By obsessing on particular numbers you will see them everywhere - it's how our mind works. I had 10:10 implanted in my head and it seemed that every time i looked at my phone it was 10:10. Then I realised that was because my mind was just not registering the hundreds of other times that were cropping up on my phone.

 

 

And medication, whether we like to admit it or not, is often either a predeterminant of "seeing patterns and symbols" or prescribed to deal with delsusional thoughts.
