  1. Dima Adamsky’s , Russian Nuclear Orthodoxy: Religion, Politics, and Strategy, demonstrates convincingly that there are indeed important signs being missed all around us, pointing to a longstanding nexus between the Russian Orthodox Church and the country’s nuclear-military-industrial complex. A nuclear priesthood emerged in Russia, permeated the units and commands in charge of Russia’s nuclear forces, and became an integral part of the nuclear weapons industry. Starting with the Soviet Union’s dissolution in 1991, the Russian Orthodox Church positioned itself “as one of the main guardians of the state's nuclear potential and, as such, claims the role of one of the main guarantors of Russian nuclear security.” At first the church partnered with the military, enabling servicemen to fulfill their religious obligations while on duty. In time, religion penetrated more deeply into the military, as Russia’s political elite and religious elite intertwined. Today, the church has entrenched itself at the tactical and operational levels of the Russian nuclear forces. https://en.zois-berlin.de/publications/zois-spotlight/the-russian-orthodox-church-and-the-military-defenders-of-sacred-borders So the Orthodox Church effectively has control of Russia's nuclear Arsenal. The warheads have also been blessed and named after Orthodox saints how cute.
  2. Neither side in the war in Ukraine is innocent nor righteous. Duh. Many ignore the role the Orthodox Church is playing in the war. In fact the church is central to the conflict. Brief history of Kiev The spiritual capital of Rus mother Russia: "The church of the caves in Kiev dates back a thousand years and is named so because it sits on a series of caves. Before the Orthodox Church took power they were pagan." "Vladimir the Great proceeded to summon the whole city to the banks of the river Dnieper for a mass baptism in 988. This is the founding, iconic act of Russian Orthodox Christianity. It was from here that Christianity would spread out and merge with the Russian love of the motherland, to create a powerful brew of nationalism and spirituality. In the mythology of 988, it was as if the whole of the Russian people had been baptised. Vladimir was declared a saint." "When the Byzantine empire fell, the Russians saw themselves as its natural successor. They were a “third Rome”. "Again, as in Rome, a secular power Communism attempted to inflict a mortal wound to the Orthodox Church but failed. The church slowly regained power after the fall of communism and in 2019, Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, boasted that they were building three churches a day." Russia, however is still suffering the effects of communist secularism. It is a long, long way off from becoming an Orthodox nation. Many women there have had multiple abortions, some 20. Many are morally bereft and drunk. It's the government that is run by the Orthodox Church, not the people. Kirill started the slow conversion with the military.
  3. HUMILITY: HOW? "How can we count others better than ourselves when we see that they are far below us in wisdom and holiness, in natural gifts, or in grace received? The question proves how little we understand what real lowliness of mind is." "Listen to the words in which Jesus speaks of his relation to the Father, and how unceasingly He uses the words not, and nothing of Himself." "The Son can do nothing of himself" (John 5:41) "I can of my own self do nothing; my judgement is just, because I seek not mine own will" (John 5:30) "I receive not glory from men" (John 5:41) "I am come not to do my own will" (John 6:38) "My teaching is not mine" (John 7:16) "I am not come of myself" (John 7:28) "I do nothing myself" (John 8:28) "I seek not mine own glory" (John 8:50) In his words and actions he demonstrates to us how. "It is this: he became nothing, that God might be all. True humility comes when, in the light of God, we have seen ourselves to be nothing, have consented to part with and cast away self, to let God be all." Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Denying the self is an action be done continually. "Take every opportunity to humble yourself before God and man." "We know the law of human nature: acts produce habits, habits breed dispositions, dispositions form the will, and the rightly formed will is character." "I knew Jesus, and He was very precious to my soul: but I found something in me that would not keep sweet and patient and kind. I did what I could to keep it down, but it was there. I besought Jesus to do something for me, and when I gave him my will, He came into my heart and took out all that would not be sweet, all that would not be kind, all that would not be patient, and then He shut the door." -George Fox
  4. TRIGGERED Traditionally, humility came easier for women who had a subordinate position to men. Women's existence was predominately to serve the family and community. In modern times women are taught to resent and reject their God-given subordination to men (which was actually a gift because God gives us what we need, for our own good). People of limited means and low social standing were able to learn humility easier than the wealthy and politically connected. Not anymore. The poor are converted to victims and assigned a special status in society. In the me, I culture in which we reside, all humans of all stations of life are equally susceptible to the snare of self-regard just for the fact that everything offends everyone.
  5. PRIDE "Pride has its root and strength in a terrible spiritual power, outside of us as well as within us; as needful as it is that we confess and deplore it as our very own, is to know it in its Satanic origin." What quality of Satan precipitated his exile? Pride because of his beauty. What quality in Eve did Satan appeal to that catalyzed the fall? Pride: "you will be like gods." It is not always overtly evil and cartoon-like such as Pride Week, or an obnoxious politician. "All want of love, all indifference to the needs, the feelings, the weakness of others; all sharp and hasty judgements and utterances, so often excused under the plea of being outright and honest; all manifestations of temper and touchiness and irritation; all feelings of bitterness and estrangement, have their root in nothing but pride." "Pride and self have the all of man, till man has his all from Christ."
  6. Why did Jesus wash Judas' feet? Why did he liken the Canaanite woman to a dog and then marvel at her? What was it that he kept trying to relay to his disciples but they never really got until much later? If his disciples missed it, how many Christians through the ages have missed it. How many right now are totally in the dark? Writers in the 19th century were just better. Andrew Murray is one such author who wrote Humility. Here are some excerpts: "(Humility) is the great end of God raising a new creation out of a fallen kingdom of angels: for this end it stands in its state of war betwixt the fire and pride of fallen angels, and the humility of the Lamb of God, that the last trumpet may sound the great truth through the depths of eternity, that evil can have no beginning but from pride, and no end but from humility." "Look not at pride only as an unbecoming temper, nor at humility only as a decent virtue: for the one is death, and the other is life; the one is all hell, the other is all heaven. So much as you have pride within you, you have of the fallen angels alive in you; so much as you have true humility, so much you have the Lamb of God within you."
  7. I hope they don’t ban you. I don’t care what you say you have a right to say it.
  8. @SocialDarwin if you grew up you wouldn’t want to destroy what you again know nothing about. If you believe you were taught Christianity when all you got out of it is “sex is bad” you either weren’t taught anything or you didn’t learn anything. Again presumption. The rest of what you’re spewing sounds like it came from Bill friggin Mahr. Even if everyone in the world was a Zionist it still wouldn’t bring about Armageddon. There is no collective dreaming up the end of the world like it’s “The Secret.”
  9. @SocialDarwin, you think that by trampling over Christianity everything will be fine, but that’s what has been happening for 2000 years, and everything isn’t fine. You equate Christianity to the modern concept of Zionism. They are not the same. They couldn’t be more diametrically opposed. How presumptuous to think you know better, and encourage others to fight against something you know nothing about. Just destroy it. You’d be surprised how many grown people do not know about the beast, the false prophet, and their relationship to the dragon. The deception is just that good. You will waste your life away or do damage because it’s so much more appealing to believe the false prophet or in nothing, anything that makes you feel powerful or self-righteous, including paganism. Nothing challenges you to look inward and correct your own errors, and the consequences are disastrous. On a grand scale there are nations of people not looking inward, not challenging themselves, and there is widespread destruction. People are going to tell you that you are a hero and that you’re so awake if you just take some ayahuasca or believe their brand of mysticism, but that too is a lie. That too is a big waste if you cannot see yourself, examine your own thoughts, motivations, and actions, and change what is wrong in yourself first. You will be astonished at how far your image of yourself is from who you really are. The things you thought were important before will fade to nothing. Then you can right the wrongs in your own life, then turn to the suffering and help them. Truthspoon, moonlight, and pi are not taking to you because they want to feel right, but because they care, they’ve been there, and they know better. You are mortal. You will get old and you will die, either way, whether you are a rad little magician, a little god in your own mind, or nothing. Fix yourself first, this is an ongoing process. And attend to others who are suffering darkness. That is seeking the kingdom of God. That is what you can do in this life, that is what Jesus taught.
  10. Ok good I don’t want to piss off one of my favorites on here
  11. Oh shoot. Did you make that picture? If you did I’m sorry to have offended you.
  12. Zheng Wei says everything is f&#&d and it’s Confucius’ fault. If it wasn’t for Confucianism the Cultural Revolution would never have happened, Xi Jinping wouldn’t be dictator, and Chinese people wouldn’t be self replicating zombies. Forget the fact the CCP has whitewashed, distorted and perverted the teachings of Confucius for reasons of political control. It’s Confucianism’s fault that Confucianism is used as a political tool. Nothing wrong with mankind we’re ok! Because you are repulsed by the Christian religion and you’re not interested in understanding it, you think there is nothing there to understand. To many people from all walks of life the Bible is a gift. Smart people, dumb people; one of my Bible teachers is a microchip engineer. It is a personal, spiritual path, if approached with an open mind, by those who need it. You may not need that, FVCKBILLYG4TES. You may be just fine. But many do need it’s wisdom. Maybe the YouTube video will help others who already agree with you agree more, and all can feel right in their disgust with Jesus and the Bible. Keanu Reeves has revealed to us the matrix then what? We become magical wizards and just be awesome? Does it help anyone anywhere ponder their own motivations, actions, heart? Because that’s what needs to change, not the bad guys, not the world. Note: For anyone reading who likes straight talk read and contemplate all of Ecclesiastes, not just the appealing parts. Read all of Proverbs: no layers, no rabbit holes, both very straightforward.
  13. To each his own @FVCK BILLY G4TES. You have posted some solid stuff before, and I respect your opinions. If there’s anything you want to discuss about this thread I’m willing. I don’t care about feelings either, just that prejudices and prejudgements be set aside and that we are willing to learn from each other.
  14. Nothing personal, just have to debunk this picture because it bothered me. It’s a lie based on nothing but goo, but is taken to be truth because internet culture breeds intellectual laziness. Any flimsy half-baked takedown of Jesus will do to confirm biases. Matthew 2:1 “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,” First and foremost there is no indication of how many wise men there were. There could be 3, 10, 24. We don’t know, so there’s no basis for assigning them to Orion’s Belt. There were three gifts, so again it was assumed there were three wise men. The gifts themselves were symbolic. Continuing on... Matthew 2:2 “Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” They are from the East. That’s where they were when they saw the ‘star.’ If the ‘star’ was in the East they would have travelled east but they were in the east and went west. To the Middle East. So this whole picture of the star as Sirius and the sun rising in the East is made by some lazy pothead who can’t decipher east from west. Matthew 2:9 “When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.” Literal stars do not move that way; comets do. Who were the wise men? They were wise because they were watching the heavens for the sign of the Messiah of the Jews, saw it, and followed it.
  15. That’s a good wearing pagan regalia in the south that’s a good start. I’m sure they totally lose it when you come down the road. Been brainstorming... Jesus said go to the widow, the orphan, the poor and visit them in their affliction. To fight this we should go down to the mission where they feed and clothe people, set up a maypole and swing around it. We should ban all efforts by Christians to bring clean water, shelter, and other basic needs to Central American children because you know, Zionism. We should ban all holidays. Christmas...oops that’s a pagan holiday. Halloween. Oh sorry pagan. Easter... Looks like we already won the hell fight without having to do anything.
  16. Inspirational! What’s your plan for the hell fight against the unnatural god?
  17. Yup. Can dish it but can’t take it. If you’re gonna be dumb you gotta be tough
  18. Not sure if you decided to bail. If not, please help with this concept. What is the relationship you found between the solar cycles and human experience?
  19. @TetraG Was it at lest a little fun telling me to grow up? Because of your efforts here I will refrain from cussin, so you have had a positive effect on at least one member.
  20. Why come on here just to whine? That’s attention seeking behavior grow up. The moderators here are just fine. They wrangle gaggles of wackadoos daily so leave them alone. As for members who injure one’s delicate sensibilities with vulgarities, fun, and memes use the ignore button, be the change you want, or go bye bye without leaving a stink.
