@Morpheus Why is it so difficult for people who believe in Christianity to believe that there were far more ancient religions on this plain way before the rise of Christ? It would actually strengthen my faith to learn about pre-flood religions with parallels to Christianity. I didn’t know Christians denied that. What I perceive is people using similarities between ancient religions and Christianity to disgrace it. If Horus and Jesus were both born miraculously, the next logical step is not: therefore Christianity is bunk stay away from it. Some of the “similarities” found often have nothing to do with Christianity like the drug book example I gave in the post above. Why do Christians or any religion for that matter, believe they're right and everyone else is wrong? Conviction is different from pride. An atheist, for example, is not an atheist if he believes there might be a god. Atheists are completely convinced there is no god and they are zealous. They will shout it from the rooftops. Same for a Christian/Buddhist/Hindu. There is no half way. So if they are all put in a room together there will be drama. Part of Christianity is to go share it with other people, but teaching through actions, along with evangelism is more effective. Jesus said in Matthew 7:1-2 “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” (He goes on to say some really good, slightly humorous stuff after that.) So being judgmental of others because of their beliefs is against Jesus’ teachings. I admit it’s very difficult to put into practice. Despite the numerous religions that exist today, why do you place Christianity above all other religions? At the risk of boring you: I was raised in a pagan town that openly worshipped Dionysus/Bacchus. I have a depiction of the Roman god Janus tattooed between my shoulder blades. I was a shithead who made a career out of transgressing God’s laws. I didn’t have the faintest idea I ever did anything wrong until I started looking into Christianity, and I didn’t start looking into Christianity until I found this forum. At the risk of sounding like a nut: I started practicing witchcraft and getting attacked by a lot of demonic shit last summer. It was then that Jesus intervened in my life through dreams. Upon studying the Bible I see glaring differences between what I thought Christianity was and what it is. What I found is the best thing that ever happened in my life. The innumerable mechanisms that steer people away from Christianity, I believe, are by design. After prayerfully studying the Bible, (not the same as worshiping a book) I know the source of these diversions.

Respectfully to you: Why can’t people decipher Romanism from original Christianity and why do they use Greco-Roman paganism and philosophy to discredit it? Why do they use Babylonian, Assyrian, you name it? It is not the same. Can’t you see that Christianity is not the religion of empires, wealth, and decadence? No that’s the exact opposite of what it is! Jesus was born in a barn! God’s original chosen people were sheep farmers. Jesus, Michael, the archangel, humbled himself to be a baby and grow up as a mere human. Why can’t people see the message is to humble not elevate yourselves. Can you not see the deception? Before anyone opens the Bible to even begin to study it they have gone through shit tons of videos. Garbling, mangling, creating bias against the teachings of the Bible, appealing to the desire for novel information that makes one feel revolutionary. Here in front of me I’m holding this book: The Immortality Key: The Secret History of the Religion With No Name From the sleeve: “There is zero archeological evidence for the original Eucharist - the sacred wine said to guarantee life after death for those who drink the blood of Jesus. The holy grail and its miraculous contents have never been found. In absence of any hard data, whatever happened at the last supper remains an article of faith for more than 2.5 billion Christians.” Their premise is that the last supper was a psychedelic drug trip. Atheists and spiritualists seeking to gratify themselves would probably dig it because it uses “science” to discredit an event in the Bible, that completely went over their heads, in order to say, “Cool. Drugs were used in antiquity.” It just as stupid as them going “Oh pyramids! Oh it has to be aliens.” Where in the Bible does it say there is a guarantee of life after death from any literal drink? No fucking where that’s where! How this elite, fancy, learned doctor has not read the Bible and understood I can’t fathom. Jesus spoke in parables. He spoke symbolically why cant that register? Why does a suburban housemom only reading for six months know there are two definitions of wine in the Bible one that is non-fermented grape juice and one that is fermented, and they don’t? The answer is they never bothered to find out because they don’t want to. They just want to attack. Why?

I would be an 'unbeliever' as I don't believe humanity has sinned and I don't seek redemption. However, I very much have Spirit and 'the sign of the times' is very comprehensible from where I stand. Perhaps you can see sin from a more practical perspective: The definition being transgression of God’s laws, one of which is “thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” Exodus 20:16 A factory moves into a town polluting the water and air. The company suppresses information on the toxicity of the factory waste. Leukemia and other cancers develop in the children of the town. This happens on a worldwide scale to the point that almost everything in modern society, food, water, air, male, female, is a lie. Covetousness, the core of consumerism, is destroying the entire earth and reducing humans to something resembling shrews. Adultery destroys families and consequently ruins children psychologically. They grow up unable to trust, and both sexes are taught to objectify the opposite sex, ensuring more fragmented families. Populations decline, fatherless children produce poverty and perpetuate despair. The wages of sin is death. Transgression of God’s laws lead to destruction. Since God’s laws are now considered optional, even among Christians, everything is a sucky lie. Christianity is holding oneself personally accountable to God’s law and the testimony of Christ, which is, above all, to “love one another.” John 13:34-35 This is hard, which is why most pass on it.

I Don’t Like Your Tactics: Psychology of Conformity

From We Have Been Harmonized: Life In China’s Surveillance State by Kai Strittmatter: The Mission of the Great Yu “The Great Yu was a mythical emperor who tamed the huge river in Chinese legend. The Great Yu had learned from the catastrophic experiences of his predecessors, who could come up with no better solution than simply damming the river, though the dams soon broke again. “But the Great Yu relied on a combination of damming and channeling; he stopped the flow in one place and let it go again in another. That brought him success. And this is even more necessary with public opinion. Free speech is a natural force that requires clever taming.” Kind of like locking down society and then letting us out to pasture now and then. Like sacrificing one or two hated politicians to please dissenters, but showing who really is in control by military occupation of the US capitol. Or the controlled rollout of the covid vaccines, keeping supply and demand in check while squashing any reports of adverse effects... -
Have you tried Chaga mushroom? Used to get the big chunks and drop a few chunks into a slow cooker on low with purified water for 24 hours. The taste is good and the chunks can be reused. Used to put that in the child’s sippy cup and lions mane powder in his baby mush. Since you do essential oils, Hinoki and frankincense are said to have nootropic effects. Peppermint too. Hope you get your energy back.

From We Have Been Harmonized: Life In China’s Surveillance State by Kai Strittmatter: “It’s a tried and true tactic: steal your enemy’s words and make them your own. As George Orwell taught us, freedom becomes slavery, ignorance becomes strength. And China is a democratic state under rule of law.” “The subjects of the regime experience their ‘elections,’ ‘sacred right to vote,’ and ‘freedom’ as an eternal farce. In this way, citizens are inoculated against subversive influences. This perverted language makes the population immune and mute.” “(The autocrat) creates a world where things mean the opposite of what they used to, a world in which balance can only be maintained if everyone huddles tightly around the leader. It is structured in such a way that the last person to believe the earth turns around the sun will start wondering whether he is the madman. He will have to stop trusting his eyes, his ears, and his memory, and simply chew the cud of the information he’s been force-fed.” Is this how you felt when the pandemic shoe dropped? I remember a year ago questioning whether I was the crazy one or was I sane and everyone else crazy. Either way is a MF. Is this the China Model come to the West or has it been so all along?

Well satan is hidden in plain sight. Based on the motives and actions of humanity, we are more beholden to him. Why should God reveal Himself to those who don’t even acknowledge Him as their own? You can just as soon ask, “Where is Science? Where is Reason? Logic?” For a great many humans have put their faith in those not in God. I can give you a stack of books that prove humans are not rational creatures, and in many cases, lack basic common sense. If people didn’t operate on manufactured, popular consensus and prejudice they would read, abide by, and hold themselves accountable to God’s laws. They provide the most rational, sane way for us to exist on this cursed planet. Because repentance offends the proud, discontent outweighs gratitude, and subordination to anything but ones own desires repulses those who want to “do what thou wilt,” here you have the world we live in. Because humanity has rejected God, His laws, and His Son, He is not here. He gave us (humanity) a choice, a chance. And we squandered it. The real inconvenient truth is “the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23. We have been given a path to overcome the world and way out of the trap of death, despite our sins, by Jesus’ example and sacrifice, but we don’t want it! There’s too much good shit on TV. The candy bar tastes really chocolaty, and why read any book when it’s easier to just google it. If one is honest in his desire to find God, seek Him out through studying His word and appealing to Him in prayer.

Escaping the Kerala Brethren

I used to wonder why I never heard, even from the most derelict people I’ve known, some of the things I’ve heard on this forum. They just wouldn’t go there. I was thinking about the population decline in Europe and the possible forces behind it. The values from the French Revolution that spread all over Europe may be correlated to the aging population problem. Atheism may be the poisoned waters that are choking the life out of those beautiful countries. “They seek to break down the restraints of the law of God and promise men liberty through transgression of its precepts. Reproof of sin still arouses the spirit of hatred and resistance. When God’s messages of warning are brought to the conscience, men justify themselves and seek the sympathy of others in their course of sin. Instead of correcting their errors, they excite indignation against the reprover, as if he were the cause of difficulty.” - Ellen White, 1858 This used to be my m.o. as well, as it seems to be for many. -
This is very exciting! The Holy Spirit told me to study John 13 and I couldn’t get over why Jesus would wash even Judas Iscariot’s feet. Couldn’t get over it. But now I understand how to be marked in head and hand for God and that is to be of service to others, no matter their ways, and love and follow Gods commandments because they are just and good. Slowly, (very slowly) I am also being washed. To walk in the world is hard and we need to wash each other’s feet but Jesus will clean out the garbage from our minds so we can continue to do right actions. Never mind about the enemy’s mark. It is not any longer our concern if we are focused on Jesus.

The lazy are fed dumbed-down, secondhand, half-truths from rumors and media, accept them instead of finding out for themselves, and opine despite their ignorance of what is actually written. The idea that the antichrist is some current president or character in the future is false. Terms that originate in the Bible should be examined using the Bible, not idle imagination. Upon studying the Bible, the antichrist is revealed to be the apostate church, and those who seek to undermine and distort the original Christian religion. John said two millennia ago, “And as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists” 1 John 2:18. In end times “knowledge shall be increased” Daniel 12:4. Study of the Bible alongside historical events reveals that all the prophecies have thus far come true. We can also learn from misinterpretations made in the past. Understanding Revelations, in addition to the literary techniques employed, requires learning about the tabernacle, which was configured according to divine specifications and positioned to match the heavenly sanctuary. It requires knowing the atonement procedures that occurred in the sanctuary, which is comprised of the holy and most holy places, and is a shadow of what happens in the real sanctuary in heaven. It requires understanding that Christ is our intercessor and minister in the sanctuary in heaven, and the distinction between passage of time on earth and time in heaven. The book of Daniel is important to understanding some of the book of Revelations. The dreams in the book of Daniel are concerned with the rise and fall of geopolitical powers, and so is Revelations 13. That said, look at the how Revelations 13 characterizes the end time to determine whether it describes the modern age. Papal Rome is the little horn power that arose out of the fourth beast, Rome, in Daniel 7. “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws” Daniel 7:25. The papacy is also known as the first beast rising out of the sea in Revelations 13. The second beast rising out of the earth that has two horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon is the United States government. The lightning that came down from the sky are the atomic bombs that were dropped around the world prior to and during WWII. This is when The US became a world superpower. The second beast (US) deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image of the first beast and gives breath to it. The image of the beast that the United States tells the people to make is the modern state of Israel, which was recognized as an independent nation by the United States in the year 1948. Harry Truman, who influenced the United Nations to support the decision, was the 33rd president of the United States and a 33rd degree Freemason. “And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who do not worship the image of the beast to be slain” Revelations 13:15. The newly formed state of Israel was populated, given political power, and was involved in many violent conflicts. Given this geopolitical interpretation of Revelations 13, is the mark in verse 13:17 the six pointed star, the Star of David? The mark, name, or number of the name is received by all to buy and sell, but not worshipped by all. In Revelations 14:9, the third angel makes the distinction “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on the forehead or on his hand, he also will drink wine of God’s wrath.” If the mark was literal, like a microchip or vaccine it would condemn everyone who has been forced to receive it. Is the mark of the beast a spiritual as well as a literal one?

Marketing has always been about creating needs where they previously didn’t exist. It’s the driver of the modern economy. The TV is a lack box in that it transmits the message that you need this to be that. You are not okay unless you have this lifestyle, or support this bunch of causes to have an identity. You are constantly compared to a predetermined ideal that you do not embody. This cycles until you are programmed to operate based upon lack. It bores an unfillable hole into your psyche. You become the lack machine. Social media is programming on autopilot. It is lack machines throwing up all over each other. Users strive to be the ideal that others want to emulate: more fashionable, worldly, healthier, more in-the-know than one another. Nothing is relevant unless it is broadcasted to the world for consumption. Any status obtained on social media is purely make believe. The true status is that of slave to the lack box. An artificial life lived for the sake of a fickle audience. To extricate oneself from lack boxes is not to fall into obscurity. It is deprogramming. An attempt to renew the mind and heal the void.

Headaches and lack of sleep are adverse effects of screen exposure, but do not necessarily indicate addiction. Signs of overuse: Compulsive checking of newsfeeds and social media accounts Feeling butt hurt/ placing too much value on replies and approval Inability to focus on anything is an extremely devastating sign of overuse. Feelings of hopelessness or impending doom indicate too much consumption of news, and over exposure to disturbing videos and images can lead to invasive thoughts. Inability to read a book that interests you without your mind wandering or checking your device The threshold of excitement or variety has been tinkered with to where real life seems too mundane without screens Miscellaneous: If you are receiving one package in the mail per day for several months, stop shopping. If you feel a need to exploit your sexuality to garner (unpaid) attention from the opposite sex it’s time to detox. Can’t manage 30 days? Try one day a week (preferably a Saturday) when you can refrain from consuming all media. Or eliminate device usage from your morning routine. At the very least, shield yourself, like you would shield your child from disturbing content. Do you really need more unsettling images floating around in your mind?

Kurt Cobain totally ripped them off in “Come as you are”.

Nope. Not those ones.

Unfortunately, a lot of the destruction done to the mind is likely permanent. 1. The fact that you hearted my post and I hearted your posts is not helpful to the cause. Approval, however silly it seems, is a huge part of the hook. Being raised with the TV we are conditioned to want to be on TV. Social media says, “Look you are on TV!” And the little bits of acknowledgement received from others only feeds the delusion. 2. Existing in online communities in place of real communities contributes to societal breakdown and personal alienation. The people in your physical world need you more than your online group. Putting yourself out in your hometown will save the world. 3. A 30 day screen detox done periodically will not break the addiction entirely, but changes will occur. Observations: It sounds cliche but after withdrawals, energy greatly increases. Time is freed up for other pursuits and there is impetus to accomplish more. Ability to experience life somewhat uncorrupted. Seemingly mundane things are seen with greater resolution. Like individual droplets of vapor rising from your coffee. However, absurd behavior of other people becomes more starkly apparent. It is helpful to record changes and observations. I understand it is difficult for men because you feel a duty to be informed for reasons of leadership. Everyone looks to you guys for what to be done. But you also deserve to reclaim your lives from the hold these things have on you. Everything will be there when you return, and others will be more than happy to fill you in on the day’s atrocities.

Unfortunately, nothing in the Bible will resonate with the “intellectual,” the proud, or the comfortable nihilist. In this age it often takes going “to hell and back” for the words of the Bible to make sense. This is why we hear transformation stories of addicts and prostitutes, thieves and liars. We have have been on the other extreme and it is not the place to be. We are allowing Jesus, through prayer and his word, to repair what we have damaged and are trying to become worthy of him. However lofty the goal, that’s the idea. It certainly doesn’t deserve as much vitriol as is being hurled at it. So many have died just to get the Bible into our hands, just so we can have a chance. This is meaningless to the numb, but it means everything to those who can see the gifts it contains. So much is revealed while on this path about ourselves and about what lies within the Bible. Prophecies, parables, and history are intellectually stimulating but the real treasure is spiritual development. It is really exciting to have found this treasure, and I wish there were more people to share it with.

The internet is different from any other drug because it tailors itself to exploit each individual’s weaknesses. Users behave like crack addicted caricatures seeking dopamine hits of attention and approval, bits of information and entertainment. Even a comparatively light user experiences withdrawal symptoms of anxiousness, inability to focus, and a nagging urge to consume anything in the first days of detoxification. The culturally created need to consume is the driving force of industrial society. This post-industrial, virtual hybrid is consuming itself into oblivion. When one watches a movie or TV show, reality falls away in favor of the programming. A gap is created in the continuity of experience and is filled with sounds and images provided by the programmer. Memory is disoriented because although the viewer is able to recall the program, he usually cannot recollect the specific context in his life in which it was viewed. Multiply this effect by the number of programs consumed in a lifetime and you have complete mind fuckery. Because programs consist of dramatic and sometimes traumatic content they are associated with an array of emotions in the viewer’s subconscious mind. This is the goal of programming: behavior modification by eliciting emotional responses to stimuli: mass mind control. Disruption of continuity of experience correlates to disruption of thought processes. The internet blows to doors off this phenomenon and creates dependence upon itself for what used to be basic cognitive functions. The ability to focus attention, memorize, and problem solve have all been surrendered to screens. To the extent that clocks, calendars, grocery lists, and stores disappear from physical reality, so does the individual recede from the physical world. This half-functioning person is primed to invite all aspects of his existence to be uploaded. Work, education, commerce, sexuality, even family have all been surrendered to screens! The situation is grave. In referring to the internet, Tucker Carlson remarked, “Tech companies control the only speech that matters.” A woman rides her bike holding a phone in front of her face. Reality is debased in favor of bloated self-importance. These grotesque absurdities, along with the tyranny of the post-covid world manifest solely from our addiction to devices. The only rebellion is to break the addiction and regain perspective.

Ooh here’s the sun in the Isha “The face of truth is hidden by your orb Of gold, O sun. May you remove your orb So that I, who adore the true, may see The glory of truth. O nourishing sun, Solitary traveler, controller, Source of life for all creatures, spread your light And subdue your dazzling splendor So that I may see your blessed Self. Even that very Self am I!”
