the 99% are the sheeple who will welcome this all with open arms. By now they’ve done such a good job of installing fear in the masses and turning the masses against each other( grass your neighbour etc). Johnson could come out and announce that it was all a big joke. All that would happen is the public would call for his removal from office so that he could be replaced with someone who wants to carry on as we are.
  18. Just a note on Florence police fight in video. A friend of my lady who lives there has translated what was not clearly heard. The one in charge stopped the other police from attacking the public.
  19. I know it’s a bit off topic but I’ve just been reading through my local mp George Eustaces voting history. Now I knew he was a complete arsehole but after reading this the guys a psychopath. Literally hates any human or natural existence unless your obscenely wealthy or privately owned. Has voted consistently against any working class hope. Used to buy my meat at his family farm before but now I’ll eat my dogs shite first. Anyway excuse the rant, back to what the other arseholes are doing!
  20. Sorry couldn’t help but post this. The arrogance of this cunt is unbelievable. Like any normal person gives a toss if he dies or not. The Duke of Cambridge contracted Covid-19 earlier this year, palace sources have told the BBC. It is believed he tested positive in April at a similar time to his father, the Prince of Wales. According to the Sun newspaper, which first reported the story, Prince William, 38, kept his diagnosis private to avoid alarming the nation.
  21. Have a Nexstar 8se. Was looking forward to the seasons darker skies. Unfortunately had about 5 days of minging weather. Supposedly better early next week though.
