I loved the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars. Compulsive viewing, albeit I never really tuned in to WCW at the time. As a young kid, I idolised the Ultimate Warrior and nearly wet myself when he beat Hogan. Certainly looking back...WCW nailed WWF for a while... Hogan was so much better as a heel. The NWO was almost certainly the coolest stable ever created. And like you say...the swagger of Scott Hall was off the scale That plane strutt was class Wrestling now is just pants.

That's one mantra that I kind of cling to a little when talking about cover ups. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Football at the time was in a bit of a crisis. Attendances we not great, facilities in stadiums were shocking. At Cardiff, out toilet was basically a wall to pee up against. Food was hardly edible and the football was pretty dire too Young men in their 20's and 30's were disillusioned with society in general and having a skinful and a dust-up was as exciting a thing on the weekend as anything else Britain had to offer. You could buy cheap rail tickets off the back of cornflake, washing-up powder boxed and get around the country for a few quid, so that's what loads of football fans did. After Hillsborough, stadiums started to change and then the Premier League was set up. It became a viable and attractive product to flog to the masses. Football is totally different now to the 80's.

I wasn't old enough...not quite...to remember, although I remember football around the mid-late 80's enough to know what went down. Was horrific what took place and a symptom of society in general at the time.

Without this sounding like Football Focus, it did come as a bit of a surprise from a football point of view, although he is being clever. At the end of the season, Mo Salah will be off to do an "exciting project" in the Saudi League for stupid ££££. It will take a minor miracle to get someone as consistent as him in the transfer market and will cost a fortune to try. Unless Darwin Nunez starts hitting the net and not row ZZ, they will also need to get a striker (#9) in. This is without perhaps another midfielder. Their wishlist will also need a replacement within 2 years for their keeper and big Virg in defence. Plus, Germany is sniffing about for a new manager...seems a bit suspicious to me. It might very well be a coincidence, but perhaps he is struggling health wise. What is definite...is that I won't be fawning over him like many. He obviously knows his stuff. However he is like a lot of other "top" managers...everything is "cool" and all smiles/laughter when they win...when they don't, over the top of the pram goes the rattle, toys and dummy. Plus, I have a massive dislike of Liverpool fans in general. The most entitled and self-indulgent fans I've ever met.

When you accept who you are and what this world is like, it can be extremely freeing and liberating. This world is absolutely consumed with "stuff" and "things". I work with a fair few younger people in work (in their 20's) and they are totally addicted to this world...how many followers they have on Instagram, spending thousands on glamorous holidays just for the chance to take a selfie there, hundreds on single items of clothing, getting themselves up to their eye balls in debt with a mortgage... Be thankful that you can see the things in life that bring peace, contentment and satisfaction. The simple things that cost nothing but mean the most.

What are your views on contracting some form of illness from the jabbed when it comes to intercourse? Lots of differing views.

I think there have been some attempts at dating apps but they are quickly filled with bots, fakes or sadly some right howlers. I was on FB for a very brief period to keep in touch with other awake people through the pandemic and joined a few groups. Some right nutters out there. Happy enough being single for the time being.

I really hope by some miracle, Richard is not ruined by what takes place in court. It's obviously a hit job. He is one of the really decent people you'll likely meet in life and I hope whatever happens, he will be able to keep doing what he is best at.

I agree. I see a lot of masks put on by the New-Age crowd and I don't see some as being particularly authentic. As for self-indulgences etc...I don't see things like Facebook et al necessarily being "of the devil" or that type of thing, however I do see the need for balance and moderation in people's lives. I couldn't spend all day glued to my phone or swiping or liking people's photos like so many do. Those in charge have done a good job of detaching us from nature and human interaction.

Dopamine isn't evil in itself, however society and the world around us is almost unrecognisable than it was in say the 60's/70's. Everything is instant nowadays. Gratification on-demand. Fast food, shopping on your phone with a few clicks, porn on subscription in your living room, someone sending instant real-time "likes" to a photo you post...the ways in which we get a "hit" are everywhere. I don't think it is so much with the dopamine, more so to do with what we do as a society now for satisfaction. Feeding the birds in the park, walking on the beach, gardening, going to the gym have been replaced with things which can be harmful not only for our minds and mental health but our financial, spiritual and emotional lives.

This is an interesting thread. Only recently have I come across the debate as to who Hitler was, what his motives were and what side of the fence he was on... I came across "The Greatest Story Never Told" and have watched it pretty much twice through. Got to admit it really made me think. Do I think all of it is entirely accurate or true? Probably not as usually the truth is somewhere in the middle so to speak. However, I really do question now whether Hitler was a bad guy Are there any other good documentaries that perhaps give an alternative view to WW2? Happy New Year people.

One that the Jews will play a huge part in "End Times" events, and the other, which I now hold, suggests that the current state of Israel is not what some Christians believe it is (fulfilled prophecy). Worth a watch.

I agree. I've worked with young people for 23 years now and there is a massive, massive problem coming our way with the under 21's. Huge numbers have been stuck on meds by their GP because of anxiety and stress when in reality, what they are experiencing is normal human emotions e.g. stressing about their exams, grieving the loss of a loved one etc. The worrying thing is, a lot of people now equate some form of anxiety and stress as mental illness or mental health concern and getting hooked on drugs when all they need is a support network, some resilience and a bit of time to works things through. We are sadly facing an epidemic of the next generations being brought up like some bunch of drugged up zombies.

My guess for what it's worth is that for the most part, a lot of what we see now presented as news is merely a political form of entertainment. The EastEnders version of government and current affairs. I've got to the point where I'm content with my faith and try to live my life without fixating on stuff like this. I'd rather live my own life, get out and about and enjoy what I believe God has blessed me with.

The amount of players dropping dead are up 300% apparently. Just coincidence of course. Another thing I'm noticing is the amount of minutes applause and silences we are now having. In work they are planning to start "lockdown drills" in schools within the local authority. The token H&S officer a.k.a jobsworth...is starting to flap and is buzzing around all staff to keep all gates, doors etc closed around the site because this "drill" is going to be played out soon. Interesting What are they planning?

I totally agree with you... For a while I've been pondering what is COVID. Growing up as a kid, you'd hardly ever get any planes flying over the Valleys here in South Wales. I would be amazed at seeing one. Since COVID though, they are everywhere. A good friend of mine who is awake and lives a few streets away refuses to accept that chemtrails are real...for some bizarre reason. Over the summer months when COVID really was at its peak...the skies above us were like literal chess boards. 14, 15, 16 trails at times overhead. I think that's how they have like you said...poisoned us.
