  1. Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem: People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.
  2. How interesting, Mr. Crabtree! Ahhh yes, the boredom that can be so inherent in driving a bus alone or even spending time in the garage. This I am all too familiar with, as I spent perhaps too many years in that field. When driving alone, I used to regale myself with scat music at the top of my lungs. Only when alone, of course, and particularly when I would get drowsy! Perhaps the stray dogs would hear me and want to howl along? One of my favorite amusements was to invent pneumonic devices to help me memorize the street names that I would have to frequent. The silly words I used most often were, “Little Children Yawn During Summer. Do Not Belittle My Career Over Just Money. Thank God Properly Please.” If you had to string all this together more cohesively, perhaps it could be, “Learn Clearly Your Directed Sentences. Definite Neurological Boosts May Configure Outright Jogged Memory. Together Great People Pronounce.” Tangentially I may add, in relation to location memory, there could be much said for neuroplasticity. It is the brain’s ability to change its structure in response to new experiences or challenges. Neuroplasticity is a continuous process that occurs throughout the life of your brains, mmm brains…. Evidence of this can be found in the brains of mammals that rely on location memory, such as squirrels or London taxi drivers. The latter would undergo a rigorous four year long course of study called, “The Knowledge.” They had to memorize the names of some 25,000 streets and how they interlocked, if memory serves me correctly. They were expected to be quite the faithful guides! The posterior hippocampus is responsible for location memory. Brain scans indicate that the posterior hippocampi of squirrels and London taxi drivers are enlarged. So next time you forget how to get somewhere, that is the posterior that should get a little spanking! Way to talk about being a, “butt man”, huh?
  3. This is an excerpt from a book, The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran. The entire book reads like a poem. From the chapter ‘On Giving’: You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. … There are those who give little of the much which they have- and they give it for recognition and their hidden desire makes their gifts unwholesome. And there are those who have little and give it all. These are the believers in life and the bounty of life, and their coffer is never empty. There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward. And there are those who give with pain, and that pain is their baptism. And there are those who give, and know not pain in giving, nor do they seek joy, nor give with mindfulness of virtue; They give as in yonder valley the myrtle breathes its fragrance into space. Through the hands of such as these God speaks, and from behind their eyes, He smiles upon the earth.
  4. I see emotions as windows into personalities. Taking the example of happiness, sadness, anxiety and embarrassment, one could illustrate this as follows: Five young boys are playing together. One unfortunate child trips over his own shoelaces, falls and dies. Of the other four who witnessed this, one immediately points and laughs at the misfortune. Another becomes sad and runs over to check on the poor dead lad. Yet another anxiously looks upon his own shoelaces to make sure they are in fact tied. Lastly, you have the boy who feels quite embarrassed within himself, because he was internally laughing at the incident too, but realizes that reaction seems off, and he felt too anxious to be the bold one to check on the lad, but he wanted to since it seemed to him like the right thing to do, and he saw the untied laces, considered warning the dead lad earlier, but said nothing, unlike his wonderful loving mum who always would remind him about his shoelaces. Yeah, that last one has a lot going on inside. I know this illustration is a bit grim. It is easier to remember this way because it elicits emotions. This topic reminds me of that movie, The Mask. Jim Carrey plays the role of a timid bloke who really has a lot of amazing emotions on the inside. It takes wearing that magic mask to bring them out to the surface. Then you have the villain character- when he puts on the mask completely different qualities come to the fore. And remember the little dog? Also, a lot can be said for inner peace… Sometimes people needlessly allow themselves to be bothered with less than pleasant emotions. There is an old proverb that states, “When anyone replies to a matter before before he hears the facts, it is foolish and humiliating.” To me, this proverb points to the need for the emotional maturity to reserve emotional reactions until sufficient information is gathered. The thought behind this proverb does not only apply to unpleasant emotions. Have you ever felt attracted to a woman, only to find out much later that she is a complete and total nutter? The emotion of the initial attraction can still help you to see a lot about yourself. Like, maybe you are a man with a pulse. But more seriously, maybe you just really like brunettes with curly hair. Okay, okay- maybe it means you have a lot of love to offer. There. So emotions are like windows.
  5. Also I would like to point out more clearly is that the definition of the numbers is different for each individual. The internet has information about what the repeated numbers mean, and that is fine and dandy. What I am encouraging is the awareness of the perspective of the spirit realm around you. For as anyone who sees these numbers, I empathize: why is this happening when it does? It is to grab your attention at that moment, so you remember them. This is a different experience for every individual. It is a matter of getting you to reflect upon yourselves. Please think upon what is truly most important in your lives right now. You can correlate what the numbers mean to you personally with practice over time. It is very much like developing a sign language just for you, even though numbers vibrate at different frequencies. Love and Peace to all
  6. Think from the perspective of not having a body, but only communicating through “spirit.” You have no physical voice. What would this communication look like? Repeating numbers is a choice. Where are these numbers coming from? Why does one see 444 repeatedly over the past 4 months? Good question, yes? The spirit realm has no vocal cords, like we do in this physical realm. Logically, what resources do they have? For everyone who experiences repeated numbers: Consider carefully what you were doing when you saw the numbers. Remember those moments. It is somehow important to you personally? Probably so, hence this thread topic. Everyone has a different relationship with their higher self, or the spirit realm, or whatever they want to call it. Regardless of the words/vocabulary, the essence is the same- something is calling out to you. It is up to the individual to decipher what it means. Think from the perspective of being a spirit person without the ability to literally talk. You have no physical body with vocal cords. What do you do to communicate? Think from their perspective. What would you do? Repeating numbers is a nice choice. If you had to invent your own sign language, what would it look like? Think about it. If you had to suddenly communicate in this way, repeating numbers would provide a logical choice. Your attention gets grabbed. That is the point.
  7. This 5 minute video dovetails with this topic. Psychosomatic. Surely many here know the concept. Look it up, anyone in need to. Your emotional states impact your realities.
  8. For anyone who wants to understand this topic better, look up what carbon sequestration means.
  9. This is fascinating. Aliens that are not really aliens, but angels. I have often wondered if some “angels” are really aliens, but they have to sort of disguise themselves to be more accepted by people.
  10. Hey there Sofia. I hope you have been well. Just wanted to give you a word of encouragement. It certainly goes without saying, but I don’t mind being the dork to say it out loud- just because people ask you questions, does not mean you owe anyone answers. Thinking about your situation, I wanted to mention that a lot of people do not believe that malevolent aliens exist- that only humans can be, um, not so nice. Maybe ones who can shapeshift into lizards? Not telling you what to believe. I am sure you have keen discernment. Hopefully you will get a kick out of this 90 second movie clip. It reminds me of how unconventional thinking can be useful sometimes. Wishing you well, Sofia!
  11. To get a different take on this topic, jump to the 19 minute mark of this interview. A question is asked. The response touched on raising your vibration, and then explained some things about manifestation. For anyone wanting to make LOA work for them, it is worth a listen. The explanation is broken down to 5 points. Yesterday I fell off the wagon into a pool of whiskey. Yeah, live and learn. Turns out while I was drunk I posted two threads here in the Solutions subforum. I posted this video and called the thread ‘5 Points to Better Self-confidence’. So I will add my little disclaimer here as well: the bloke in the interview talks about channeling an alien, I think, Bashar? (I do not completely remember). Never mind about Bashar, if that is real, though I find the notion fascinating. The bloke being interviewed has shared intelligent information that could help some people. The five points focus on things like living your passion, staying in a positive state of mind, and making honest self-evaluations.
  12. Many people find this bloke to be very informative. He has unique explanations regarding this topic.
  13. LOA works. If it is not working for you, Mr. H, you would have to make some adjustments in your life. As for tackling negative beliefs, there is a method that I learned from a neuroscientist some 20 years ago. I found a brief video of him explaining it to share here, since it could help people. By the way, he calls automatic negative thoughts ANTs for short. The method is a little exercise that is easy enough to memorize. You can identify your negative beliefs one by one, and really work on yourself. Doing so can transform your life for the better. This doctor has performed many lectures. You may find them enjoyable to listen to. He is a psychiatrist who believes in actually looking at the brain. He explains neuroscience in an easy to understand way. He is genuinely passionate about helping people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55BQVEjCqhU&pp=ygUTRHIgRGFuaWVsIGFtZW4gYW50cw%3D%3D
  14. Lucid dreaming is fun. Solution-wise, all you need is to practice the Golden Rule. It is simple to say, though takes thoughtful consideration to practice.
  15. I was not sure what to call this thread. The five points get brought up in response to a question that is asked 19 minutes into the interview. Self-confidence like, peace of mind/ lack of worry/ knowing that you will always have what you need.
  16. The context in which unconditional love is brought up here fascinates me: You take charge of your own life. You choose your own future.
  17. “The motivational mechanisms in all humans,” is explained 32 minutes in. Just one example of why I found this discussion to be beneficial. This part is about overcoming trauma.
  18. Skepticism aside- is this Bashar channeling even real? There is beneficial information in this. Never mind if Bashar is a real thing or not. I believe that different topics in this discussion can help individuals. The information that one can derive is intelligent in and of itself.
  19. This author brings up a lot of other literary references. Definitely a lot of food for thought.
  20. Absolutely! Thank you very much! I am actually overjoyed that my synopsis was sorely lacking. You have really helped me out tremendously!
  21. Fascinating. The summary you posted- you used AI to put that together? Lately I have been wondering about how to get a transcript of a documentary. I have been simply putting pen to paper and taking my own notes. Using computers has not always been the easiest for me, but I know I can learn. I plan on getting myself some kind of computer, maybe a laptop, since mine seems to be too old to go online anymore. I appreciate your feedback, it has been helpful, thank you.
  22. So I like knowing what a video is about before venturing to watch it. This documentary- I like how it was put together, so I decided to watch it again and take notes for myself. I can share some of my notes with you all. The bloke who made the documentary lost a family member in 1994 to a pharmaceutical drug that was getting pushing back then. Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of that prescription drug. So he was in disbelief to see the same doctor again in recent years pushing another “solution”. The documentary concentrates heavily on the U.S. It features an American author. In 1969 the author gave a lecture that was filmed, entitled, “More Deadly than War; Communist Revolution in America.” So this documentary maker featured bits of the 1969 filmed lecture, interwoven with current events and more recent events in history. Basically, it is a detailed examination of the Communist theory and practice of revolution- particularly as applied to the U.S. The statement, “Real change out there begins with real change inside,” was made within the context of people communicating and collaborating with each other for the sake of protecting freedoms in the U.S., and for the sake of a better world. Even though a main focus is the U.S., events of global concern get a major focus as well. Canada, China, Sri Lanka and the Netherlands are featured. The dictionary gets referenced quite a bit and different forms of government are defined. Towards the end, the lecturer gets interviewed. He makes some interesting points. I wonder what he would think of the idea that the U.S., China and Russia are really being run by the same people. Anyway, this documentary covers current events in an interesting way. In my opinion, people can contribute to positive changes by loving themselves, loving their neighbors, and stop paying for and self administering poisons in the forms of conventional foods and pharmaceutical drugs. There must be plenty of other practical ideas out there. I simply think these are a good place to start.
  23. Two tags for this thread could be Covid-19 & NWO. Since there is a whole section in this place dedicated to those topics, maybe a moderator would want to move this thread? Not sure how much it truly matters. I accidentally overlooked that section when deciding where to post this documentary.
  24. The documentary is about 100 minutes long. It is basically about the jab. The USA is highlighted, though other countries are visited. It touches on Communism, The World Economic Forum, and much more. Now, a little forewarning about something that happens 83 minutes into the film. The bloke talking said something that anyone who refuses the jab would not be saying themselves. I feel compelled to apologize in advance for the author who stated the following: “There is actually a way forward and a way out, but it’s going to require work and it’s also going to require that we acknowledge that we have wronged ourselves- that we are part of this problem. It’s not the government that caused this- the government facilitated it- what caused it was our being asleep at the wheel. Without taking accountability we cannot move forward.” To me, this statement felt out of place compared to the overall tone of the film. The end gets a little more positive. A quote from the narrator: “This is the moment for us to activate our innate ability to create solutions that can only happen through the awareness of symbiosis, defined as a mutually beneficial relationship between different groups. All of life depends on relationships. Every living thing is in communication… Real change out there begins with real change inside.”
  25. I appreciate how you continuously draw attention to the need for healing in conjunction with raising our vibration. There certainly is a balance to the approach. To be our best selves is more than simply turning up the dial on feeling good. It requires delving into the parts of ourselves that we need to resolve- eliminating the things that could be holding us down. It is a tremendously satisfying personal experience to face one’s own shadow with a view to being closer to the light. You mentioned looking back on yourself and feeling like you have accomplished what was once a pipe dream. Gosh, maybe you are far too modest to yet see how much more you can accomplish within the next 5 years?
