  1. This fraud has to be the vainest man in politics. He's reappeared after a few years in the wilderness with big, staring young eyes (definitely had some sagging removed from all sides), a fake tan and some kind of hair weave with added dye. He clearly spends more time in front of the mirror wondering how he looks than being concerned about the people he's supposed to represent.
  2. Spot-on posts. The alarming thing about what seems now to be a tidal wave of anxiety is that the majority are younger people. Personally, the people I know who have it to an extent that they have medical assistance haven't even started taking on the burden and stresses of what most adults have over the years. By that I mean marriage, kids, mortgage, let alone having to go to war etc. It reminds me of a quote from Victor Lewis-Smith when ME became headline news - 'I wonder how many farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa have been diagnosed with it?'. We're on a very slippery slope.
  3. The cultural takeover continues apace: https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/safer-brazilian-butt-lifts-to-go-on-offer-in-uk-to-stop-women-wanting-bigger-bot/ Just a few seemingly short years ago women craved smaller asses - 'Does my bum look big in this?' anyone? I expect many still do.
  4. From personal experience I know people who have not been vaxxed but say they have in order to reassure older family. It may also be working the other way - people who have been jabbed realising it's been a con but unwilling to drop the facade. I guess peer pressure can be mentally paralysing to many.
  5. Nice chemtraily sunset over London this evening, with added strange bendy one:
  6. The self-proclaimed 'hard-man of Brexit' begins to apologise for being the 'hard-man of Brexit': https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/northern-ireland-republic-of-ireland-brexit-chris-heatonharris-james-cleverly-b1029668.html
  7. It's been touched on before in this thread, but the Queen's cause of death won't be announced until next week at the earliest. Her mother died 'in her sleep' in her 100s, despite being a raging alcoholic most of her life by many accounts, while Prince Phil died of 'old age'. According to this article, that kind of fudged explanation may not be enough due to it happening in Scotland, but I'm not holding my breath: https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/993919-royal-fans-to-learn-of-queen-elizabeths-real-cause-of-death-amid-blame-game Interesting that senior Royals seem to be immune to anything but age.
  8. The acoustics in Westminster Hall are off the scale, clearly for good reason. There's minimal sound-absorbing material in the place, which all adds to the intimidatory nature of the spectacle. Every 20 mins there's a changing of the guard, signalled by some character bashing a rod against stone, followed by several other characters marching off out one exit, making as much heel-noise as possible. All (see-through) theatre.
  9. This is the first relevant article on DDG. According to this report, as long as they offer an alternative payment to cash it's ok (seems the article is from March). One of my locals (south London) has been card only since at least March UK businesses can refuse to accept cash if they offer alternative payment methods. Martin Lewis explained that companies throughout the United Kingdom could decide whether they want to allow cash or not. Some businesses prefer electronic payments to prevent cash clutter or viral spread.. https://theprogressionplaybook.com/can-uk-businesses-refuse-to-accept-cash/
  10. There must be a direct correlation between the people who had the jab and the people in the queue.
  11. This is the thing that gets me with all this. At least Beckham met her, possibly several times, and chatted, whereas 99.99 per cent of people in the never-ending queue only saw her on TV or in a newspaper. It feels like the mass hysteria of Diana over again.
  12. God help us. They're having another Princes' Vigil round the coffin tomorrow. The death in Scotland was clearly not random. Everything has been arranged to the minute. It's like listening to paint dry.
  13. It's interesting regarding the Royals and longevity. According to official stats 1 in 2 people in the UK will suffer from cancer at some point in their lives. When was the last time we heard of a Royal with cancer? Margaret? They have an enviable record when it comes to the Big C. Are the rumours about there being a cure true?. Mmmmm.
  14. Another aspect of the timing. Officially a monarch's funeral is nine days after the death. I guess they could bend the rules but as it is, the funeral falls slap-bang on a Saturday. More convenience? Who knows?.
  15. Probably the opposite. They may have pumped her with stuff to keep her going until the time was right.
  16. Timing is suspicious. Harry conveniently in town, plus Boris out the way by a couple of days. They wouldn't have allowed him to mumble and bluster his way through the 12 days of mourning.
  17. I've always been sceptical about the moon landings given it was clearly a proxy war during the height of the cold war, not to mention the technical issues of how they managed to launch off the moon on the return journey. 50 years later they can't even get an unmanned craft off the ground at the second attempt? Pffft.
  18. This is somewhat Irish-centric but can be applied anywhere regarding where it's going for homeowners: https://www.bitchute.com/video/GRts93d2wJvS/
  19. Bit of a cheap shot as she was clearly caught up in the immediate overblown aftermath, but this was fairly amusing: Speaking to BBC Sport, England great Rachel Brown-Finnis said: “Unbelievable. I'm tearful with joy.
  20. The police are coming out, but not to a crime near you: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11055517/117-police-officers-tell-bosses-theyre-non-binary-1-200-CENT-increase-previous-year.html
  21. With Germany meeting England in the final of the women's Euro 2022 it's going to be interesting how the BBC approach it seeing as they showed their prejudiced hand way too early a few days ago by criticising the lack of diversity in the England team. Well guess what, England have gone on to reach the final along with Germany, whose first 11 is also all white (not even a Turk). Will the beeb now retract their comments and accept that these teams were picked to win the tournament and not some virtue-signalling nonsense? Unlikely.
  22. Mourdant is currently odds-on with the bookies to be next leader. Rishi isn't even next in the betting - Liz Truss is. They're all odious, but Mourdant gives off particularly bad vibes.
  23. Vallance is back! But now with climate in his sights. You'd think they'd be embarrassed by the predictability of it all, but no. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-11013283/Sir-Patrick-Vallance-warns-MPs-plunged-crisis-impacts-climate-change.html
  24. I'm praying self-proclaimed 'hardman of Brexit' Steve Baker gets in, just to see him squirm.
  25. Whatever people think of Boris, this feels like what happened in the US with Trump. Whoever takes over, things will deteriorate (for the plebs) quicker than if he was in.
