Perversion has become normal in todays society due to the ease of access to internet pornography and Sodom and Gomorrah have nothing on the internet browsing histories of half the people on this forum. The reality is we are all physically bound by the rules of the society we live in, we cannot escape this anywhere on the planet. Throw me in a cell with nothing and I still have Gods love inside me, this is what religion is. It has nothing to do with Satanism which was a fabrication peddled by those in the church who wished to have more power. In all walks of life there are misguided people who give in to sin, I think you might benefit from taking a fresh look at Christianity and allow the light to wash over you.

Religion can also save lives and I for one will continue to dig deep in order to support the great work the RCC does around the world. Like all things there are negatives and there is no doubt darkness within the corners of religious organisations, but this is part of being a mirror for society. We need to be able to see religious organisations as a way to better ourselves by considering their teachings with an open mind. To focus on the darkness suggests to me that such a person might benefit greatly from also paying some attention to the light that shines bright from Christianity.

Let us not dwell in the past brothers and siters and instead strive forward into the future creating oasis of truth in the wilderness of our world for those who have opened their hearts to God.
