  1. In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37, the one who had mercy came from the least likely place. God’s chosen people ignored the suffering man and stepped over him. The lesson is directed to all believers: We cannot presume we are holy and clean, nor should we presume others are not. We are all sinners. I personally cannot say how I would act under duress. Would I go into the burning building or run away? Would I render aid? Would I renounce Jesus as my savior if it saved me from persecution? Many have. Jesus knew Peter would deny him when the time came and it was so. Jesus knows us more than we know ourselves. The only thing we can do is continue to let him transform us, so when our time of trial comes we will act with mercy and bravery. In Acts 10, after the stoning of Steven, Jesus instructed his disciples to go preach to the Gentiles, symbolized by the unclean animals. By going out into the world and showing mercy through our actions we do what is required and bear fruit. For instance in the US there is another great influx of Central Americans. Is it right that the border has been opened? No. Will it bring the wealth of middle classes down? Yes. Is it our concern as Christians to worry over our wealth being taken away by powers over which we have no control? No. It is our commission to minister to the poor, to help those in need, to feed, clothe. To not turn our backs on anyone. And to not fear for not receiving what we need because we are in God’s hands. The coin The Jews ended up killing Jesus. If God’s original chosen people were capable of such an abominable act, what does that mean for us? We must be on guard for our own souls against all manner of corruption, never resting on our laurels. Because none of us are holy, none worthy, not even through good works. The flip side Matthew 17:20 “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Through faith in Christ, even the Gentiles, even the lowest of the low can receive his power.
  2. I’m honored as well that you are here. If more “truther” types study the Bible, pray, and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding (because God wants us to understand), we could uncover so much more.
  3. Hi JosiahIV. Thank you for the insight on the locusts! I am glad you are studying as well. I confess I do not understand your image. If you have time would you explain it? Also, the last point in the notes below the image, #6. Could you elaborate?
  4. The Four Horsemen Are Not of the Apocalypse The Time of the End When Jesus referred to ‘end times,’ he was not speaking of a span of a couple years or even twenty years. The time of the end began at his departure and spans across at least two thousand years to the literal end of the world as we know it. The horsemen in Revelations 6:1-8 are not God’s punishments to evil men at the close of time. The four horsemen symbolize mankind’s own downward progression that leads to its inevitable self-destruction. The first three riders are manifestations of the sole enterprise of leaders of men: aggrandizement via exploitation. Each rider depicts a predominant method of acquiring power. The first three horsemen do not replace each other. They coexist. We do not need to be wary of these horsemen because they have always been with us and are with us now, as we are subject to them. Rev 6:2 “a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer.” The white horse rider represents empire building, which spanned the centuries and geopolitical powers, and continues in the present day. Rev 6:4 “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” The rider on the red horse signifies war. Rev 6:5-6 “a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and wine.” The black horse and rider represent mercantilism and manipulation of currency. Rev 6:8 “behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. These are the results of exploitation of God’s creation: men destroying each other, coveting, losing their souls, and tearing each other limb from limb. Instead of being stewards and living in peace, according to the will of God, humans succumb to the deceitful temptations of Satan, exploit for gain, and reap Hell on Earth.
  5. Some Notes On the Structure of the book of Revelations You have already heard that Revelations is structured as a chiasm. From God Cares: the message of Revelation to you and your family by C. Mervyn Maxwell There are two halves of Revelations. The first, from Rev 1:10 - 14:20, is the historical half. From 15:1 - 22:9 is the eschatological half. Eschatological- fancy word for concerning the end of the world. The divisions of the book and how they mirror each other is detailed in the picture below. (Keep in mind that when the book was written, there were no divisions of chapters but a continuous flow. The divisions have been created for referencing purposes.) Also, within the structure of all the groups of 7, the seven seals, trumpets, and plagues, there is a message inserted between the sixth and seventh prophecy. For instance, in the seven trumpets, after trumpet 6 (Rev 9:13-21), there’s an interruption between it and the seventh trumpet (Rev 11:15-19). There are said to be chiasms within some of the chapters as well.

  7. Prologue written by Covino vivhiin l domo is addressed in their own prop and the gods of their own party invited. And this description means planet Saturn was joined in his own home Saturday, which is the year of Capricorn c.ccïlv in three months, namely January, February and March; nevertheless not have been deepened in conjunction with Saturn, but one after another person in a different time of three months, and especially in that intenlio to describe magnam conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, which would result in Aquarius for nine years only once. And for this, I will describe the hostility arises against these two planets both in complexion and in operation; Saturn is cold and dry excessive, and thus corrupting human life ; JUPITER is warm and temperate; hurnanae so called friends of nature. - And follow the second part of this book upon a cause, and an altercation of these two sources of the planets, the sun is said to be the judge, and with good reason, since He is the king and the prince of all the other planets. According to a heart cell called pliilosopborum. Because the heart of man is in the middle of the body bu- like mani and Governor of all limbs, as Aristotle says the animals, so the sun is in the middle of the planets. Also, when the light of all the bodies of the celestial orders by means of the flow in etagant in this lower world, but only those from the sun, nor shall have the light, so that many people say pbilosopb, it follows that all things seem to be their own and the powers of the bodies of the celestial orders iníluentias shall have from the sun. From this it is clear that all judgments operate on the principles of heavenly bodies dependent on the sun. 8. Preface written by a French scholar in 1841: The pamphlet here published borrows what may be of interest from the great catastrophe which devastated the known world in the middle of the fourteenth century. The Black Death 'devastated the West, filled towns and countryside with victims, stirred up the sect strange Flagellants, caused the massacre of the Jews; as such, it is important; it still has them because it is a formidable example of the bubo plague invasions in Europe, invasions which, since the seventeenth century, have been limited either to the coastline of this part of the world, or to the borders by which it affects Muslim countries. The author of this piece of verse is a certain Symon de Covino, "Maistre Symon deCuiro, doctor of Paris and great astrologian," who predicted the great mortality that was at that time. The book was composed in Paris in 1350. Its subject is that of Boccaccio. Certainly his verses are far from worth the prose of the Italian author; but he has the merit, great for us, of having been an eyewitness to what he tells us, and it can serve to supplement and confirm certain peculiarities of the history of the Black Death. The name that the author gives to this disease, pestis inguinaria, shows that it was the bubo plague, the true plague of the East. “A burning pain,” says our poet, “sometimes begins in the groin, sometimes in the armpits, or spreads to the precordial region. Fatal fevers seize the vital parts; the “heart and lungs are totally infected; the respiratory tract “abhors this virus; also the forces suddenly fall, and "the patient can only endure this scourge for a short time. " days. " A singular thing is that, according to the author, the plague marked, its influence on the whole population: "The pale face," the redness of the face takes on a dark shade; there is hardly a single living being on which pallor has not left an imprint. It suffices to have the face of men and women to "read there the fatal handwriting and the blow which threatens them; this "pale hue announces the approaching death, and before the fatal day the “Death appears to be sitting on the face. " “In so many places, has reigned for so many years. While it was ravaging the peoples of the South and the East, the Western nations and the cold regions of the North confided in vain in the greatest purity of their atmosphere. Nothing is useful, neither the heat, nor the cold, nor the salubrity of the countries, however great it is. Whether high mountains or deep valleys, an island in the sea, a muddy plain, a" land bristling with rocks, a forest, a sandy shore, a "swamp, the disease is spreading everywhere We wait for winter, the" cold is ineffective against her; the heat of summer, the sweetness of spring, the course of the moon, the revolution of such and such a star, nothing can stop its ravages. It does not matter that the aquilon "replaced the humid south wind, that of the. sunset has no more force than that of the rising; no breath is salutary, on "whatever side of the horizon it comes." After the plague which devastated Marseilles in 1720, the doctors who had treated the sick in this afflicted city were divided on the question of contagion; nowadays, this question has arisen again, and several doctors deny that this disease has the property of being transmitted. In this plague, mortality mainly struck the lower classes. "The one," says our author, "who was malnourished with insubstantial food, fell struck at the slightest breath of the disease; the vulgar, a very poor crowd, die a well-received death, for to live is to die. But the cruel fate “respected the princes, the knights, the judges; of these few "succumb, because a sweet life is given to them in the" world. This remark on the greater mortality among the lower classes relative to the upper classes, was done too many times not to depend on permanent conditions; and probably Simon de Covino touched the real cause by saying that the sweet life in this world was the one that lasted the longest. The mortality was excessive. Mr. Hecker, in the work quoted above, estimates the loss which Europe made to a quarter of its population. Simon de Covino carries it much higher. According to him, barely a third of the men are alive. "The number of people “Buried," he said, "was greater than the very number of quickly vanls; cities are depopulated, a thousand houses are locked, a thousand have their doors open, and, empty of inhabitants, are "Filled with rot. " The thought of the times held that important events and, in particular, epidemics, were under the influence of certain conjunctions of planets; the doctors did not hesitate to share it. It is to a conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, which happened in the year 1345, that the origin of the disease was generally attributed. This influence was called, in astrological language, higher root; the set of secondary causes which modified its action, such as the temperament of individuals, their food, their age, etc., was called the lower root. Our author, I will not say our poet, also wonders about the dreadful scourge which suddenly came to disturb the men of the fourteenth century, and suddenly made the cemeteries too narrow. "Why," he said, "does divine power multiply." "Does the number of the people work to increase the number?" "Why, after he has filled all the cities of the kingdoms, has God cast his features on those he ruled, overthrown them, and caused them to perish by the sword, by the fire, by the waters?" , by the "plague, those he had multiplied?" The author tells himself well that it was the sins and crimes of men that drew this misfortune upon them. The author claims that during the plague the passions of human beings went wild with more license and fury. The fact is that these irresistible scourges always exert unfortunate influence on the morale of men. Such has been the experience of all time; in the plague of the fourteenth century, in addition to the evil deeds of which the individuals became guilty, a deep emotion seized the masses themselves; and while the Flagellants, troubled by the threat of an imminent death, were seized with an erratically contagious year and indulged in the strangest atonements, a bloody fury drove the peoples against the Jews, and filled most cities with scenes of murder and devastation. It is evident that under the blow of these terrible and unexpected plagues, the intellect ceases to be master of itself; the regular order of the world being perverted, the moral order is in turn perverted, and the populations scattered on the surface of the globe participate in what might be called the irrationality of nature.
  9. Thanks! Wow either Simon de Covino ate some bad cheese or google’s AI needs to study more Latin. Even the prologue is a hot mess. Most of the poem is unintelligible. It’s 44 pages. It reads as if some long winded nut on the forum wrote it.
  10. Would any student or learned individual please point me to where to search for this in English: (Tried JSTOR. Found something in German. Don’t know German.) It’s a poem written in French by a physician and astronomer in 1350 during the Black Death. Magistri Simonis de Covino, De judicio solis in conviivis saturni “Concerning the Judgement of the Sun in the feasts of Saturn”, by Master Simon de Covino The poem explains the allegorical cause of the planetary conjunctions of 1345 in terms of the classical deities. He basically believed the plague of 1350 was caused by the sun.
  11. Dare To Find Out What You’re Really About Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinks in his heart so he is” We were taught in childhood about how good-natured we are. So we take it for a fact and live our entire lives neglecting to examine, not just our actions, but our innermost motivations. Repentance is a dirty word. Like sin, we deny its existence because it’s not good for our self-esteem to investigate the darker regions of our own hearts. It’s awful easy to see the glaring flaws in others, but the inward gaze is fraught with justifications, excuses, and denials. Jesus sees what is behind the masks that even the most skilled therapists cannot see. There’s a level of repentance that is done initially. For some it takes many months to go through all the things that have caused pain and destruction to others. Later, things come to mind that have been long forgotten. For awhile one feels pretty caught up! But later on one may come across some recent, seemingly harmless exploit that gives insight into one’s deepest intentions. When examined, it brings to light the vain, callous, calculating, and duplicitous contents of the heart. It is a devastating shock to reveal just how far from good one truly is once the layers have been peeled off. Jesus pleads for us to repent so we can see clearly our own start point, and begin to learn honesty, for our own sakes.
  12. More Bad News: Spiritualism and Christianity Are Not the Same. Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” From The Great Controversy by Ellen White, published in 1858 Spiritualism teaches that man is a creature of progression; that it is his destiny from his birth to progress, even to eternity, toward the Godhead.” It teaches “Each mind will judge itself and not another. The judgement will be right because it is the judgement of self...” “The throne is within you,” said another spiritualistic teacher, as “the spiritual consciousness” awoke within him. “My fellow men, all were unfallen demigods.” And another declares, “Any just and perfect being is Christ.” In place of the righteousness and perfection of the infinite God, the true object of adoration, in place of the perfect righteousness of His law, the true standard of human attainment, Satan has substituted the sinful, erring nature of man himself as the only object of adoration, the only rule of judgement or standard of character. This is progress, not upward but downward. K carry on with the rad music videos.
  13. Lose the Self Jesus’ words have been reduced to platitudes. Self-improvement is an empty term used in modern psychology. Jesus teaches to lose the self. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 Deny the self: to decide that I am not important and no longer matter. The will of God supersedes the will of the self. God instructed Jesus to come to Earth and complete his mission. Jesus wasn’t keen on coming here. Nevertheless, he did the will of The Father. He is the example of what to do. Laying aside the self does not agree with us. We reason, “If all we have is our lives shouldn’t we live them for ourselves?” So we either turn away from Jesus or dilute the word and the law. Jesus says, “For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance; but from him that hath not, shall be taken away even that which he hath.” Matthew 25:29 This isn’t a materialistic statement. If you live according to the will of God, you will receive the living water and eternal life beyond physical death. Conversely, if you squander your gift of life by living according to your will, you will experience a second, final death. You will lose what you have. The Lamb of God Jesus’ mission in the first advent was to abolish the old sacrificial system with a one time sacrifice for the sins of all, and establish his church on earth. The atonements made by the original Jews were not because God needs to be appeased, or God likes barbecue. The reason is “the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23 The original Jewish community held themselves accountable for transgressions of the commandments of God. When someone in this community committed a sin, they had to choose the best animal from their flock, bring it to the tabernacle, where the priest would give them the knife to slay it themselves. This was so they would understand. Jesus did not come to abolish the law of God. Jesus said, “For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18 He said “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Matthew 15:17 Jesus led a life free of sin and declared to us “I have overcome the world!” John 16:33. He showed us that it is possible to overcome. Jesus said, “And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Mark 3:25 It is not sensible for a part of God, Jesus, to negate the law of He who sent him. The Laodiceans Revelations is meant to be understood. It is for us to determine where we are in the course of time so we can strengthen our faith. Revelations 2 and 3 concern the first Christian in churches in seven real cities in Asia, but they also represent the changing nature of the entire church over the eras since its establishment. Ephesus - to 100 AD Smyrna - to 313 Pergamum - to 538 and so on until the Laodiceans in the present time. I sincerely urge you to take a look at what Jesus has to say about the modern Christians in Revelations 3:14-22. We receive no praise. If we are wise, we will pay attention to our specific instructions. If the seven churches represent time periods from John’s day until the present, can the eras be linked up numerically to the seven vials of the wrath of God in Revelations 16? Instead of the seven plagues occurring one after another during what is popularly considered the “end time,” the plagues may have been catastrophic events that already occurred from the time of John to the present. That would mean our era links to the seventh vial.
  14. For beginners: The Wheat and the Tares Jesus speaks in Matthew 13:24-30 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” One of the extraordinary things about the Bible is the layers of meaning one can glean from the texts. As for the wheat and the tares, the potential for good and evil exists within each individual. Not until the harvest of souls, after every human on Earth has lived their lives, will the souls of the righteous go on to eternal life and the evil men be destroyed. This life is so important because one must choose whether to serve God and bear fruit, or love the world, which is under Satan’s rule, and perish. In the end there is no in between. Only wheat and tares. However, the parable of the wheat and tares teaches us to beware...because “truth lies close to error.” Three Unclean Spirits Revelations 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” The dragon is satan. The beast is the papacy and the false prophet is apostate protestantism. The unclean spirit out of the mouth of the dragon is self-exaltation, the drug of choice for leaders of nations and ambitious men. The unclean spirit out of the mouth of the beast is the dark arts and paganism. They are practiced by the ruling elite under the influence of the beast. This is where the wheat and the tares become tangled. The beast hides its true nature behind a facade of righteousness, confusing the teachings of God, while dealing in power and influence. The unclean spirit of the false prophet is compromise. More wheat and tares: In America, along with the pilgrims who sought religious freedom, came the Freemasons, an extension of the beast system. They founded the government of the United States. Just as in Europe, the American Protestant churches compromised the laws of God in favor of the laws of Rome, obfuscated His word, introduced many lies, and rendered the the congregations impotent. The result is a diluted religion and disintegrating faith. How does this apply to you? Although Revelations 16 says the unclean spirits go to the kings of the world, their powers extend to corrupt the masses as well. Believers must be careful avoid all of these traps, as they lead to the same fate as the kings who conspire against Jesus. 1 John 4:1 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” The Holy Spirit is the one you want to follow. Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Trust in God’s word for your salvation, not words out of the mouths of men. This is your heritage. Read Jesus’ parable of the wedding feast. Matthew 22:1-14. The original Jews were the first invitees of the feast but they ruined it. Now you and I are invited. We are the inheritors of the kingdom if we want it. But Jesus warns by the example of the underdressed guest: you can’t come just any kind of way. You must come through Him.
  15. I think that would be so fun if you did. If you start one I would contribute. I won’t start one because I think people generally don’t want to know that here. I think they would rather hear about anything but that. And if they do want anything to do with the Bible they want it to agree with them or disparage it. There is pressure to back up anything you say regarding the Bible and Jesus right now! and I’m prepared to do that to an extent. But the fact that everything else, even the most out there gibberish gets a pass shows there is insurmountable bias. It would also piss some people off. People online, when dealing with heavy subjects, tend to think if they outwit someone they win an argument, and they tend to get personal instead of taking in the information. But yeah happy to know you realize the situation as it is.
  16. Go to a f***g thrift store. Bukowski Buddha the punk rock swami.
  17. The fact you have overcome that shows strength of character. I knew from the get go not to mess with you. righteous dude I saw Jesus go into the water and come back out with outstretched arms. Happened kind of in reverse; a very clear vision. It freaked me out pretty bad. I didn’t know he was baptized until later when I read it.
  18. Glad for that! Thanks for sharing. So many have died over the centuries having never heard the gospels. And we know from experience that God looks at the heart, so that wouldn’t be a condemnation. So despite our different backgrounds and beliefs He loves us the same
  19. @Morpheus Why is it so difficult for people who believe in Christianity to believe that there were far more ancient religions on this plain way before the rise of Christ? It would actually strengthen my faith to learn about pre-flood religions with parallels to Christianity. I didn’t know Christians denied that. What I perceive is people using similarities between ancient religions and Christianity to disgrace it. If Horus and Jesus were both born miraculously, the next logical step is not: therefore Christianity is bunk stay away from it. Some of the “similarities” found often have nothing to do with Christianity like the drug book example I gave in the post above. Why do Christians or any religion for that matter, believe they're right and everyone else is wrong? Conviction is different from pride. An atheist, for example, is not an atheist if he believes there might be a god. Atheists are completely convinced there is no god and they are zealous. They will shout it from the rooftops. Same for a Christian/Buddhist/Hindu. There is no half way. So if they are all put in a room together there will be drama. Part of Christianity is to go share it with other people, but teaching through actions, along with evangelism is more effective. Jesus said in Matthew 7:1-2 “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” (He goes on to say some really good, slightly humorous stuff after that.) So being judgmental of others because of their beliefs is against Jesus’ teachings. I admit it’s very difficult to put into practice. Despite the numerous religions that exist today, why do you place Christianity above all other religions? At the risk of boring you: I was raised in a pagan town that openly worshipped Dionysus/Bacchus. I have a depiction of the Roman god Janus tattooed between my shoulder blades. I was a shithead who made a career out of transgressing God’s laws. I didn’t have the faintest idea I ever did anything wrong until I started looking into Christianity, and I didn’t start looking into Christianity until I found this forum. At the risk of sounding like a nut: I started practicing witchcraft and getting attacked by a lot of demonic shit last summer. It was then that Jesus intervened in my life through dreams. Upon studying the Bible I see glaring differences between what I thought Christianity was and what it is. What I found is the best thing that ever happened in my life. The innumerable mechanisms that steer people away from Christianity, I believe, are by design. After prayerfully studying the Bible, (not the same as worshiping a book) I know the source of these diversions.
  20. Respectfully to you: Why can’t people decipher Romanism from original Christianity and why do they use Greco-Roman paganism and philosophy to discredit it? Why do they use Babylonian, Assyrian, you name it? It is not the same. Can’t you see that Christianity is not the religion of empires, wealth, and decadence? No that’s the exact opposite of what it is! Jesus was born in a barn! God’s original chosen people were sheep farmers. Jesus, Michael, the archangel, humbled himself to be a baby and grow up as a mere human. Why can’t people see the message is to humble not elevate yourselves. Can you not see the deception? Before anyone opens the Bible to even begin to study it they have gone through shit tons of videos. Garbling, mangling, creating bias against the teachings of the Bible, appealing to the desire for novel information that makes one feel revolutionary. Here in front of me I’m holding this book: The Immortality Key: The Secret History of the Religion With No Name From the sleeve: “There is zero archeological evidence for the original Eucharist - the sacred wine said to guarantee life after death for those who drink the blood of Jesus. The holy grail and its miraculous contents have never been found. In absence of any hard data, whatever happened at the last supper remains an article of faith for more than 2.5 billion Christians.” Their premise is that the last supper was a psychedelic drug trip. Atheists and spiritualists seeking to gratify themselves would probably dig it because it uses “science” to discredit an event in the Bible, that completely went over their heads, in order to say, “Cool. Drugs were used in antiquity.” It just as stupid as them going “Oh pyramids! Oh it has to be aliens.” Where in the Bible does it say there is a guarantee of life after death from any literal drink? No fucking where that’s where! How this elite, fancy, learned doctor has not read the Bible and understood I can’t fathom. Jesus spoke in parables. He spoke symbolically why cant that register? Why does a suburban housemom only reading for six months know there are two definitions of wine in the Bible one that is non-fermented grape juice and one that is fermented, and they don’t? The answer is they never bothered to find out because they don’t want to. They just want to attack. Why?
  21. I would be an 'unbeliever' as I don't believe humanity has sinned and I don't seek redemption. However, I very much have Spirit and 'the sign of the times' is very comprehensible from where I stand. Perhaps you can see sin from a more practical perspective: The definition being transgression of God’s laws, one of which is “thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” Exodus 20:16 A factory moves into a town polluting the water and air. The company suppresses information on the toxicity of the factory waste. Leukemia and other cancers develop in the children of the town. This happens on a worldwide scale to the point that almost everything in modern society, food, water, air, male, female, is a lie. Covetousness, the core of consumerism, is destroying the entire earth and reducing humans to something resembling shrews. Adultery destroys families and consequently ruins children psychologically. They grow up unable to trust, and both sexes are taught to objectify the opposite sex, ensuring more fragmented families. Populations decline, fatherless children produce poverty and perpetuate despair. The wages of sin is death. Transgression of God’s laws lead to destruction. Since God’s laws are now considered optional, even among Christians, everything is a sucky lie. Christianity is holding oneself personally accountable to God’s law and the testimony of Christ, which is, above all, to “love one another.” John 13:34-35 This is hard, which is why most pass on it.
  22. From We Have Been Harmonized: Life In China’s Surveillance State by Kai Strittmatter: The Mission of the Great Yu “The Great Yu was a mythical emperor who tamed the huge river in Chinese legend. The Great Yu had learned from the catastrophic experiences of his predecessors, who could come up with no better solution than simply damming the river, though the dams soon broke again. “But the Great Yu relied on a combination of damming and channeling; he stopped the flow in one place and let it go again in another. That brought him success. And this is even more necessary with public opinion. Free speech is a natural force that requires clever taming.” Kind of like locking down society and then letting us out to pasture now and then. Like sacrificing one or two hated politicians to please dissenters, but showing who really is in control by military occupation of the US capitol. Or the controlled rollout of the covid vaccines, keeping supply and demand in check while squashing any reports of adverse effects...
  23. Have you tried Chaga mushroom? Used to get the big chunks and drop a few chunks into a slow cooker on low with purified water for 24 hours. The taste is good and the chunks can be reused. Used to put that in the child’s sippy cup and lions mane powder in his baby mush. Since you do essential oils, Hinoki and frankincense are said to have nootropic effects. Peppermint too. Hope you get your energy back.
  24. From We Have Been Harmonized: Life In China’s Surveillance State by Kai Strittmatter: “It’s a tried and true tactic: steal your enemy’s words and make them your own. As George Orwell taught us, freedom becomes slavery, ignorance becomes strength. And China is a democratic state under rule of law.” “The subjects of the regime experience their ‘elections,’ ‘sacred right to vote,’ and ‘freedom’ as an eternal farce. In this way, citizens are inoculated against subversive influences. This perverted language makes the population immune and mute.” “(The autocrat) creates a world where things mean the opposite of what they used to, a world in which balance can only be maintained if everyone huddles tightly around the leader. It is structured in such a way that the last person to believe the earth turns around the sun will start wondering whether he is the madman. He will have to stop trusting his eyes, his ears, and his memory, and simply chew the cud of the information he’s been force-fed.” Is this how you felt when the pandemic shoe dropped? I remember a year ago questioning whether I was the crazy one or was I sane and everyone else crazy. Either way is a MF. Is this the China Model come to the West or has it been so all along?
  25. Well satan is hidden in plain sight. Based on the motives and actions of humanity, we are more beholden to him. Why should God reveal Himself to those who don’t even acknowledge Him as their own? You can just as soon ask, “Where is Science? Where is Reason? Logic?” For a great many humans have put their faith in those not in God. I can give you a stack of books that prove humans are not rational creatures, and in many cases, lack basic common sense. If people didn’t operate on manufactured, popular consensus and prejudice they would read, abide by, and hold themselves accountable to God’s laws. They provide the most rational, sane way for us to exist on this cursed planet. Because repentance offends the proud, discontent outweighs gratitude, and subordination to anything but ones own desires repulses those who want to “do what thou wilt,” here you have the world we live in. Because humanity has rejected God, His laws, and His Son, He is not here. He gave us (humanity) a choice, a chance. And we squandered it. The real inconvenient truth is “the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23. We have been given a path to overcome the world and way out of the trap of death, despite our sins, by Jesus’ example and sacrifice, but we don’t want it! There’s too much good shit on TV. The candy bar tastes really chocolaty, and why read any book when it’s easier to just google it. If one is honest in his desire to find God, seek Him out through studying His word and appealing to Him in prayer.
