  1. I know, IT was the first to leave & I was so glad, I only watched it b/c that opera singer from the advert 'Go Compare' was on & he's from my home town & a bloomin good cook so far.
  2. Yes - she's not very well liked by the public either, she's a self centered Narcissist who loves herself, I hope they do split up. Why is Harry in China on his own ? Why don't we ever see pictures of their kid's ?
  3. Trans row over Celebrity Masterchef contestant Cheryl Hole's previous use of the term 'terf' before her appearance on the show Cheryl Hole, 29, (pictured) featured in the debut series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019 and took part in this week's episode of the cooking show where she was eliminated. It has been revealed that Hole, whose real name is Luke Underwood-Bleach, previously used the term 'terf', meaning trans-exclusionary radical feminist - considered as a slur against those with gender-critical views. She also performed to an audience including children at Dorset's Camp Bestival in 2021. The BBC has now been slammed for the star's 'completely inappropriate' appearance on MasterChef, which is a favourite for many families.
  4. Father Ted writer Graham Linehan vowed to defeat 'evil trans activists' as he broke down in tears after defiantly performing (bottom right) on the street after two venues cancelled an Edinburgh Fringe show over his gender critical views. Organisers Comedy Unleashed started their show outside the Scottish Parliament at around 7.30pm tonight after a replacement venue cancelled the stand-up comedy performance, following outrage that a first venue axed the show. The comedian told MailOnline that trans rights activists 'need to be defeated completely' after revealing he had to go on anxiety medication due to 'painful, horrible and unpleasant' backlash against him and his family. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12418673/Graham-Linehan-breaks-tears-vows-defeat-evil-trans-activists-defiantly-performs-street-Edinburgh-festival-cancelled-two-venues-gender-critical-views.html Sadly the daily mail has the sound of his video outside tuned down - Bastewards

  7. I know they are attacking comedy but this is just plain right ridiculous Fury as Graham Linehan's sold-out 'unwoke' show at the Edinburgh Fringe is AXED after club bosses said the Father Ted creator's views on gender would 'violate' their space following social media pile-on Graham Linehan (top), who created Father Ted (bottom right) was set to join a comedy night at the Leith Arches venue on Thursday as part of a line up put together by comedian Andrew Doyle. The show, Comedy Unleashed, platforms 'unwoke' comics and would have seen Mr Linehan joined by three other performers. But after complaints were made to bosses at the club, they axed the sold-out gig - insisting that they would not allow the scriptwriter's views to 'violate' their space (bottom left). Mr Doyle last night accused the venue of censoring comedy and dictating people's choices: 'A handful of authoritarian activists are deciding what people can watch.’

  11. New reports suggest NATO is getting ready to throw Ukraine under the tank. Ex-CIA Larry Johnson says western intelligence are looking for ways to get rid of Zelensky and make it look like a Russian missle strike. General Cavoli says Russia's military hasn't been degraded AT ALL by the conflict in Ukraine despite what CNN says. And how long until the weapons bound for Ukraine wind up in the hands of African countries rising up against the U.S. and France?
  12. The very first gay marriage in the UK - Why do they do it ?? A whirlwind romance that began in Los Angeles sealed a place in the British history books this weekend as Sinclair Treadway and Sean Adl-Tabatabai became one of the country’s first gay couples to be legally wed. https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-uks-first-gay-marriage
  13. Wasn't Switzerland Neutral territory during WW2 ?
  14. I was wondering if this pub may have been from the Tartarian era that suffered the mud flood & this is why they wanted the pub demolished. It would have been the last piece of evidence we have. They Say the Tilt was Due to Mining Subsidance. The Crooked House was built in 1765 and was originally a farmhouse. During the early 19th century, mining in the area caused one side of the building to begin gradually sinking. It later in 1830 became a public house called the Siden House, siden meaning "crooked" in the local Black Country dialect. The building was later renamed the Glynne Arms after the local landowner, Sir Stephen Glynne, on whose land it stood. The building was condemned as unsafe in the 1940s and was scheduled for demolition. Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries purchased the pub and rescued it by making the structure safe using buttresses and girders to retain its lopsided appearance. Another interesting fact is that if a ball was placed on a downward slanting surface the ball would go upwards.
  15. Didn't take them long to demolish it https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12382535/Britains-wonkiest-pub-flattened-devastating-fire-tore-18th-century-boozer.html
