I have tried mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) under my pillow .
Some people used to smoke it as a dream enhancer but I just like the smell of the crushedherb.
It was few years ago when I tried so can't remember exactly what happened, but as it is growing now in the wild I will pick some later and maybe try again.

The night before a close friend died last year, he came to me in a dream looking like he did 20 years earlier.
He called my name we smiled at each other then he turned and walked off.
Next day he was gone. Told a couple of people and they all try and rationalise it.
Dreaming for me is too unusual to be reduced to chemical reactions only, as we are so vulnerable to attack when asleep, just for chemical reactions to occur.
I Imagine it would be more evolutionarily sensible to sleep lightly?

My dreams feel as real as my daily life. sometimes even more real.
I have spoken to Jesus and God in dreams, jimi hendrix once gave me a telecaster in a dream and told me to keep practising and never quit..
I always keep a dream diary as well.
My own thoughts are that our spirit/soul whatever you call it travels to dreamland when we sleep & it is where we go when we die.

I had (as far as I know) the flu19 virus in late march.
Coughed for a week, felt slightly different and tired.
Anyway as I started to get over it I felt it leave me and stand by my right side one evening when just playing guitar, like a human sized shadow, before melting away after about 5 minutes.
I wasn't scared by it , it didn't feel to have an aggression about it.
I haven't mentioned this to anyone else tbh, just a an unusual experience I had.

It makes me read the most banal looking article comments "my mum is a nurse and says wear the mask." in a new light.!

It was comforting, he was a good friend.
We used to play in bands and just jam together when we could so it was a big loss to me to lose my musical friend.
I don't usually even broach the subject with most people, their mind seems to be in a small box that is closed.
