  1. The elite will be more powerful because they banked and will continue to bank during the recession.  They seem to have consolidated power over this thing as well.

Millionaire celebrity worship on the TV will continue because they are selling a fantasy.  People who live empty lives need fantasy worlds to escape to, so they don’t have to look at the reality of their lives or those less fortunate.

And because people will continue to be glued to their entertainment devices, they will continue to buy into the lifestyle myth which drives them to consume crap day in and day out, enriching the elite even more, keeping the status quo, and upholding pagan traditions.

  2. I don’t know the feelings and impressions you had during all the parts of the dream, but they will give insight to the meanings.  Like at the beginning were you content?

Sometimes in dreams there will be an object that appears harmless or mundane but takes on bizarre or sinister characteristics.  The object may seem brighter than the other things, like a totem.

In this case it is the slide.  Upon closer inspection of the slide, ask yourself:  what did the slide represent?  One interpretation of a slide is loss of control.  Children may feel this as they have little control over their lives.

The people you thought were your parents ended up being counterfeit parents.  There was one who urged you toward the slide and one who had trepidation.  Could they have been aspects of yourself, one cautious and one daring?

Going down you were broken in pieces then were put back together, but imprisoned.  There was a cut off between you and your parents, who, at the time, were the most important people in your life; your security.  That was compromised in your nightmare.  Was there a fear of losing them back then?

  3. 5 Steps to be with God

Step One:  Realize you are on the wrong path

There are two forces ruling civilization, one right and one wrong.  Many go down the wrong path for years not knowing what they are doing is against God.  The truth is the light.  Pure and simple.  There will be a time for each of us when God calls us to the light.

Step Two:  Realize God is Good

    Psalms 86:15

But thou, o Lord, art a God merciful and gracious,

Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.

    Psalms 68: 5-6

A father to the fatherless and a judge for the widows is God in his holy habitation.

    God makes a home for the lonely;

    He leads out the prisoners in prosperity;

Only the rebellious dwell in parched land.

Step Three:  Let Him heal you

If you let Him, God, through Jesus Christ, will save you from the demonic forces that torment you.  He will root them right out with no problem.  Then He will show you the way to salvation.

Step 4:  Repent for what you have done wrong

Repentance for sins against God should be done with great care and respect.  It’s not like saying sorry to mom and dad for breaking into the cookie jar.  It’s a prayerful and serious matter to bring to God your hurtful and corrupt thoughts and deeds and ask for forgiveness.  But there is nothing too terrible that God will not forgive if you have a sincere heart.

Step 5:  Stay on the right path

God wants us all there with Him at the end of this world.  If you keep your eyes and ears open to them, Jesus’ teachings and the Holy Spirit are here to guide you home.

  4. There are people out there who are drowning in a sea of meaningless, miserable, or one step away from ending their life.  I know what that is like and so do some of you.  So let’s lift them up.

    The Shvetashvatara Upanishad 3:10-15

He fills the cosmos, yet he transcends it.

Those who know him leave all separateness,

Sorrow, and death behind.  Those who know him not live but to suffer.

The Lord Of Love, omnipresent, dwelling

In the heart of every creature,

All mercy, turns every face to himself.

He is the supreme Lord, who through his grace

Moves us to seek him in our own hearts.

He is the light that shines forever.

He is the inner Self of all,

Hidden like a little flame in the heart.

Only by the stilled mind can it be known.

Those who realize him become immortal.

He has thousands of heads, thousands of eyes,

Thousands of feet; he surrounds the cosmos

On every side.  The infinite being

Is ever present in the hearts of all.

He has become the cosmos.  He is what was

And what will be.  Yet he is unchanging.

    The Lord of immortality.

  5. It’s when you’re driving down a street lined with maple trees of all colors, all lit up by the sun.  And are thankful.  It’s the perfection of a tangerine.  And your taste buds that taste it.  Who did that?  Not me.  Not my mind.

Lungs, heart, brain, nerves, bulldogs.  The night sky, the day sky.  I mean come on none of us made that up let alone brought it into being.

  6. I’m lording over this coffee mug right now.  Far as everything else, no.

We all have gifts of the spirit.  I believe you can hear, @Steph.   No need to assume another isn’t tuned in to their own deal.  We’re all working in the right direction, hopefully.

    1Corinthians 12

“There are different kinds of gifts. But it is the same Holy Spirit Who gives them.

There are different kinds of work to be done for Him. But the work is for the same Lord. There are different ways of doing His work. But it is the same God who uses all these ways in all people.

The Holy Spirit works in each person in one way or another for the good of all.

One person is given the gift of teaching words of wisdom. Another person is given the gift of teaching what he has learned and knows. These gifts are by the same Holy Spirit.

One person receives the gift of faith. Another person receives the gifts of healing. These gifts are given by the same Holy Spirit.

One person is given the gift of doing powerful works. Another person is given the gift of speaking God’s Word. Another person is given the gift of telling the difference between the Holy Spirit and false spirits. Another person is given the gift of speaking in special sounds. Another person is given the gift of telling what these special sounds mean.

But it is the same Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, Who does all these things. He gives to each person as He wants to give.”

Let US make man in OUR image"

Who was God talking to? Or what did he mean by "US" and "OUR" image?

Perhaps God is three, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  The Bible said that Jesus existed from the beginning.

The angels.  Were they made in the image of God as well?

    On women:

I might be the only female in this thread.  It’s okay being lower, as long as I can know God...

God told Eve “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you shall bring forth your children.”  True.

God said, “Yet your desire will be for your husband and he shall rule over you.”
So that’s the deal.  We get pain and boy craziness. 🙂

  8. Things aren’t always what they seem

Just thinking about this stuff, what it means to practice Christianity.  OK, we got praying and reading the word, receiving insights...

When we think of Jesus, and what he did when he was on Earth, and how he wanted us to duplicate his deeds...he helped the poor a lot.

Is what he said and did in regards to the poor really for the benefit of the poor or for us

    Matthew 25:35-40

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

The King replied, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

    Matthew 26:11

For you always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me.

Does Jesus mean for us to do his good works by using an intermediary?  He laid his hands directly on the leper.

I don’t think it is about charity, like dropping off some groceries to the food aid bin at the store.  It isn’t about cutting a check to “toys for tots” or some other thing.  It isn’t about doing anything and then boasting about it, getting a tax break, or counting ourselves saved afterward.  It isn’t to do it once, twice, forever, in secret, and think “that’ll do it!”

I think there’s something more to it more guys!  Possibly there is something to be learned, an ongoing lesson from direct interaction with the needy and afflicted.  Secrets might be hidden right there, Jesus has to be hidden somewhere within that direct contact.  Not for the sake of the poor but for ours!

The whole Bible mentions the poor a whole lot too.
    https://www.openbible.info/topics/jesus_and_the_poor

Never did it myself.  Might be something to look into.

  9. Why quote Jesus in the title?  The way of Jesus Christ is nothing like the Law of Attraction and the rest you mentioned.

I don’t understand why people would rather look to paths brought by modern teachers born out of the modern world, yet ignore teachings that have stood the test of thousands of years, written by way better clued in individuals.

I guess it’s more cool and fashionable.

How can happiness be attained without first realizing how one has strayed from what is right and good, and instead brought suffering upon oneself and others?

Realizing the many ways the enemy deceives is part of coming to the truth, which is the start of finding real happiness.

Most will be astounded at how far from truth they really are.  Finding truth is a continuous process, a life long process of discovery.

The world is totally fubared.  It’s a done deal.  That’s depressing.  But hope comes from reliance on Christ.  From God comes strength.

It was possible for Daniel to survive Babylon and all its pitfalls.  It is possible for us to survive the abomination of desolation.

To be happy is to be grateful, thankful and reverent before the Lord for all the blessings bestowed upon you.  Also, being thankful for the very difficult moments in which you grow.

Happiness is not wanting anything but to reside within the love of God.  No powers, no abilities are from yourself, but are gifts from God, to be developed in honor of Him, not yourself.

    Re: Yuri Bezmenov video

I’m blown away.  I’m incompetent to provide anything of more value than what was said in that video.  It’s the most important thing to see in this thread.

“They cling to their guns and their Bibles” said Obama, the radicalized, homosexual agent of destabilization.  He said it with contempt and ridicule, as more than half of Americans flashed their eyes with a hint of the same revulsion towards what is now the minority.

Exactly where is your country on Bezmenov’s  linear progression from demoralization to normalization?

    Demorilization —> destabilization —> crisis —> normalization

I think the US in the normalization stage.  The country has been tested by the corona crisis and the George Floyd crisis.  The country was baffled and afraid.  Only a literal handful came out with their guns, wearing their crosses.  Only a few recognized the civil war for what it was.

The rest descended back into meaningless consumption, as Yuri Bezmenov said, “worms, inlet and outlet.”

How can anyone fight subversion in their own minds if they have a TV in their home?

I think about my dad and stepmother, Christians who watch CNN every night and now won’t visit their grandson or come to Thanksgiving at our house because the TV told them not to.

My mom reads the Bible and prays, but can’t feel anything because of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors circulating in her system.

I think about where I am, the south, surrounded by hundreds of churches and I wonder how many of these churches have been subverted by the same demoralization and destabilization agents.

The church I have been going to down the street from my house has been pulled out of multimillion dollar debt, taken over by a “Christian” bank.  The new pastor put a store in the church building and is pushing for million dollar expansion on land they don’t own.  I suspect he is operating under the influence of that banking entity.

The children’s Bible school teaches Bible stories with cartoon animations and the children are encouraged to regurgitate irrelevant details back to the teacher, color, play, and go on their merry way.

So I’m with you on the cynicism regarding the rest of everyone else, but haven’t given up on myself and my son.  Hope you haven’t given up either.
