Tik Tok kid films man being stabbed to death in Canada. This is some pretty sick stuff. https://nypost.com/2023/03/31/tiktoker-faces-backlash-for-selfie-near-canadian-dad-slain-at-starbucks/ -
Academia is a cesspit. Even in the early 70s, academics were forever at each others' throats trying to climb the greasy pole up to a chair. Teaching undergrads was something a lot of the younger ones disdained and it seemed to me that it was a mad scramble to get something published in order to justify their existence.

I'm a bit late to this party, but it's sad to see Solzhenitsyn's works being reduced to bite-size pieces for the Twitter mob. But if it leads just a few people to read his works - and they are pretty compelling - it will have served a good purpose. The use of psychiatry as a weapon by the Soviets had its admirers in the west and now, in 2023, we see it used to bludgeon people into submission to the will of the state. I'm glad that people are outing Churchill too for what he was. I was a young lad in 1965 when he died and I can remember the national mourning for him. Except a few. My dad had no time for him and our headmistress was Welsh from a mining family, and believe me, it must have taken a supreme effort of will for her to say nice things about him. But that's for another thread.

I'd forgotten about that. Yuppie flu was a thing back then. Of course it was attributed to working long hours in buildings devoid of fresh air and suchlike, but it did coincide with the increase of electronic devices like phones and personal computers.

Academia started the whole damned thing. It was the Frankfurt School that first spread the poison through American universities.

Donald Trump Claims He Will Be Arrested On Tuesday

I can't say I care for Brian Rose too much either but I don't blame DI for going on his show. He's got to get the message out somehow and Rose has a sizeable audience. -
I read his work on professional sports a few years ago. Quite prophetic when you see how sport has developed into a mega-business.

Donald Trump Claims He Will Be Arrested On Tuesday
Nemuri Kyoshiro replied to Truthblast's topic in Today's News
The raid - if you can call it that - on his Florida estate, was a great opportunity for Trump. His campaign people increased the number of emails asking for money to fight the 'Deep State' and their antics. Same thing with the anticipated arrest. As soon as that prediction was announced, the electronic begging bowl went out again with an email every 20 minutes or so. Trump is the ultimate grifter. The worst part of it is you can't unsubscribe. -
Bill Gates Essay: "The Age Of AI Has Begun"

Hopefully, but no earthly justice is sufficient to recompense humankind for that level of wickedness. 'Vengeance is mine. I will repay.' -

If the petro-dollar goes tits-up, the soft American lifestyle will come to a shuddering halt. -
Bill Gates Essay: "The Age Of AI Has Begun"

I think his soul is sick and twisted and that manifests in his outward appearance. His smile is that of a person who thinks evil thoughts. Personally, I think Gates has hated humanity all of his life. He has put on that veneer of caring for the sick and impoverished but it's all a sham. He has helped spread death and misery around the world under the guise of philanthropy. That is unforgivable and there will be a reckoning for him one day, either in this world or the next. -
Apparently, they eyes of one of Jack the Ripper's victims were photographed for this very purpose. The sickening this is that these 'scientists' inflicted cruelty on innocent creatures to prove their theory. I would love to give vivisectionists a taste of their own medicine.

He's lived far too long (and he's about one month younger than me). -
Dunno if this has been posted on DI anywhere but last December, the airline industry began efforts to bring in regulations that would mandate only one pilot on the flight deck. Ostensibly, this is to alleviate crew shortages. So, would you fly on a commercial airliner with only one pilot? Buggered if I would. https://fortune.com/2022/11/21/airlines-pushing-one-pilot-in-cockpit-passenger-jets-instead-of-two/

That depends on which bible you're reading. -
It's already gone tits-up; at least in many sectors. The banks are busy propping up the ones that are failing; food prices are skyrocketing; government control increases and encroaches on States rights more now than ever. The education system - well the system for the plebs - is run by communists or fellow-travellers. The US military has long been subverted and the products of the Frankfurt School are sitting in positions of power. The media speaks with one voice and even the alternative newscasters tread carefully. The church, by and large, is now a dressing up parade for the LGBTQ crowd. This is what the west has become.

She married Kushner and regularly attends Chabad where, by some accounts, she is still referred to as a shiksa. Behind her back of course.

Ever looked at the Guardian's job section for the NHS? Management this, management that. I'd love to know what the ratio is between pen pushers and actual providers. I suspect the NHS would be top heavy with the former. Same in the USA and it's medicine for profit model. For every doctor, there's at least two or three administrators above him. Moreover, the big conglomerates are hiring more nurse practitioners and physician assistants than ever before. They can write prescriptions, treat patients, and do just about everything a doctor can do, but for less money and cheaper malpractice costs.
