How is it possible that David doesn't believe in global warming? Not man made, not such a great threat, not even happening, whatever exactly he believes about the subject.
I've just finished his book on green politics from 1990, "It doesn't have to be this way." Icke clearly has a passion for environmentalism and a great deal of knowledge on the subject, so the fact that he says the things he says now about the climate just baffles me.
I'm no ecologist, I'm no climate scientist, I'm not going to attempt to argue the scientific case for catastrophic, man-made global warming, I'm only going to say that the overwhelming majority of climate scientists say that it's man-made, and that the fact of the warming itself and it's catastrophic consequences are impossible to deny. I mean, has there really NOT been a massive increase in forrest fires? Have the polar ice-caps not receeded enormously over fifity-plus years? Are we not witnissing terrible floods and droughts and extreme threats to the global food supply, etc, etc, etc, whatever is causing them?
How could catastrophic, man-made global warming not be an absolutely undeniable? How could all of those scientists be wrong? Aren't there grave and terrible ecological threats to all life on earth regardless of the cause?
Is there anyone on here who agrees with the whole "climate hoax" thing who can answer these questions?
