    What Is Your Opinion of The Subconscious Mind?

    I have this book called The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. Reading the book this in a way sounds like the Law of Attraction which is something I have tried and not worked out for me.

     

    For example on page 78 one of the techniques for business people is to say the word "success" over & over many times during the day until they reach a conviction that success is theirs. That is just one of the techniques in the book.

     

    To be honest I haven't done everything in the book, so maybe I should wait to finish it before forming a opinion.

     

    Do you believe in the subconscious mind? Or something like it?

     

     

    Just curious.

    Well, how did it go?

    Are tarot cards popular in the country that you are in? They are popular in SoCal.

    I don't think that the cards themselves are supernatural, but it's the symbolism that counts.

    Tarot readings IMHO can help you explore yourself & gain some clarity and can help you reach your goals.

    Well I would be interested in reading your thoughts.

    Abraham Hicks 20 Years Later & The Law Of Attraction

    I did this philosophy for about 20 years and in total, I didn't manifest the things I was requesting of Source for. It wasn't because I didn't try, it was because I didn't process the whole " allowing & expecting " procedure during the day and night, to me, which is required to come into alignment.

     

    Also, I found the YouTube videos confusing and hard to understand. I am not bashing Abraham Hicks. I just found that it just wasn't for me anymore.

    Interesting that no one talks about the Law Of Attraction anymore? Maybe it was just a fad? IDK. 

     

    What are your thoughts on the Law of Attraction and Abraham Hicks? You can still find their books in the bookstores today. And what are your thoughts on "channeling"?

    Hello everybody,

     

    My name is Rich. I have heard Mr. Icke many times on late night radio, and I have even looked at his books at the local bookstore and I think David Icke is well spoken & very knowledgeable about what's going on in the world. I don't believe it all, but as Art Bell used to say, " If you throw spaghetti at a wall, some of it will stick. "

     

    I am into spiritual matters. I read tarot cards. I am a "active dreamer" (see Robert Moss's books)/// I use to be into Abraham Hicks but now they remind me of a cult, I like heavy metal music, good food and that's all I can think of right now.

     

    Oh, I want to put up a photo under my username but, I don't see a place to do that on the forum. Others have pics ups, some don't.

    Fake Moon Landings

    I have read a lot of things about a phony moon landing online and on Coast To Coast radio...

    and for me the jury is still out on whether or not it is faked.

     

    There is 27 pages to this thread, I am not going to read all of it (too much).

     

    What do you think is the best evidence in favor of the govt faking a moon landing?
