  1. Don’t know what they’re talking about, but I like it!
  2. Fuck it. It’s about being a spectator, being entertained. The one eating the other is the spectator watching the entertainer who is having the authentic experience (who runs free before him). “Putting him right into his mouth” is the watcher consuming the free. “While fantasizing the beauty of his movements” is the second hand experience of witnessing the musicians, actors in the movie, sports players running across the field. Living vicariously through the other instead of living oneself. By being entertained we are robbing ourselves of direct experience while consuming those who are having direct experience. It’s an asinine thing to do, not unlike slapping yourself in the face. And in doing so we are destroying authenticity until there is none left to feed upon. Only simulation, second hand experience, and people sitting around slapping themselves in the face. Picture a stadium full of people slapping themselves in the face. A country of people in front of their TVs doing the same.
  3. @killing raven sun out of reactions. Thank you for your post.
  4. Of Course by Jane’s Addiction If you are hanging out in here you are bored and can put in your two cents as to the meaning of this song. I have my idea but don’t want it to influence your idea of what’s going on here. Thanks if you bother to contribute. Lyrics Of course this land is dangerous All of the animals Are capably murderous When I was a boy My big brother held on to my hands Then he made me slap my own face I looked up to him then, and still do He was trying to teach me something Now I know what it was Now I know what he meant Now I know how it is One must eat the other Who runs free before him Put them right into his mouth While fantasizing the beauty of his movements A sensation not unlike Slapping yourself in the face Slapping yourself in the face Slapping yourself in the face
  5. @killing raven sun If you please, who (or what) is God to you?
  6. Good morning folks. @killing raven sun You are thinking of Genesis 3:7 “They knew they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made loin coverings.” Then... Genesis 3:21 “And the Lord made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.”
  7. Why does God xyz? If God does a. then why does he do b. and not c. (or what I believe he should do)? Is it impossible to find out? Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” But maybe some answers can be found after all. Letter of Paul to the Colossians 2:2-3 “God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” I do not pretend to have definite answers to questions such as why is there suffering, etc. Going back to the garden of Eden, the snake and the forbidden fruit, it could be that God wanted his people to have free will and choose to love and obey Him. They chose against God and suffered inevitable consequences. Yet I still believe God is not cruel. Adam and Eve did get expelled from the garden, but He also clothed them and put an enmity between Satan and the woman and between his seed and her seed.
  8. Oh hey lots to catch up on in here. The hero movies Like Gladiator where the strength of the protagonist comes from himself alone. Driven by revenge or honor of some ancestor or king, he does amazing feats on his own steam, always triumphing over the enemy. This is another lie fed to boys and, lately, girls that they can do spectacular things on their own volition. They do not need God to give them strength in adversity and do not realize when God has blessed them when there is no adversity. So they grow up with this and many other falsehoods in their minds and they fall prey. A godless life is like a house left without a protector in the middle of a war. The enemy comes into the house, ransacks the place, steals, kills, and defiles everything that is of value in the house. Whoever survives the attack is left broken and scarred, with PTSD or dead inside. Lost. The thing about being lost is you don’t know it, otherwise you wouldn’t be lost. You may fool yourself that you are just fine, thriving even, on your own strength, but that strength will eventually, inevitably run out. And without help from a higher source, you will die lost, scarred, fed off of as prey to the demonic forces. And never having found the real treasures that are hidden on this earth. I believe they are hidden in certain ancient texts. I believe they are in some people as well. Where do you find them? Anyway, carry on the debate see y’all later.
  9. Even a scientist, upon pondering the celestial and earthly conditions necessary to make human life possible, has some idea that we are rare and unique beings. The forces behind the mechanization of humanity have made various attempts to undermine humanity’s specialness, and reassign our status to beneath the animals. The only thing standing in the way of complete dehumanization of our species is the idea that we can have a meaningful relationship with God. What is our originally intended relationship with God? How does He regard us? Matthew 10:29-31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” And how should we regard Him? The Shvetashvatara Upanishad 13 “Love the Lord and be free.”
  10. Is God cruel? I don’t think so. 1 Peter 5:10 “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.“ EzeKiel 33:11 “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”
  11. From The Shvetashvatara Upanishad: VI 1The learned say life is self-created; Others say life evolved from time. In truth The Lord brought the cosmos out of himself. 2He is pure consciousness, omnipresent, Omnipotent, omniscient, creator Of time and master of the three gunas. Evolution takes place at his command. 5Know him to be the primal source of life Whose glory permeates the universe, Who is beyond time and space, yet can be Seen within the heart of meditation. 6Know him beyond the tree of life, Whose power makes all the planets revolve: Who is both law and mercy, yet can be Seen within the heart in meditation. 7Know him to be the supreme Lord of lords, King of kings, God of gods, ruler of all, 8Without action or organs of action, Whose powers seen in myriad ways. 9Know him to be the cause without a cause, Without a second, parent or master. 10May he, Lord of Love, who hides himself In his creatures like a spider in its web, Grant us illumination. 11The Lord is hidden in the hearts of all. The eternal witness, pure consciousness, He watches our work from within, beyond The reach of the gunas.
  12. This is not a thread to debate whether or not there is a God or shit on one another, okay? Descriptions of God found that have meaning to you, not just from the Bible. Isaiah 40:6-8 All flesh is grass, And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:11-28 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young. 12Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance? 13Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, Or as His counselor has taught Him? 14With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of understanding? 15Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, And are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing. 16And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, Nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt offering. 17All nations before Him are as nothing, And they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless. 18To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him? 19The workman molds an image, The goldsmith overspreads it with gold, And the silversmith casts silver chains. 20Whoever is too impoverished for such a contribution Chooses a tree that will not rot; He seeks for himself a skillful workman To prepare a carved image that will not totter. 21Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. 23He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless. 24Scarcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble. 25“To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One. 26Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing. 27Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”? 28Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
  13. The American public have been primed for voter fraud to happen for months now. They have been primed to accept it and simultaneously be wary of the threat of violence. They have been conditioned to accept living under a new kind of tyranny as normal. The people in the Trump Administration are not stupid people. They are cold, calculating mfckers. If they sincerely wished to avert voter fraud they would have made it happen. Part of the plan is to put on a show for the public, of fighting against what has already happened, so people will tune in day after day and get reprogrammed again. Plus tons more ad revenue for the internet and TV media.
  14. Oh and they included a side note to occasionally lead you on a merry dance of pre-planned “reasoning” exercises, so you can have the illusion of being logical thinkers! On page 50 of MINDSPACE it mentions using public service workers as spies to gather information for the behavioral insights team. Your facial expressions are also recorded and analyzed to identify true emotions, the ones that can only be detected in split seconds, to identify effective ways to target you. So cover up those camera lenses when you can.
  15. PRIMING - sub-conscious cues that influence behavior Many things can act as primes, not just subliminal messages. 1.Words Example: Exposing people to words relating to the elderly (e.g. “wrinkles”) meant they subsequently walked more slowly when leaving the room and had poorer memory in the room. They had been primed with an elderly stereotype and behaved accordingly. 2.Sights Example a. A happy face presented subliminally to someone drinking causes them to drink more than those exposed to a frowning face. Example b. Size of food containers primes subsequent eating. Larger containers encouraged subjects to eat more food than smaller ones. Certain objects in the environment can alter behavior. Question for you: What behaviors are masks, hand sanitizers, and rubber gloves priming us for? AFFECT - emotional associations can powerfully shape our actions. Emotional responses are rapid and automatic, so people can react without realizing what they are reacting to. All perceptions contain some emotion. Propagandists use facial expressions, words, and images to evoke feelings of disgust, inferiority, pride... What emotional responses have you been primed for? How do you react to the poor and unfashionable? The elderly and infirm?
  16. @FVCK BILLY G4TES Thanks, I only saw a little clip from the Yuri Bezmenov talk. I will listen to it.
