My dad has made the decision to get a smart meter installed. I want to shield it and have found some mesh to do it. My question is, will he still be able to use the monitor thing once it's been shielded? He's 80 and doesn't really believe things can harm you - or it would be on the telly, of course. I know that if you put a faraday cage round your wifi router, it will cut out the radiation but still allow you to use your wifi, so is it the same with an (un)smart meter?
